Finally Ian said, “Um, Kitty, I appreciate this emotional scene you’ve got going but…” he groaned, “…I’m dying here.”

Rue sniffled but managed to hold it in from then on.

Immediately after Pastor Sweetlow said, “I now pronounce you man and wife,” Rue went to work on her husband.

It took everything she had in her to reset his ribs and mend the puncture in his lung, but after that she had a little energy left to repair the rest of the damage done to his body in the fall.

* * * * *

As the blue glow faded Rue fainted and it was Ian’s turn to catch her. Dillon helped them to a padded outdoor chair. With tenderness Ian cradled his wife’s head, stroking his thumb over her brows and kissing her sleeping face more than a few times. Reluctantly, he looked up from her and found Stan.

“Sheriff,” he said, “can you do me a favor and arrest Faye? I smelled that scent blocker from the bombing and the dead cat incident on her hands when Dillon brought me up the aisle. That same odor was on the wind when the stalker knocked me off the cliff. I’ll bet she’s got clothes drenched in it in her trunk.”

Faye, who looked quite pretty in a white dress, made a run for it. Which proved she was a bitch, and not in the complimentary wolfen way. Who outside of the bride wore white to a wedding? Not that anyone could outshine his kitty, but the attempt to upstage Rue ticked Ian off. He couldn’t figure out what power hungry madness had turned a woman he’d once trusted as his third-in-command into his enemy.
Did she want to lead the pack that badly?
Ian wasn’t sure he cared anymore.

Lennox appeared out of nowhere and clotheslined the she-wolf. Faye slammed backwards into the ground. “I wasn’t trying to hurt Ian. Not permanently,” she screamed as Lennox leaned over her. “I just needed to get rid of the car so no one would find him until after Rue left him. I’d never hurt Ian. He’s simply not capable of leading us anymore.”

Then the younger of the Averdeen women went to work, pummeling Faye with body blows that made the former Shifter MMA League Champion, Daz, grimace. It took Stan, Garrett and Faye’s mate, who looked wounded to his soul, combined to pull Lennox off of Faye. When they did Gran got in a couple of whacks. Not with her red duck-billed umbrella—she reserved that for people she loved—Gran had borrowed Pop-pop’s cane.

Ian felt a quaking in his arms. He looked down to find Rue awake and laughing so hard she shook. Apparently she’d gotten stronger since she healed his mother.

Ian didn’t bother with conversation. He didn’t care where Stan locked Faye up as long as she stayed away from his pack and his mate. Blocking out the rest of the world, Ian leaned down and kissed the bride. He’d been told the best fairytales ended and happily ever afters began that way. He liked the sound of it, especially when his princess kissed him right back.

“Where did you hide my bottle of 1993 Somerfield Reserve?” he asked, breaking the kiss and nipping the tip of her nose.

Rue grinned. “I’ll tell you, but only if you please me,” she whispered seductively.

Ian shook his head, knowing everything he felt for her shone in his eyes. This woman had a way of bending him to her will. He and his wolf were hers to command. “Aw, Kitty,” he said. “I can definitely do that…until the end of time.”

Juliana Perlas has three good reasons to give up dating bad boys:

1. The uber-famous ones tend to be jerks.

2. They’re dangerous.

3. Danger turns her on.

She pulls a trifecta when one of the Seven Sons of Hell crashes through her living room window. Strong,
definitely
not silent, 1.5-million-Youtube-suscribers Daz Warren.

Dashiell Warren never means to destroy things; chaos just kind of follows him around. His peculiar gift has served him well as a shifter MMA fighter, but it’s left behind a trail of destroyed lives. Miraculously, Jules is the only person in five years he’s been able to touch without suffering searing pain. Which makes him want to get closer.

Jules sternly reminds herself she wants a heroic type who’ll fight for her, slay dragons for her. But Daz has vowed to never raise his fists again—literally or figuratively.

In spite of themselves, his need to touch and her weakness for danger boys collide and go nuclear. All while Fate howls with laughter…

Warning: This book contains a woman whose mind says “run” but whose body says “dance”. And a hero who’s…who’s…well, there’s no nicer way to put it. He’s a smartass. May cause barks of laughter and a yen for taboo sex. Hey, if you can’t run
from
him, run
to
him
.

Their second chance ignites with a bite.

Seven Brides for Seven Shifters
, Book 1

Lennox Averdeen’s top three worst fears:

1. Anything remotely canine.

2. Finding out she has a secret baby.

3. Running into Garrett Anderson. Former best friend. Heartbreaker.

She pulls a trifecta when she realizes the stray canine and the tween kid hanging around her house are not only one and the same, he’s Garrett’s
wolf shifter
son.

When Garrett tracks down his runaway son and sees Lennox again, the widowed father’s heart begins to struggle against his self-imposed chains. Plus, just coming into town pits him against the local Alpha, and everything he hates about pack life. The death, the heartache.

Despite her fears, Lennox becomes the boy’s mother in all but DNA. But Garrett? He can hula-hoop with the nine rings of hell. Except the heat of attraction has never died, and there’s only one way to slake their sexual thirst. Make a smoking-hot deal, agree to part as friends…and try to ignore the sound of Fate howling with laughter.

Warning: This book will stop your heart with barks of laughter, breathless drama, dueling heroes, and sizzling sex. Hey, if you can’t beat ’em, howl with ’em.
