“Hello is this Infamous Hendrix?” the caller
asked.

“Who wants to know and why are you blowing
up my phone?”

“Mr. Hendrix this is Detective Malone and
I’m calling because there was an accident in a home here in Houston
and your mother’s belongings were found but she is not here. One
person is dead and your mother is missing. We have found two
different types of blood in the room and it appears to have been a
struggle. When was the last time you spoke with your mother?”

My heart rate sped up and anger filled my
face. I had to ponder on the question that was asked before I
spoke, “Detective it has been one week since I spoke to my mother
and she was supposed to be out of the country.”

“The home that we are at is in your mother’s
name and no she was not out of the country. One of the neighbors
said that they saw a strange vehicle leaving the premises and I
think they have your mother. Has she been acting suspicious? Was
she involved in any strange activities? Do you know if anyone wants
to hurt your mother?”

“I don’t know shit and while you’re
questioning me you could be looking for my mother fucking momma,” I
screamed as I slammed my hand on the table knocking my plate onto
the floor.

“You better find whoever did this before I
do or it’s will be more than just that one homicide on your hands,”
I threatened.

I hung up the phone and sat still off in a
daze. Why the fuck did he have to go after my momma? She’s my pride
and joy; I’m killing everything he loves since he wants to play
with me. Myst stood up from her seat then walked over to stand in
front of me and wrapped her arms around me. I buried my face into
her stomach as a few tears dropped from my eyes. She stood there
quiet giving me a chance to get myself together. Once I was done
she asked who was it that had done this because she can help.

I told her that we had street beef with
Danger and if she can’t help me with finding the info I need on all
his loved ones then her services are not needed. She reached for
the phone and gave Lala a call then looked to me and said done. A
few moments later she received an email and his whole family tree
displayed on the screen. I placed a call to Legend to give him the
dreaded news. As expected he took it hard and said he was on his
way home.

Chapter 25

Legend

That phone call that I received from
Infamous tore my heart apart. These niggas want to fuck with my
momma. It’s really on now. Beautiful offered me all the support she
could but I didn’t want that shit. My momma is missing. I wanted
blood!

“Legend I have our bags packed so we’re
ready to go when you are.”

“Thanks beautiful, I just need to stop by
Mr. Gomez’s place so that I can tell him what’s going on and inform
him that we are leaving.”

We gathered as many of our bags as we could
then loaded them into the car. As we were headed back into the
house to retrieve the last of our bags Mr. Gomez pulled up to the
curb. Mr. Gomez hopped out the back of the limo before it even came
to a stop. He ran up to me and gripped me by the collar.

“Ju need to find me wife. Why ju no handle
your beesness before you leave country? No true leader leaves the
home in the middle of a war.”

“What the fuck are you talking about Mr.
Gomez and what does your wife have to do with my business.”

“Your mother is mi wife and ju and ju
brother are my sons.”

At that moment my world stopped, my
breathing sped up and Dark came out to play. I didn’t even know
what happened but Mr. Gomez was picking himself off of the ground.
I hit him so hard that a big red lump formed on top of his forehead
instantly. The only reason I did not continue to beat his ass was
because of the respect I once had and the fact that he could have
me killed at any time. Mr. Gomez reach is far and long, further
than what I could even imagine. “What the hell do you mean you are
my father? You mean to tell me that all of this time I have
wondered why my father abandoned me and you knew all along. So you
are telling me that you didn’t feel the need to tell me this after
all of this time. You watched my mother in the streets trying to
take care of us and you did nothing. What type of man are you?”

“First off Legend if ju ever lay ju hands on
mi again I will snap your fucking neck. The only reason ju get a
pass is because I understand ju frustrations. Ju mother and I did
not tell you to protect ju and ju brother. Your mother never had a
reason to be in the streets. She made the choice and I could not
stop her. Ju know what type of woman ju mother is. The reason we
did not tell ju and ju brother was to protect ju. I have a lot of
enemies and I needed to keep ju and ju brother and mother safe. Ju
need to leave immediately and get mi wife back. Ju have one week or
I’m going to step in and sweep the whole city.”

I guess Mr. Gomez was through speaking his
piece because with that he turned and headed to the limo.

He stopped suddenly then spoke, “I am
sending two of ju cousins with you. They are very skilled and will
be a great asset to ju team. Rico and Pablo will be in the states
when you get there.”

“I didn’t ask for any help from you. I got
this under control dad… or is that something you don’t want me to
call you.”

“I did not ask ju Legend if you want me to
send them with ju. They are coming and ju will accept them with
hospitality plus if ju had things under control then ju mother
would be safe. Ju can call me whatever ju like but until ju find mi
wife ju and I have no more to talk about.”

His words were a low blow and I wanted to
kill him but he was right. If I had things under control them my
momma would be okay. It’s time to refresh these niggas memories as
to what GMB will do when crossed.

The plane landed at ten pm at DFW airport.
Infamous and Myst both were in two separate cars waiting for us as
we walked out of the door. Pablo and Rico were both standing
outside of their car waiting for me.
“Hello Legend, nice to see ju again.” Rico greeted.

“Long time no see Legend. I hate we have to
see ju under these circumstances,” said Pablo.

“It’s good to see both of you too. Follow me
and Infamous to our warehouse.”

“Si, si, we are right behind ju Legend,”
they both uttered.

I gave Trutice a long kiss and we both went
our separate ways to our cars.

“Infamous what type of info do you
have?”

“Legend I have the drop on his whole family.
Even his wife.”

“Infamous what the hell do you mean wife. So
you mean to tell me he has a wife.” “That’s exactly what I’m saying
Legend. Not only does he have a wife, he has three children with
her.”

“Where did you get your info Infamous? Are
you sure?”

“Yes I am sure and I didn’t get the info
bro. Myst called up Lala and she got it all for me in under five
minutes. Those are some bad bitches’ bro. We got to keep them on
our side.”

“Yes indeed Infamous, yes indeed. So did you
know that Mr. Gomez is our father and that him and mom are
married?”

“Yes Legend, I knew. I wasn’t one hundred
percent but I knew. I could look at you two and see the resemblance
and since we look so much alike I knew he was my father too. One
day I was snooping and I found their marriage certificate. Momma
came in and busted me so I didn’t get to snoop any further. She
told me to keep quiet and never tell a soul because it could cause
us to be killed so I never said a word.”

We were riding interstate thirty five headed
towards South Dallas when suddenly an all-black suburban sped up to
the side of us, slowed down to look in our car, and then took off.
The suburban switched to the right lane in front of us. Another
suburban pulled in the rear then two more pulled on both sides. The
suburban in front slammed on the breaks and we tried to swerve to
keep from hitting them but we couldn’t because we were boxed
in.

I had already taken my fifty cals out of the
holster then loaded one into the chambers. I let down the window
then started shooting at those fools. Infamous had already done the
same. One shot hit the driver on my side in the head and in the
shoulder. The car started swerving into the other lanes at full
speed. Bullets were flying into the car and out of the car on a
mission to kill and destroy. I wondered was the rest of my team
okay but I couldn’t get a good look.

Infamous had killed the passenger on his
side but there was still someone in the back of the suburban
shooting. I saw a car speed up on the side of the suburban and let
an AK go. The bullets ripped through the side of the vehicle
killing everyone in the truck. The truck sped up then did a few
flips before it caught on fire. The other two suburban’s sped off
trying to get away from the scene but the car shot off behind them.
The gunshots had to have rang for approximately two minutes before
it finally had come to a halt.

I looked over to Infamous to see if he was
okay. There was blood leaking from his shoulder and he appeared to
be going in and out of consciousness but other than that he
appeared to be okay. Infamous head dropped and I knew he had
blacked out. I tried to catch the steering wheel before we crashed
but I was a second too late. The car hit a curb and the impact from
the curb sent us flying into the air. The car flipped over then
slid into a pole. My head hit the dashboard, I smelled smoke then
everything went black.
