Through her sobs, she made a little squeal and dashed to Jason, staring up in expectation. He shook his head and sat down, crooking his finger towards her in invitation. The buyers watched as she curled onto his lap, spreading her thighs and sobbing into his shoulder until he plunged and stroked her to orgasm.

Olivia sold for five hundred twenty-five thousand. The Norwegian had come to several auctions, but this was his first purchase. Long, cold nights, with the delightful little girl curled onto his lap… she was perfect.

Nicki enjoyed the auction immensely, though she was grateful not to be an offering. She knelt by Jason’s knee while Makoto discussed the presentation and plans for their future. At some point, Jason had pulled her head onto his thigh and she had fallen asleep.

Epilogue

Nicki was not crated for the return trip to the states. She wore a high-necked sweater and jeans to cover her cuffs as they flew to their new home. She had never been to Montana before, but looking out the plane’s window, it seemed to be a hillier, greener version of Arkansas.

The ranch was a sprawling affair at the base of the mountains with an attached building housing the training area. Jason had loosened some restrictions, and she spent time feeling like a companion to him. He allowed her to read, and once, he unlocked the computer and let Nicki search for the Napier News.

The last article with her name was a short affair, stating there were no new leads and the case was being shelved. Max had added a half-hearted attempt for people to send him leads. Jason stopped her from scanning ahead, at a classified offering the sale of an old farmhouse. It boasted complete modernization, including a basement finished with two added bedrooms, a recreation room, and acres of corn. Nicki smiled up at him. A few months ahead in the news there was a picture of Max at a charitable event with Sandra Benson’s arm looped through his while they smiled.
Be happy, Max.

Jason closed the computer and locked it away. Nicki would never consider betraying him, but she quietly acquiesced to his precaution. “Are you ready?”

“Yes, Master.” Nicki knelt beside him while the folders were spread on the table.

Jason stroked her long hair, and said, “July, Jennifer Cramer, Juneau Weekly Journal.”
