     “No
. B
aby, I couldn’t even look at another girl.  You were on my mind constantly,” he said as he brought my hand to his lips.  “You are my life
,
Mil, always.”

     “I’ve decided on a major.”

     “Oh
,
yea
h
, what is it?”

     “Elementary education
, it’ll be perfect for when we have kids.  I’ll get to work with children and still be on our kids schedule as well
,” I said smiling.

     “That sounds perfect to me
.
I think you’ll be great at it.”

“I’m so ready to start our life together.  These next
two
mo
nths are going to take forever.  I feel like I’ve been waiting forever to be with you.”

     “I know
,
but just think, in two
and a
half months, we get to spend every single day and night together (he winked) for the rest of our lives.”

     “I know
.
I can’t wait.”

“Forever,” he said as he stopped and pulled me into him
.

     “Forever
,
it is,” I said
right before
the most romantic kiss
I’ve ever had.

Epilogue

     “I can’t
freaking believe Cash sprung for this!
Fiji rocks!”
Jess said as we lay on the beach.

     “I know
.
I can’t believe we’re all here together to watch you guys get married.  I’m so happy for you
,
Millie
.  “Y
ou deserve it,” Cara said rubbing sunscreen on her shoulders.

“Thanks guys, this means so much to me that
you’re
both here and that
you’re
both my brides maids.”

We soaked up the Fiji sun and got great tans while the guys went deep sea fishing.  My mom and Mary were getting massages at the spa.

At seven o’clock that evening at sunset, I
,
accompanied by my dad, met Cash at the end of a pink rose covered
a
isle on the beach.  Jess and Cara
by
my side in
strapless, knee length dresses in the lightest shade of purple I could find.
I was dressed in a strapless white gown that was so
transparent
,
I had to wear a slip underneath it.  It had a cinched waist with a piece of purple satin ribbon.  I felt beautiful with my hair up and the only jewelry I had on was the
silver
ring Cash gave me at Christmas with his name on it.

Eli and Jake stood beside Cash.  Both were dressed like Cash in khaki pants and white button down shirt with sage green ties.  Yes, I made him wear the tie.  I did give him the opportunity to pick the color, he chose green.  When I made it to the end of the
a
isle and we faced each other, I could tell he looked nervous so I asked him, “Are you alright?”

     “I am now
.

H
e smiled and I knew he was.

     We said traditional vow
s
looking deep into each other’s eyes.  It felt so complete, this astronomical moment.

     “I love you
,
sweetheart.”

     “I love you
,
too.”

When the minister told Cash to kiss his bride, he really showed out and dipped me.  I think he only did it to try and embarrass me, which it did, but when I came back up and looked at the crowd, I realized that I was officially Mrs. Cash
Davis
.  Everyone we loved was here with us and witnessed the most important moment in my life so far.

      Looking back, I realize
one of my favorite moments from our wedding
,
was when we said our vows.  Even though we said traditional vows out loud and everyone there heard us, it was like we said them in secret.
It was almost like we knew something the people that were witnessing us didn’t
,
because forever actually meant forever with us.

Acknowledgments

I would like to thank all of my friends that actually read this book and boosted my ego enough to keep me going.  To
my friends Carol,
Mandee
, and Nicole, thanks for reading one or four chapters
at a time
to give me your thoughts
and
encouraging responses.
I appreciate everything you did to help me.  I would also like to thank my handsome cousin, T.J. Moss and my beautiful friend
,
Laur
en
Jiles
for being on the cover and spending a couple of fun hours with
me and
my sisters
to
take photos.

I have to thank my sister Candace for taking time out of
her
busy schedule to take the cover photo and talking books with me.  Also, I want to thank my sister Carla, the genius that gave me my title.  For some reason, I could write a whole story about Cash and Millie, but couldn’t think of one word for the title, my sister could.
Without these two, there may have only been a couple of chapters.  You will never know how much I love getting those calls from you begging for more chapters!

Last, but not least, I want to thank my family.  Thank you for being patient and supportive as I embarked on a really cool dream I didn’t know I had until I was thirty-two years old.
