“I’m still not sure.”

“What about Cindy and her father. Have you straightened that out?” Connor shrugged and nodded. “Which is it?”

“I went to see Tormonte and told him straight up I would
never
marry his daughter. I only want his reference on this job. When I threatened to back out, regardless of the contract, he relented. Said he’d give me the reference as long as the job’s completed on time. It will be. I also got him to agree to shut his daughter up and told him if I hear even a tiny rumor that affected either my business or yours, I’d make sure his business suffered as well.”

“Can you do that?”

“I can.” Conviction poured through in those two little words.

Tyler clapped his hands. “Then all is good on the job front. Now, back to my original question, care to join us at The Vault tonight?”

“Are you sure this is what Angela wants?”

Tyler smiled. His heart soared, and a sense of elation pumped through his system. “This is what we both want.”

* * *

As her orgasm receded and she dropped back toward their resting place on the bed, Connor backed away and allowed Angela’s swollen, crimson lips to drop from his mouth with a soft pop. He marveled at them hanging there, glistening in the soft light like fruit on a forbidden tree. No matter how many times he feasted on them, he never tired of the feel and taste of her plump, juicy labia. He knew he would never tire of it.

As Angela’s breathing returned to normal, Connor turned his attention elsewhere. Tyler lay stretched out beside them, stroking his fingers across her stomach, up toward her breasts, circling each nipple until little goose bumps covered the areola, the nubs erect. His face wet from her orgasm, Connor lifted one perfect leg, bending to weave a lazy, wandering line with his tongue down the inside of her right thigh. She shivered. He circled the sweet spot on the inner bend of her knee and continued down her calf. She shuddered again when he reached her ankle and traced a line up the sole of her foot. Her breath hitched and her leg jumped as he nibbled on the ball of her foot.

His cock, encouraged at the prospect of more play, grew hard. Connor never before considered himself a foot man, but when Angela had worn those sexy high heels to the club tonight, she’d looked delectable. The possessiveness that had empowered him as other men noticed how hot she looked burned through him, making him want to growl at anyone gutsy enough to glance her way.

Wrapping his mouth around her baby toe, he dragged his teeth on the underside, starting at the base and applying gentle suction as he moved to the tip. The sweet blend of a moan and a giggle had him darting a quick glance in her direction. Her eyes were closed, her head tilted back, neck exposed. Tyler sucked on the lobe of one ear, while pinching the cherry-red tips of her breasts.

Connor moved to the next toe, working his way through all five. By the time he reached her big one, she squirmed like a puppy, and made soft mewling sounds. While massaging the sole of her right foot, he moved across to the left, giving her left leg and foot the same treatment the right just received.

When the smell of her arousal thickened the air around them, one glance between her legs confirmed she enjoyed the sensation and was ready for more. He let the fingers of one hand tap along the inside of her leg until he reached her moist pussy. Her breathing quickened. As he sucked her toe into his mouth, he circled her swollen clit with the pad of his thumb. She gasped and lifted her hips to meet his hand. He increased the pressure, and the pace, until she raised her arms to pull him forward.

“Connor, I need you…inside me…now.”

Releasing her foot, he grabbed the backs of both knees and pushed them toward her chest, rolling her hips up off the bed, exposing her. He looked down at her red, open, sex. Hardened to the point of pain, he inched closer, watching as the head of his cock parted her opening and disappeared inside.

He drove forward, and then paused, settling deep inside her hot sheath. In a slow, steady pace, he withdrew. In. Out. In. Out. Her eyes had drifted closed again, her mouth slack in satisfaction. He thrust a little faster, a little harder, until their pelvises collided with loud wet smacks. Her eyes flew open and she rolled her head side to side on the pillow.

Little convulsions signaled her impending release. Connor turned his head, grabbed her right foot, and sucked on her big toe in earnest, each pump of his hips, each stroke of his cock filling her. She gasped and rose to meet him, her movements jerky, her breathing raspy.

Connor pulled out and watched the walls of her pussy close tight. She cried out at the emptiness. He plunged back inside, his gaze moving up her body to watch as his best friend, leaned over and stole the cry from her lips, at the exact moment Connor sent Angela hurtling over the edge, and him with her.

God he loved this woman.

Epilogue

Connor’s breath escaped in a rush as Angela turned the corner and stepped up to the rose-adorned trellis. The path of pastel-colored petals at her feet led her across the enclosed yard. Dressed in a knee-length sleeveless dress of the palest pink, belted at the waist and flaring out to swirl around her legs, Angela gifted him with a delicate smile as she paused under the arch. She clasped her hands in front of her, clutching a bouquet of white roses, the stems wrapped in green silk that trailed over her hands to hang and sway in the slight breeze.

Her eyes sparkled. Her skin blushed, the shade matching her dress as everyone turned to follow Connor’s gaze. A chorus of soft sighs swept through the small gathering of family and friends seated in the chairs. Pulling his eyes from the exquisite vision now making her way toward him, Connor glanced across the aisle to his best friend.

Tyler stood tall, just as captivated by his wife’s approach.

Connor, certain the shiny glaze of his friend’s eyes was not due to the sun beaming down on them, softly cleared his throat.

Tyler’s gaze swung to meet his. A slow smile curved his lips. “She loves you.”

“I know.” He still couldn’t believe his luck. “I love her too.” He shot another glance in her direction to gauge how close she was. “Are you sure about this, Ty?”

“No.”

Connor’s heart stuttered to a stop. What the…?

A flash of white split Tyler’s face as he grinned, but then he became serious once again.

“I’m not just sure, Connor. I’m absolutely positive,” he said, his voice low so as not to carry beyond the two of them.

No worries there. Everyone in the yard was fixated on the vision in light pink strolling through the garden, accepting congratulations along the way.

“I want this. Angela wants this. You want this. It was meant to be this way, Connor. We, the three of us, belong together. I’m certain of it.”

“I’ll take care of her.”

“I know you will. We’ll take of her together.”

“Maybe
I
want to take care of you two.” Angela’s honeyed voice flowed over him, soothing his nerves, creating a peace in his heart that didn’t exist before. Laughter and love filled her eyes.

When he glanced over at Tyler, his friend had the same look.

“I’m here now, gentlemen. Can we please get this show on the road?”

“What’s the hurry?” Tyler asked, his brows peaked in amusement.

A mischievous glint replaced the laugher as Angela looked back and forth between them. “I can’t wait for the honeymoon.”

“Now, now,” said Stephanie, stepping forward to take her sister’s bouquet. “You’ve got a group of people here who want to witness this once-in-a-lifetime-for-most-of-us occasion. You can at least give us a few hours of your time, sis.”

Connor and Tyler chuckled and turned with their bride to face the person hired to officiate the ceremony. Surprising the three of them, Angela’s mother had arranged for this out-of-the-way country club, known for their discretion, to host the event. She had also been instrumental in finding the older woman standing before them.

In fact, Connor’s new mother-in-law had run roughshod over the three of them, making preparations for the ceremony, not letting them take care of any of the arrangements themselves. Other than Angela’s dress and their tuxedos, Margaret controlled the event like an experienced project manager. Connor wondered if she needed a job. Her only request when they offered their heartfelt thank you was to make her a grandmother—soon—and to not leave town.

Although in the technical sense and according to the letter of the law, Angela remained married to Tyler in name, this commitment ceremony would document the addition of Connor to their relationship. Any children she blessed them with would carry Tyler’s name, and Connor had no problem with that. To them, to him, and to all the witnesses gathered around, they would become a single unit today, regardless of whose name Angela and their kids held. The love their friends and family offered would guarantee them a support network.

Connor glanced over Angela’s head to catch his best friend’s attention. Tyler nodded. Connor returned the gesture. They looked down to the woman standing between them. She smiled up at each of them in turn and then took their hands, one in each of hers.

Linked as three, standing side-by-side-by-side, they faced their future, an existence that would bond the three of them together in a way that was closer than most couples ever experienced.

Connor, for one, couldn’t wait. The benefits of this particular relationship were endless.
