Kyle slid the ring back onto her finger then drew her up
onto the bed and down with him when he sprawled out. Exhausted by the ordeal,
she fell asleep in his arms.

When she woke later, her bottom itched and burned and her
cunt swelled with desperate need. She didn’t know how much time had passed but
suspected several hours. Kyle stirred when she did.

His hand slid onto her breast.

“Has it been enough time?” she asked.

“More than.” He leaned over to kiss her.

Relief began as a small warm spot in her chest but surged
into an intense, engulfing joy when the pressure of his mouth on hers assured
her of his forgiveness. His lips parted hers and demanded she let him in. She
opened for him and gave him everything he asked for. The kiss went on for a
while as they exchanged unspoken promises and reassurance. It ended when he
pulled back, drew a deep breath, and said, “Thank you. I know that was a trial
earlier.”

“It was,” she admitted. “And worth every minute.”

“Part of me is still astonished you were willing to do it
but hugely grateful and incredibly proud. Are you still sore?”

“I’ll be feeling it for a while. And proud of it myself.”

His grin showed the deep grooves in his cheeks and the warm
sparkle in blue eyes. Her heart just about burst with happiness and love for
him.

He shifted and then his mouth moved down to her breasts. His
tongue swirled over her nipple, tasting, sucking. Meg unbuttoned his shirt
while he licked the flames of desire into a white-hot heat. She screamed and
almost came on the spot when he bit down on her nipple hard enough to jolt her
into explosions of pleasure and pain too mixed to sort out and almost too huge
to bear.

She tore the shirt from his shoulders then all but ripped
off his trousers and boxers in her desperation to feel him. Running her hands
down the hard muscles of his chest gave her an almost absurd joy. Wrapping
fingers around his cock made her heart swell with the pleasure she read on his
face. His soft moans were a symphony in her ears and the quivering flesh told
her how close the edge she dragged him.

He jerked, rolled on top of her and started to push in then
stopped. “Can you bear it? We can do this differently.”

Her bottom was sore and it chafed when his weight drove it
against the fabric of the sheets. She welcomed the pain for the way it stoked
her desire and reminded her what she’d give to have him. “I want it. I
need
it.” She thrust her hips up at him to emphasize the point.

He laughed warmly. “I need it too. I need it worse than ever
before in my life. I wasn’t sure we’d survive this and it was breaking me
apart.”

“Me too,” she said as she accepted his first deep thrust. “I
was afraid I’d lost your love. Lost you. That I’d thrown away the best thing
that ever happened to me through my own stupidity. I’m so grateful that you let
me prove I still wanted it.”

Need drove her with powerful urgency to match him quick
thrust for quick thrust until he was hammering into her. She jolted and jerked
each time his cock tickled that spot inside that longed for its caress. Tension
drew her muscles into bunches of wires wound too tight, begging to spring
loose.

Wrapping her arms around him, she drew him into her even
more closely, matching his rhythm as he pistoned in and out, until they
exploded together in a climax that made the bed rock and might even have made
the house sway a bit. It changed her world.

She felt reborn from the darkness and coldness and doubt
into the warmth and joy and light of Kyle’s love.

As they lay together afterward, too comfortable and at peace
with each other to want to break the connection, he said, “By the way, your
efforts apparently worked. My dad called the next day to say he and Mom had
been rethinking their opposition to our marriage. In fact, they were asking how
they could help out. Whatever you said to him must have made quite an
impression.”

“I don’t think it was anything special. I just told him
about losing my parents and how wrenching that had been, and I didn’t want to
see either you or him lose each other because you’re both too stubborn.”

He drew back and shook his head. “Dang, I may have to spank
you again for that.”

Meg grinned and pulled him back down on top of her. “I’m
counting on it.”
