Glossary of Terms

Nephilim

Nephilim are the descendants of fallen angelic beings and humans or animals. Those of human ancestry are giants which are referred to as, “gi-nef.” Those of animal ancestry are referred to as, “an-nef.”

 

An-nef


  • Bull-heads

  • Panther-heads

  • Ram-heads

  • Wolf-heads

 

The sub-species of an-nef are identified by the animals that they are descended from. References to these sub-species are general terms not identifying gender. Bull-heads, for example, is a generic term references both male and female bull-heads, although a female bull-head may be referred to individually as a “cow.”

Enoch – Jesse and Perez’s uncle (brother to Nashon) and now a spirit residing in a dog

Eunice - Perez’s mother

Future - The Prophet’s dog (Atlantan Shepherd)

Green (Lord) - Human alley of Eden

Helita – Tamar’s sister

Herc - Man in Dirty Lady

Herculous the First – First emperor of Atlantis, a gi-nef

Herculous the Second – Second emperor of Atlantis, son of Herculous the First

Hezron - General and governor of the Foothills province

Irad - Man in the Gray Knight

Jakar - Bull-head smuggler

Jared - Dark man in Bastrap

Jehoshaphat - Big dark man in Bastrap

Jesse - Son of Nashon and Tamar

Josiah - Jesse’s full brother, eldest of Tamar

Kenan - Chief of dark people tribe in Bastrap

Lamech - Shopkeeper in Whitehurst, owner of the
Razor’s Edge

Lawrence - Wolf-head that lives in Mountain Shadows

Long Nose - Enoch’s first host’s name, a black dog

Man-stalker - Werewolf

Merana - Dark girl in Bastrap

Meroni - Jesse’s first cousin (daughter of Helita) and his
fiancée

Mizriam – Emperor of Eden that started the An-nef
War, a bull-head

Moab - From the house of Ner, jackal-head in New
Sodom

Nashon – Gi-nef and father of Josiah, Jesse and Perez

Obed - Dark man in Bastrap

Paron - Doctor in Albion

Perez - Jesse’s half brother, son of Eunice

Pollex – Unclean spirit, brother of Castor

Rama - Seth’s wife

Ramos - Canaan’s prophet, a lion-head

Ruben - General Hezron’s armor-bearer and head of the

Seth – Of the house of Klietos, man that Jesse meets

Solomon - Enoch’s son

through the territories south of Atlantis

Green Highway - Main road through Eden

Horse-head Rock - Rock formation on Southern

Hospitality House - Inn in Whitehurst

Mavenport - Town in the territories on the Eastern Sea

Robber’s Row - Street in River Bend

Silent Maid - Inn in Mountain Shadows

Sodom – Former capitol of Eden

Southern Highway - Road running between Albion and
Mountain Shadows

Sword Street - Street in Whitehurst

Territories – Land between Atlantis and Eden

Whitehurst - First major town south of Albion

 

Things

Copper - Atlantan currency, one-hundred coppers to a
denarius

Denarius – Basic gold currency of Atlantis, worth one
day’s wages, plural: denari

Eden mark – Eden currency worth approximately one
half a denarius

Mountain silver pound - Currency minted in Mountain
Shadows, equal to twenty coppers
