They make love slowly, for the next two hours. Each time Ryker felt himself approaching orgasm he would slow, or stop, until the feeling passed, neither wanting to end the give and take of pleasure.

As they approach the three hour mark since Hargraves phone call, Ronnie gasps as yet another small orgasm passes through her and she giggles for the sixth time. Despite their slow and easy pace, Ryker is dripping sweat, his breathing hard, but he is like a machine, his pace only varying slightly except when he is battling for control. But she needs more. She can feel an orgasm lurking. A
huge
one, looming in the distance. As sweet and nice as these little orgasms are, she wants the mother lode that is lurking.

He slows to a stop once again, taking the opportunity to wipe his face. His need to stop is becoming more and more frequent, the stops longer in duration until he can gather his control. He opens his eyes and looks into Ronnie’s beautiful face… and she smiles.

“I want you to fuck me hard Ryker. I want you to make me come so hard,” she whispers. “I want you to make me come so fucking hard. Make me come, Ryker. You make me come.”

He smiles at her. She is the most incredibly sexy woman he has ever met, her breathy begging for him to satisfy her forces him hold his hips still even longer. But two can play this game… he hopes.

“You want me to fuck you Ronnie? You want to get fucked? You want me to hold you down and fuck you?”

“Yes… fuck me. Fuck me hard,” she moans.

“You want to scream like this morning Ronnie? You want me to make you scream?”

“Yes. Make me scream. Please make me scream.” She begins to thrust her hips, trying to get Ryker to start, his words winding her up. She is such a
slut!

He begins to move, even slower than he was, teasing her. “Beg for it, Ronnie. Beg me to fuck you.”

She whimpers, her excitement beginning to overwhelm her. “Please Ryker. Please fuck me hard.”

He slams his hips into her as hard as he can, but only once, holding himself deep inside. “That the way you want it Ronnie?” Ryker realizes that while what he is saying seems to be turning Ronnie’s crank, he is turning his own as well.

“Yes. More.”

Ryker tucks in tight, lifting her legs and pushing them back with his arms behind her knees before taking her hands and pinning them to bed. Then he begins to move, slowly at first but steadily increasing the speed and the power of this thrust.

Ronnie groans. Once again he has her pinned to the bed—the first time tonight he has held her down like this. As he begins to thrust harder and faster she pushes against him with her legs, pulls at his grip with her arms. But he is too strong…

He drives into her as hard and fast as he can. He’s going to come, and soon, but the way she is moving and gasping, straining to escape his grasp as she moans, he suspects she is getting close. Now it’s a race… an erotic race to see who comes first.

Ronnie snaps her eyes open at Ryker grunts—the breathy grunt of him fighting his orgasm. As she watches he grimaces and grunts again, shaking his head in denial, sweat flying from his hair, dripping from his arms and face. He sneers at her, his eyes narrowing as his face twists in passion. A hard shudder passes through him and he shakes his head again, his sweat falling like rain. He is giving her everything, holding nothing back… and she falls.

She suddenly pushes so hard against him with her legs that he loses his grip on her arms. Arms free she seizes him around the neck and pulls savagely hard, dragging herself up until she is clasped tightly to him. “Don’t stop,” she grunts in his ear, thrusting frantically.

Having her tie him up in an intimate embrace is more than Ryker can stand. With a hard grunt he releases his locked arms and drives her shoulders down into the bed, wrapping her in his own crushing embrace, his hips thrusting madly a moment longer before he becomes still.

They lie together, panting, still, saying nothing. A shiver passes through Ryker, causing him to shudder with a gasp. And Ronnie begins to giggle.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

“Evans, I have your new orders here,” Hargraves says, tapping his finger on the paper on his desk. Even though it is face down, Ryker can make out enough to know it is some type of deployment order. That’s not a good sign. It was a deployment order just like this one that sent him to Lebanon.

“Before I give you your orders I want to let you know that your Achievement Medal has been approved. Normally your commanding officer would present you with your medal, but you are being redeployed immediately from here and will not be reporting back to Little Creek.”

“Sir,” Ryker protests. “This is highly irregular!”

“I understand your disappointment, but this mission is critical. This will be a long term deployment and the Navy assures me that they will assist you in every way possible to ease your transition to your new duty station.”

“Sir?”

“I’m sorry, Ryker, but as of this moment, you are no longer an active duty SEAL.”

Ryker at first gets the sinking feeling of impending doom, but that is quickly followed by a flash of white hot rage. After all he has done for the fucking Navy, for them to treat him like this! Ryker snaps to attention. “Sir! Yes sir!” That has just made his decision easy. Fuck the Navy then! He and Ronnie can be together.

“At ease, Evans,” Hargraves commands, and Ryker falls into a stiff parade rest. Hargraves steps around Ryker and opens his door. As expected, Dr. Baker is standing in the hall. “Dr. Baker, would you step into my office a moment?”

Ronnie smiles and enters Hargraves office, her smile quickly disappearing when she sees Ryker staring stiffly ahead, his jaw muscles working hard. Ronnie can feel a cold hand squeezing her heart. Something terrible has happened!

Hargraves steps behind his desk and pulls a citation and small box from a drawer. “I thought you would like to hear this, Dr. Baker,” he says casually. Hargraves clears his throat and begins to read from the citation…

“Department of the Navy. This is to certify that the Secretary of the Navy has awarded the Navy and Marine Achievement Medal--Gold Star in lieu of Second Award--to Petty Officer First Class Ryker Evans for…”

Ronnie watches Ryker as Hargraves recounts the details of receiving the medal. He stands stiff-necked, his eyes staring straight ahead as Hargraves reads. When Hargraves finishes, he extends the box and his hand to Ryker. Ryker takes both, but his face never changes.

“Excellent job, Petty Officer. Congratulations.”

“Thank you, sir,” Ryker mutters through gritted teeth.

“So you know, Dr. Baker, Petty Officer Evans is no longer an active duty SEALs and will…” Hargraves begins.

“What?” Ronnie shouts. “You can’t do that!”

“I’m sorry Dr. Baker, but this  isn’t up to me. However, I happen to agree with the orders. Evans has made a fine SEAL and is a credit to the uniform, but his skillset is needed elsewhere.”

“Colonel Hargraves! This isn’t right! Without Ryker I wouldn’t be here! My Dad wouldn’t be here! He doesn’t deserve to be treated like this!”

“I understand, Dr. Baker. But this is the military and we do as we are told.” Hargraves returns to behind his desk and picks up the piece of paper and begins to read.

“Petty Officer Evan. At eighteen-hundred today you are to board an Air Force C-20B that will ferry you directly to Berkeley, California. Immediately upon boarding you are to assume your new duty as security detail for Dr. Veronica Nicole Baker. Her safety is your primary and only concern. You are to perform this task at all times, to the best of your abilities, until such time you are relieved.” Hargraves looks up from the paper. “Are your orders clear, Petty Officer?”

“Sir?” Ryker asks, unsure of what has just happened.

“I asked if you orders are clear, Petty Officer.”

“Yes sir. Crystal.”

Hargraves steps around his desk again and offers his hand to Ryker once more. “Good luck on you new assignment. I wouldn’t say this about just anyone, but you would have made a damn fine Marine. It has been a privilege serving with you.”

Ryker shakes the Colonel’s hand enthusiastically this time. “And you, sir. Thank you!”

“Don’t thank me. Thank Spreck. I don’t know who that guy is, but he has some serious pull. Dr. Baker, you and Petty Officer Evans are to report to Mr. Spreck immediately after leaving this office. I believe he has some news about your lab.”

“Permission to speak freely, Colonel?”

“Granted.”

“What of Julian? Am I responsible for him as well?”

“No. He is being assigned his own security detail. Your sole responsibility is to this Dr. Baker. We don’t want a repeat performance of this, so defense is being a little more proactive. My understanding is that your research material is being transferred to a new, secured lab facility right now. But Mr. Spreck will fill you in on all the details.”

“Thank you Colonel,” Ronnie says softly, her eyes bright with tears.

“Keep her safe Ryker.”

“I will sir. Thank you.”

“Dismissed.”

Hargraves watches as Ryker snaps to an attention so rigidly that he’s surprised there's no sound of bones cracking.

Ryker returns a salute sharp enough to shave with before pivoting on his toe and walking out of the office, an active SEAL no more and forever by Ronnie's side.
