About the Author
Gioia Diliberto grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, the daughter of a junior high school English and Latin teacher and a NASA engineer. She has worked as a newspaper reporter and a magazine journalist and is the author of three biographies. She lives in Chicago with her husband, the novelist and editor Richard Babcock, and the couple’s teenage son, Joe.
