Becca stepped out of the elevator while rearranging her purse on her shoulder. This woman had his libido tied up in knots. She even made fidgeting sexy.

“I have a surprise for you,” he said as he followed her through the foyer.

“Really?” She stared at him in wonder.

He loved being the one who put that look of astonishment on her face. He had done it before—in the elevator—and he wanted to continue doing it for a long time.

Jordan hesitated. That wasn’t his original plan, but at this moment, her expression changed everything. It was no longer about proving his prowess. The last four days had proved just how much he enjoyed her in his life, wanted her in his life. It wasn’t just his libido she had tied up in knots—it was his heart. Which made today even more important. He was determined to make her finally cave. With a tilt of his head he motioned toward the concourse. “Come with me.”

He led her down the escalator, through the dim hallway that led to the parking garage elevators on the lower concourse.

“If I didn’t already know you, now would be about the time I turned and ran for dear life.” She followed him with caution. “Where are we going?”

“Right here.” He stopped in front of a room marked
Private
.

She stared at the door in confusion.

“Are you now employed by the building?

Otherwise we’re not allowed in there.”

Jordan reached for the handle and turned, opening the gray steel door. “I think it’ll be okay.”

He entered first and flicked on the lights. Becca followed hesitantly, and when she crossed the threshold of the doorway, she gasped. “You did this for me?”

Leading her by the hand, Jordan pulled her farther into the storeroom. He closed the door and turned the tiny piece of metal on the handle and locked them inside.

“I can’t believe you did this,” she said breathlessly.

Neither could he. In the middle of the room sat a round table covered with a white tablecloth, flowers sat on the far edge, and two paper cups filled with their favorite morning beverages sat on either side.

Jordan rested against the locked door, his chest swelling with accomplishment. Becca took in the space, her bottom lip practically skimmed the ground, and she had one hand resting against her chest.

“I thought we could take a few minutes to get to know each other,” he said.
Among other things.

Becca let out a hard breath and took a seat at the table. “Jordan, I like you.”

She spoke as if the words hurt her physically.

“And that’s a bad thing?” He stepped closer to the table.

“I’m not supposed to like you. We had stranger sex in an elevator. With an audience.” She spoke as if she still couldn’t believe they had been so reckless. It wasn’t like they knew about the security cameras. And who knew elevator shafts had such good acoustics?

“I won’t lie, you’ve been the object of my fantasies for a very long time, but that’s all you are. All you can be. Just a fantasy.”

Like hell.
Jordan clenched his hands into fists at his sides. He desperately wanted to kiss away her reasoning, to scoop her up in his arms and show her just how real things could be. But Becca had more to say. “I like the idea of us having a secret smirk every time we see each other.

I like seeing you every morning and wondering what color your boxers are that day. If we get involved that will all change. Don’t ruin the fantasy for me, Jordan.”

“Maybe the reality is better than the fantasy.” Jordan fiddled with the vase on the table. He believed that, and he desperately needed Becca to believe that too.

“And this isn’t a fantasy? Who does this?” She pointed at the table. “What man sets up a utility closet to lure a woman into his bed?”

“Technically, I’m not luring you into my bed but rather my office. The place doesn’t matter. You just need to say yes.”

He dropped onto his knees on the ground in front of her. “And to answer your question, I do this kind of thing. I can’t stop thinking about you. I can’t stop wondering how good it would be the second time. You were a fantasy for me too, but now that I’ve had the reality, I won’t go back.” Jordan stopped short, surprised at his possessive words. He wanted this, wanted Becca. This has become more than just a game.

He leaned up and captured her lips in a kiss. He cupped her cheeks with both hands, expecting to use force to keep her lips pressed to his. Instead she opened for him and let him explore the warm cavern of her mouth.

He let his hand fall to her shoulder and pulled her purse from her arm, dropping it on the ground beside them. It was a lot easier than he had expected, getting her to drop her guard and give in to his seduction, but despite the stiffness in his pants that desperately begged for release, he had a plan, and he was going to follow it.

His hand inched farther up her leg, stopping just before he reached the juncture between her thighs.

She whimpered when his finger swiped over the heated fabric of her pants. He let his hand stay there, rubbing up and down with his knuckles. She spread her legs wider.

“Tell me you don’t want this,” he whispered against her lips. She didn’t have to answer; her eyes demanded more.

Jordan leaned in for a kiss, this time deepening his actions. “Tell me you don’t think about us going a second round.” He grabbed the legs of the chair, pulling it closer so that her center was flush against his abdomen. Instinctively, she rubbed against him, heating his body with the fire that burned between her legs.

Her hands began to roam up and down his arms, over his chest, down his abdomen.

“Are you sure this is something you don’t want to pursue?” he whispered.

She moaned. “We can’t.”

“Your eyes say yes.” Jordan traced her bottom lip with his finger, then nipped at it with his lips. “Your hands say yes.”

He covered her hand as it rested on his chest. “I bet if I stuck my hand down your pants, your pussy would say yes too.”

A small whimper escaped her mouth and she covered his lips with her own. He hated breaking their contact, especially when she had finally given in, but Jordan needed to bring his plan home.

“I know you’re wet for me. I can smell you even with your pants on. So sweet.”

Jordan rose and bent forward, his body hovering over hers as she sat in the chair. He eased her back, resting her body against the plastic, then trailed his forefinger down her neck, over her breasts, across her stomach, and finally settled between her legs.

Her breath hitched. He hadn’t planned to bring her release—his intention to leave her begging for more with no choice but to return with him to his office —but she looked so close to tipping over the edge. He wanted to see her face as her body shook with pleasure just from the movement of a single finger.

He nuzzled her neck as his right hand cupped her mound. “I think you like what I’m doing.”

She nodded. It looked as though she wanted to speak but couldn’t get out the words.

“You like it, but you won’t let me have you again.”

“It’s...” Her breath hitched with every movement of his fingers against her mound. They circled and rubbed over the thin fabric of her pants. “We shouldn’t...”

He decided to call her bluff and play one of his own. “I should get you all worked up, then stop just as you’re about to release.”

Her eyes widened and she answered in short breaths, “Please don’t stop.”

He increased the speed of his fingers against her. Her clit swelled and pulsed beneath the fabric. Her kissed her neck, peppering light nips against her creamy skin. Her hairline glistened with sweat, her moans grew louder, and a growl vibrated in her throat.

“Are you ready to come for me?” he whispered in her ear.

She let her head fall back as she shivered. The urge to rip off her pants and plunge balls-deep into her hot, wet opening was overwhelming, but he rid himself of the thought and concentrated on her beautiful face.

“Jordan.” Becca moaned his name over and over again, until she tensed. Her entire body rocked, one giant convulsion taking over as she embraced the waves of pleasure pulsing through her body. She responded to his touch so quickly, her orgasms so hard, it was a beautiful thing to behold.

He kissed her, soft and slow, and she melted against him, her body limp from her orgasm.

As much as he wanted to continue the action, part of his plan was to keep Becca on her toes, leave her wanting more.

Hiding out in this closet for the rest of the day wasn’t going to get her to his office any sooner. “We should get to work.”

Becca groaned. He stood up and grabbed her drink and flowers. It took her a couple of seconds to regroup, but she finally stood and straightened her clothes, picked up her purse from the floor, and swung it over her shoulder.

When they emerged from their hidden spot, Becca stepped out into the hall with a dazed but oh so satisfied look on her face.

Jordan leaned on the frame of the door—confident in his plan of action— giving her his best I-want-to-fuck-you stare. The wanton look radiating in her eyes didn’t help his own need for release he had been experiencing for almost two weeks.

He curved one finger toward her, motioning for her to step closer, and then he whispered, “If I can make you come with one hand, imagine what I can do with my whole body.”

Her jaw dropped, but she remained composed. It was do-or-die time, and Jordan was pulling out all the stops.

Cheesy pickup lines didn’t seem to be working for him. Maybe she would respond to dirty.

Despite his best efforts, Becca still did not visit his office that day.

Chapter Five
Friday

Traffic had been a battle that morning and Jordan was running a little late. He probably missed Becca while she was on her way to get her morning caffeine fix, but he knew he’d still be able to catch her on her way back up to her office. He leaned against the wall, resting one foot on the tile, folding his arms across his chest.

A couple of minutes later he heard the click of high heels in the distance. He turned to the entryway just as black knee-high boots approached him. His eyes followed the black stockings as they disappeared under flowing black fabric that skimmed the middle of her thigh. The dress wrapped around curvy hips and draped low on the bustline, revealing the swell of familiar breasts. Dark ringlets fell loosely down to her shoulders. Her eyes were dark. Not just in color but in decoration—black lined her lids, then softened into a smoky gray shadow. Her lips were colored a deep red, blood red.

They had the slightest shine. So kissable.

So perfect to be wrapped around his cock.

Becca’s appearance was a surprise.

A beautiful, unexpected, sexy surprise.

She broke out the sex kitten today.
On
purpose?
Did she make herself even
more appealing out of spite?

She approached, finally stopping only a foot away. It didn’t come as a surprise when she placed one finger under his chin to close his gaping mouth.

Jordan surveyed her again from head to toe, and when he finally returned to her face, he couldn’t help the single word that escaped his mouth. “Wow.”

He watched the color change in her face.

“Rebecca?” A deep, hearty voice called to her from behind.

Jordan peeked around her shoulder and saw a man, tall, blond, and confident.

Tall, blond, and creepy.

She turned to see who was calling and smiled at the man as he approached.

But Jordan noticed a difference in the way she looked at him. Her eyes still sparkled but the sparkle was friendly, no lust seeping through the dark brown pools, no heat burning through her gaze. Although this guy sidled up to her and rested his hand on the small of her back, Jordan wasn’t jealous. Nope. Not at all. Not one tiny bit.

“Are we going up?” the stranger asked.

“Yes,” she croaked. Becca had to clear her throat to get out the words. She returned her gaze to Jordan, and her eyes moved up and down his body before she spoke again. “I’ve got to get going.”

He nodded. Blond guy gave him a snarky glare before he turned and led her into the elevator.
Jerk-off!

Jordan shook his head in disappointment. He didn’t even get to use his line.

***

That afternoon, Jordan checked his e-mail for the hundredth time. Two weeks. It had been two weeks since his steamy encounter with Becca in the elevator.

He ran his mouse across the pad, clicking and reclicking, trying his best to focus on something, anything other than Becca.

He hoped she would call, e-mail, send a carrier pigeon. Something to indicate that he wasn’t the only one jonesing for another taste. He promised her a taste. He hoped like hell that she would cash in.

All week he had tried to break down her resistance. At first, his ego led the charge, wanting her for another quickie in his office. But by Thursday, he realized that his day felt complete when he spoke to her, even if for only a minute. So this morning, he had set to work with the intent of making her see that he wasn’t just looking for another elevator romp. But he never even got to use his line.

Jordan was drawn to her vulnerability. Where other men might think she was easy, having sex with a stranger in a crisis situation, he knew there was more to her motives.

A soft voice coming from the intercom caught his attention. “Mr. Murphy. There is a Ms. Clarke here to see you.” He wasn’t expecting anyone. “She doesn’t have an appointment but she insists that you will see her. Rebecca Clarke?”

“Rebecca?”

“Yes, sir. Should I send her away?”

“No!” Jordan jumped out of his seat.

“I’ll be right there.” He smoothed down his tie and ran his fingers through his hair while rushing for the door to his office.

When he reached his secretary’s desk, the two ladies were engaged in casual conversation. Becca leaned against the high desk, her body cruelly covered up by a coat. The fragrant scent of coffee and the subtle scent of her perfume swirled in the air around him, taking him back to that day in the elevator and the mind-blowing sex they had shared. When she noticed him, she straightened her body, tugging at the belt of her coat. Her eyes blazed with desire, sending a wave of heat in his direction.
