Left knee to left knee,

Left breast to left breast,

So it
went on to
left hand gripping left hand and
the Worshipful Master’s
mouth to left the ear of the
Grand
Master

s head.
In a low voice
,
while the audience looked on in worship of these
strong
men,
the Worshipful Master whispered.

‘Mah-Ha-Bone,’
he said,
mean
ing
, “What a Builder”
.
‘I do promise and swear that I will not give the substitute for the Master’s word in any other way or manner tha
n that
in which I receive it, which will be on the five points of Fellowship, and in low breath.’

Both men releas
ed
their grips after about twenty seconds
,
and then the Master turned to his gathered brethren with both hands above his head and arms bent
at
ninety degree angle
s
with his shoulders
and wrists
, almost as a soldier would surrender to an enemy.

‘Let God stand before us in judgement day
,
the eve of our new beginning!
Let us all welcome our fellow brother the Grand Master to this Order!’

The Worshipful Master then lowered his arms in three definite movements to his sides
in
standing of the Distress of a Master Mason.
He
then stood down from the altar and positioned himself
to
the rear of his superior
,
the Grand Master.
No further words
were
spoken between the Grand Master and the Worshipful Master of this lodge.

The Worshipful Master copied the movements of the other Master and
,
at the same time
,
spoke the words
...
.

‘O

Lord my God, is there no help for the Widow’s Son?’

These words should never be spoken at the grand hailing and would be deemed as disrespectful.
The Grand Master stood
erect now with his left hand positioned horizontal across his abdomen.

The Lodge acknowledge
d
his signal.

‘Amen
,
my God.
We are your servant and builder apprentices.’ The brethren all chorused together in a monotonous
,
low voice.
Raising up their left hands horizontal to their throats
, they
symboliz
ed
their throats being cut and
their
tongues torn out by
their
roots and
their
bod
ies
burned in rough
sands of sea at low water mark, where the tide flow
s
and ebb
s
two times in a full day
.

All the members of the Masonic Temple
except the Masters
appeared in strict Masonic dress, consisting of a suit of black clothes
,
black necktie,
black apron with red silk border,
black silk hat and white
and blood-red
gloves.
The Worshipful Master dressed in
a
heavy
,
dark brown gown
with a green and a sash intricately embroidered with symbols
,
as well as a black medallion of the square a compass with the letters RWM embossed upon
it.
T
he Grand Master
was all
in black
, with his red sash and jewe
l
led compass medallion
.

There were also both sexes in the company; men and women dressed formally. Standing and looking in awe at their spiritual leader
,
they waited.
Freemasons dress differently all over the world
, and
each lodge
dresses appropriately to the
formal
dress
of
its home
land.
This was no ordinary order of freemasons, not recognized by any respectable order…. Oh, no, these were special, a very special kind. Each of the brethren was a member of a ruthless and fanatical fellowship.

The
a
ltar and the three lights
above
it represented the Sanctum Sanctorum or Holy of Holies of the original tabernacle in the wilderness
.
D
raped as a mark of respect to a dead brother,
a
black cloth was displayed beneath the three Great Lights.
Black candles inserted in black metal iron candelabras above uncannily gave out very little luminescence, an almost pitiful dull light
that
caricatur
ed
each member of the lodge.
The brethren wore black cloth masks over their faces made of material
similar
to
that of
the drape on the altar, in order to disguise their true identities.

The cold flames from the torches
that
were secured on the walls gave out an eerie
,
shivering
effect, casting weird shadows over the dim
,
subterranean room. The site was sobering and heavy
,
and yet was
marked by
an atmosphere suppressed and pregnant, with
the
potential for hysteria and excited anticipation of some pending fate or unquestionable destiny
...
.

Chapping the
a
ltar with his gavel
,
the
Grand Master began the
main ceremony
.

‘Tauta o bios!’,
or
“such is our life!” he shouted to his audience.

‘Gerusale, civitas et ornamentum martyru(m) D(e)I’!
or
“Jerusalem, city and ornament of God’s martyrs!”
they shouted back.

He projected and raised his left hand.

‘There is much left to be discovered and much still unknown.
It is now time for
they
who will lead us to the beginning and to the root of immortality.
We will touch absolute power of our most revered Relic Smite
,

t

r
elated.

A short pause ensued as the lodge felt their
Master’s
lustful ecstasy.

‘A great secret has been kept.
It has been this way for hundreds of years by the silence and blood of our enemies. My brethren
,
we
have all taken solemn oaths of the fellowship.
Tonight we are nearing the end of our long journey
—the journey that
began before
even
time.
Once these forces are unleashed and in motion, no man will be able to stop
us
.
A new dawn will
be seen by all
,
and a new beginning.
These things cannot be undone
...

!

The Worshipful Master then opened a great book and read
from it
esoteric words of magic.
A silver pentangle was
embroidered
onto the black book
, which was
bound of human leather and
had
pages yellow with age.
Written in scarlet were
the
immortal words of magic and scratched in mortal sacrificial ink.
Gory teaching dipped in from the well of blood.
They were unfathomable and heart-rending esoteric teachings of the fellowship.

A large stone vessel was then passed between the thirteen members of the lodge
,
and each fellow member took a deep sacrificial draught.
To the palate
the drink
was bitter and to the lips and tongue
it brought
a taste of sweetness. Th
e
thick
,
slippery red fluid felt warm and burn
ed their innards
as it touched the stomach wall
.
T
heir minds became hazy and numb and
the members became
almost drunk
, transformed into an
insane state
although
though their minds and eyes
were
able to focus on
the Worshipful Master’s
drugged and
G
odly words.

The lodge
had
almost
gained
possession of one of the three
r
eliquiae
.
Its w
hereabouts
had been
discovered after divine direction
was
given in the olden scriptures
.
The
r
eliquiae dwelt secretly inside the bottomless catacombs
, they knew
.
And yet no one in th
e
lodge had ever seen it, not even the Grand Master
, al
though he knew of its hallowed presence.
Oh yes
,
he knew it was there.
A hidden energy brooded
within
.
