As one of the maids passed, Lacy took a beer from the tray. Glen looked surprised at her, but she pretended not to notice. He said to his friend from work, “Lacy can drink wine all day and not once look inebriated, but one glass of beer and she sounds like a stevedore!”

Lacy glared at him and raised the glass to her lips, slowly. Glen couldn’t believe she was going to ruin her own wedding by putting herself in such a bad light. Still holding the glass to her lips, it dawned on him what she wanted, and with a laugh, he took it from her. He leaned in close so only she could hear and said, “So, my little minx, you want to play?”

In a loud clear voice, Lacy said, “Give me my beer!”

Glen laughed again and said quietly, “I will,” and he poured it on her, shocking everyone and taking her breath away! The cold liquid accentuated the fact that she was not wearing a bra, soggy thin fabric outlining her bosoms and thinly veiling every aspect of her attributes. Glen was a little ashamed of himself for exposing her this way, but part of him delighted in the sight and her nipples pressing hard against the cloth. Yes, clearly she was excited!

Before she could really react, he grabbed her by the arm and headed for the stairs. More afraid he would hurt her if he continued to drag her, he grabbed her around the waist and carried her over his hip down to the dungeon, Lacy yelling her demand to be let go all the way.

Glen dropped her unceremoniously on the floor in front of the stocks and said, “Take off your dress.”

Now Lacy truly looked worried. Had she overplayed her part? She knew taking the beer would start a fight, and she knew he truly didn’t want her to drink beer, but she didn’t think he would go this far! She hadn’t moved a muscle while she considered all this, and suddenly, Glen’s hand was in front of her face. Instinctively, she took his hand and he spoke again, in measured tones that gave her no relief, “Remove your dress, or I’ll do it for you.”

Now shaking, Lacy untied the ribbon that held the bodice of her gown closed and slipped out of the velvet overdress. Her sleeves were already pushed up her arms due to the warm afternoon, and Glen placed her wrists in the stocks.

Their friends had gathered outside the room, and a hush fell on the crowd. They were not sure if this was part of the game or if Glen was truly angry with her. Many of them had heard him complain before when she drank beer, and some had actually seen it was true! The feeling, even among her own friends, was that Lacy had gone too far this time!

Glen told her to, “put your head here,” and closed the stocks, trapping his fiancé in the ancient device. Lacy was crying, but not a sound came from her. She really wasn’t sure how all this would come out. Glen came around and saw her tears and whispered in her ear, “Don’t you trust me?”

Her eyes searched his and she realized she was getting exactly what she wanted, but he was doing his part so well that she misunderstood. The tears kept flowing, but this time with the joy of knowing she was getting the right man for her at last!

Glen went behind her and raised her chemise to her neck, exposing her bare back. Glen announced, “I see my lady chose not to wear her knickers!”

Their friends pretended to be horrified, though snickers were heard among them. Since Lacy was facing them, they couldn’t see anything but her chemise draped in front of her, but the feeling of exposure and the comment he made all heightened her experience! She chuckled at the joke he told, because she was indeed wearing her knickers, but made a mental note to go without them sometime soon!

Glen took a flogger from the wall and began to lightly whack it across her bare back and bottom. The feeling of the fronds thumping on her skin, along with the atmosphere Glen provided with his acting, was delicious!

“Ow, ow, ow,” she cried, no longer convincing anyone that she wasn’t exactly where she wanted to be. After a while, the look on her face told the story in full, and Glen increased the intensity and Lacy took flight on her own chemistry. She no longer made any sounds other than contented moans.

“If you will excuse us,” Glen finally said, and the group smiled at him and left. Alone, at last, Glen wasn’t going to miss this opportunity to seal his fate with his lady. He went back behind her and pulled down those knickers, bringing a more emphatic moan from her lips. He teased her from behind, “Your pleasure pot is overflowing with honey, my love.”

Her moans were deeper now, and she arched her back to take in more of him. He massaged her from the inside, enjoying the pressure of her pleasure, as she had not one but two climaxes.

Soon he was close to his finish, and he wanted to make sure she had at least one more orgasm. He pulled back and rammed into her, hard, bringing a grunt from her lips, and the plea to, “Do it again!” He smiled behind her, and happily complied, sending them both over the edge.

The King and Queen and the bride and groom needed time to change into their other clothes. Robert went looking for them while Rose went to her room to get ready for the banquet.

Glen released Lacy from the stocks and carried her to the couch in the sitting room outside the cell. He sat and held her for a long time while she floated on the effects of his treatment. He had never seen anyone in this state, but Robert had warned him to take special care of her in this condition. “When a person is floating like that, they are in no condition to be left alone,” he had said. Clearly, it was true, because she could barely stand when he released her.

Glen was speaking softly to her, asking if she as all right, when Robert found them.

“How did it go?”

“I think I scared her,” he said. Then he looked up with wonderment on his face and said, “She initiated the fight the second time!”

Robert grinned, “Yes, I saw that. She took you by surprise for a minute, didn’t she?”

“She sure did,” Glen grinned back, “and I guess she thought I never did get it, because when I put her in the stocks, she honestly looked scared!”

Lacy was smiling at the conversation, though not yet ready to add anything. She had never been so very content in her life, and being discussed in this manner was merely interesting.

“Are you OK, now, Lacy? We really need to go get dressed, and woman,” he said with a big grin, “you need a shower! You stink of beer!”

“Whatever you say – my knight in shining armor!”

Since Lacy’s costume was utterly ruined during their play, Stephanie had to quickly come up with another dress for the banquet. There were plenty more costumes, but fitting her plumper figure was a bit of a challenge. She settled on one of the velvet over dresses that laced up the sides. With a fresh chemise and bloomers and a navy blue over dress, a freshly showered Lacy looked the part, once again, of the visiting Princess. “With the higher bodice holding you flatter, I think you look even prettier in this dress!”

Lacy grinned at Stephanie, smiling, nodding, and positively glowing!

Musketeer Drew came to collect and escort the Princess to the banquet hall. He handed her to her intended, Sir Glen, and the couple was seated. The King and Queen were already present, as were all of the couple’s personal friends. Drew was seated with Madeline and Gina.

Huge platters of food were brought to the table and the ale and wine flowed freely. Jesters from the Renaissance Troop entertained throughout the evening. Princess Lucia was smiling throughout the entire meal. Glen saw a whole new side to the woman he loved, and it was going to be an exciting venture!

He didn’t want to spoil such a wonderful evening by picking that third fight. There was no hurry, though. That could be handled later.

When the food was cleared, the musicians played dance music and the jesters instructed the guests on how the steps were done. Most were clumsy, but good sports and the dancing was great fun. Mostly they did simple dances that required no real skill or practice where any number of people could dance in circles and lines. Part of the troop demonstrated the more complex dances with four people and choreographed to perfection.

By the end of the evening, everyone was exhausted and the bride and groom to be were exhilarated! They even tried the complex dance steps!

They were at the door saying goodnight to all their friends, the last of them having left, when Lacy remarked to Glen that one of his friends seemed out of place.

“What do you mean?”

“Well, he didn’t know what to do with his hands when we danced.”

Glen was searching her face for a clue, but he didn’t remember her dancing with his friend at all!

“I think he had too much to drink,” she offered.

Not sure why she would pick apart a friend, Glen remembered his attack on her brother. Not inclined to fight with her over someone else, he answered, “I think you had too much to drink!”

Then he saw it - that glimmer of triumph - she was playing! “Really, sir, how dare you!”

Glen answered in a voice so low she barely heard him, “You will see how I dare!” Bidding goodnight and bowing courteously to the King and Queen, they made their way to the bedchamber without another word.

Once inside, Glen took his dame in hand and kissed her passionately. He told her to strip while her knees threatened to fail her and had to help her out of the dress. Then he took her over his knee and spanked her bare bottom with his hand. Being new at this, he hardly spanked her hard enough to affect her the way she hoped, so she sassed him some more. “How dare you spank me?” she said, trying to sound indignant.

Glen surprised her again, this time by not taking the bait. “This afternoon you called me Master. Tonight you show me no respect. Your punishment is that you will sleep on the floor until you learn your place, Missy!”

“But, Glen! I thought you knew we were playing!”

Silently Glen readied himself for bed and threw a pillow on the floor for his wife to be.

She was so overjoyed at the afternoon’s events and the evening, too, and now she worried she overplayed her part. Lacy was on the verge of tears and Glen felt like a heel.

He rolled over in the bed and looked at her standing there. “Perhaps, just perhaps, if my lady were truly sorry and willing to please her Master, she could think of something…”

Lacy flew at him. “Yes Master! Anything my Master wants – command me, Master!”

Morning came early, and the couple slept very little. Glen learned that spanking requires a much firmer hand. He was amazed at how hard he had to spank her to bring the desired effect! He was thrilled, too, that she really meant it when she said she would do anything for her Master.

The ladies-in-waiting were there early to tend to the Princess and the Queen. Rose asked if Stephanie had been able to make the hat she’d asked for. She’d done a green top hat with a veil to match a hunter green velvet dress with white chemise. “I sent them to Joan’s room as you requested.” They both hoped she would join the wedding ceremony. “I also made what’s called a horned headdress in eggplant to match your gown. It has gold trim and a veil. For the bride, I made a wreath of wildflowers with streaming ribbons.”

Downstairs, everyone was busy. Breakfast trays were sent up to the rooms for the bridal party. Everyone was bustling about with much to do.

Their minister dressed as the Bishop was standing at the front of the room next to Sir Glen. The two ladies-in-waiting came next and stepped to the side. Finally, Musketeer Drew escorted Princess Lucia down the aisle. It was a beautiful sight, and the ‘Bishop’ did a wonderful job in his speech to the couple, advising that, “above all, love and respect will see you both through whatever comes along. I now pronounce you Knight and Lady – and man and wife, for the legal stuff! You may now kiss the bride!”

They didn’t need to be told twice. The couple posed for a few pictures taken by their friends, then left the Throne room for the lawn where more pictures were taken. The wedding feast took place back in the banquet hall, and many toasts were made for the happy couple.

Chapter 19

After everyone left and the troop had packed all their gear, Rose collapsed into the chair next to Robert’s desk. A single glance told her she’d forgotten herself. “I’m sorry, Master, that wasn’t very ladylike, was it?”

“No, my dear.”

“I am more tired than I expected. Did you see Joan came to the wedding?”

“I did. It was good of you to draw her out. She is healing well, isn’t she?”

“Her body is healing, but she’s still a scared rabbit. Those scars will take a lot longer, I think.”

“Her escort will be here in a few days to take her to her new home. She has her papers and she understands what comes next.”

“I know,” Rose answered. “She told me you talked about her getting her strength back both mentally as well as physically. She’s truly grateful that you took her in, sir.”

Robert nodded, and Rose got up to leave. “Are you going somewhere?”

“I think I am disturbing you, sir.”

Robert turned toward her and said, “Never.” He smiled and put his arms out to her and slid her onto his lap. “You make me proud, Rose. You have taken this business to a new level with this wedding!”

“I’ll second that,” Drew said as he entered the room. “By the way, the Renaissance Troop is hoping to come back next year!”

Rose felt herself blushing at the compliments, but she couldn’t be more pleased. She looked into the face she had grown to love so much and saw that Master Robert was also tired. She stroked his brow for a moment and smiled.

“There are a few things I need to tell you, Rose. The first is that you no longer need to work.” He watched the confusion hit her. “Your bank accounts are back in your own name. That’s why I had you sign a Power of Attorney – I found several accounts that your sister had in your old name.”

“At the rate she bought things, I doubted that she had saved anything. Thank you for fixing that, sir.” Delighted, of course, she felt strangely sad at the idea of leaving the manor.

Master Robert watched intently for any tell-tale signs and continued, “So, should I tear up your contract, my dear?” She looked lost in thought. “There’s something else I should tell you.”
