“Well, yeah, but there is a second part to that. Your place is at the New Council, and you will take your seat with them. But each of the Chosen will produce a child in the first year. Those children are the other gift from the spirits.” Her mother said.

“Okay, wait a fucking minute.” She said and blew out a deep breath. “I have been calm about this up until now, but what you are telling me is that; One, I am a Chosen. Two, I have two mates. Three, with them we have to go and fight Rogues who are attacking the New Council which I will belong to when I mate with these two. And last, that I am going to get pregnant, like soon?”

Her mother made a noise and she looked at her. She was trying to hold back her laughter, then she looked at her father and he was doing the same. She blushed and looked at the two men who were seated next to her and they were grinning from ear to ear.

“Really?” She huffed and stood up. Lacy swayed a little and both of the men jumped up to grab her. She shook them off and stalked to the bathroom with her head held high.

She needed some space.

Once in the bathroom, she sat on the toilet and put her head in her hands. How the hell had her day gone from normal to crazy in the span of a few short hours? Lacy sighed and stood up and looked in the mirror. She looked normal, nothing had changed. She wondered if she would change when she mated with two bears. Holy shit, was she going to become a bear?

Lacy was going to hyperventilate. She was not ready for all of this. Good God"s she could barely walk across the street without getting a broken leg. How the hell was she supposed to help save the New Council? She sat back down on the toilet and tried to think. The only thing she could concentrate on though was the fact that she was supposed to mate with the two extremely handsome men out in the living room.

When was she supposed to do this, she wondered, tonight? Shit, she was in her parents"

house. That was kinda gross. Could they go back to her place? Gods, she was thinking too much. She needed to get herself together and go out there with a plan.

The twins sat there, looked at their mate"s parents, and smiled. There was an uncomfortable silence in the room. Finally, Sevi spoke up. “So, uh, witches, huh? Our Alpha is going to be happy we found you.”

Lacy"s mother looked at them and narrowed her eyes. “What do you two do?” Shawn and Sevi looked at one another and grimaced. Now they were in for the future son-in-law grilling. “Well, we run the family supply store in Milliken.”

“Your family owns it?” Her father asked looking at them closely.

“Yeah, my father started it with a friend when we first arrived in town. Now that he is retired, we took over. Our other brother, Blaine, was an Enforcer in the Pack. We thought about becoming an Enforcer too, but my parents wanted us to take over the business. We have our own home in town. Just built it.” Shawn said.

“So Lacy is one of the Chosen.” Sevi asked.

Her parents nodded and the twins looked at each other. This was not what they thought about when they thought of a mate. After seeing everything the rest of the Chosen had gone through, this changed things a lot. They were going to have to watch out for her more. It was a shock that their mate was one of the Chosen. Their mother was going to have a cow. And their brother was going to blow a vein, but this was going to be fun.

Now they could torment him on a daily basis.

“You have a problem with that?” Her father asked and looked at the men again closely.

“No!” Shawn said. “It"s just a shock, I mean we thought we were going to come here and ask for your help and return to Milliken and continue with our lives. This trip has changed everything. Not only have we found our mate, but also she is one of the Chosen. We just need a few to adjust.”

“Well, you don"t have a few. Sorry to say, that you are going to have to get used to it quickly. When we were at the store, I sensed a presence in the front of the store. If I am not mistaken, the Rogues have found out the Lacy is one of the Chosen and they are going to try to take her.” Her mother said calmly.

Lacy"s father jumped up and yelled, “Woman, are you crazy? Why didn"t you tell me sooner?”

Her mom shrugged and looked at her mate. “We are going to have to unbind your powers and help Lacy get to Colorado.” She said calmly.

Her father ran his hands through his hair and paced the large room. “When were you going to tell me this?”

“I was waiting for Lacy to come back into the room. You know that she is going to have to help me with the spell. I can"t do it alone and I think it would be best if we kept it a secret.” Her mother said.

Sevi and Shawn watched as the pair argued, it was like watching a tennis match. They both turned their head when one of them spoke. It was hilarious. They were going to have a good time with these people.

“Uh, can I interrupt for a second?” Shawn said and raised his hand.

“Dude, we are not in school anymore.” Sevi smirked.

“Hell, I didn"t want to startle them and get a spell thrown at me or something. Jeeze, anyway. If I could ask something?” Shawn said.

Lacy"s father motioned with his hand in a circle, telling him to hurry up.

“Well, you said you were going to help us get back to Colorado. Do you have any idea what we are going to have to do when we get there?” Shawn asked.

When they left, they had narrowly escaped the cloud. By now, it was surely closed.

There was no way back into the Pack compound, how were they going to break the spell, and protect the Pack with only themselves? The Rogues would have the place surrounded by now. The last time they attacked, it had been ugly. They were not sure the witches understood what they were in for.

“Sir, the last time the Rogues attacked the compound, we had a lot of injured and lost some lives of some good shifters. This is not going to be an easy task. In addition to the witches they have recruited, the Rogues have a lot of shifters. So, when we get back, we are on our own until we can get help from the inside.” Shawn said seriously.

Her father nodded and looked at them with determination. “We won"t be alone.” Sevi and Shawn looked at each other and frowned. They had no clue what that meant, but they were going to have to trust the witches. Of course, they would protect their mate at all costs. Now that they found her, there was no way she would be hurt, Chosen or not, she was their mate.

Lacy opened the door to the bathroom and walked out looking a little better.

“Well, I have made a decision.” She announced, and tripped over a rug that was laying in the living room.

Chapter 6

Damnit! She thought as she was lying on the floor. She had planned on coming in the room and announcing that she was going to claim her mates tonight at her house. And she ended up on the floor? How embarrassing.

Both of the men ran to her side and helped her up as her parents laughed. They were used to her clumsiness, but to have her mates see it so often in a short period was just humiliating.

“You okay, sweetheart?” Shawn murmured and kissed the top of her head.

“Fine.” She grumbled and put her head in his neck and sighed. Sevi ran his hand up and down her back soothing her.

“Are you sure?” Sevi whispered in her ear. She nodded and then shivered when he whispered again in her ear. “We are going to have to invest in bubble wrap for you just to keep you unharmed. Or I could just carry you everywhere.” Lacy smiled and turned to look at Sevi, “That would cause a little too much talk, don"t you think?”

“Sweetheart, I would carry you to the ends of the earth and back if you wanted me too.” He said and looked in her eyes and she almost melted. They were sexy; she thought and felt the pull of the mating again. They were going to have to get the hell out of her parent"s house quick or she was going to jump them right here.

“As I was saying,” she said loudly and looked at her parents. “I have made a decision, before the rest of the coven gets here; I think I need to get my powers.” Her mother nodded and then looked at her father and smiled. “Yes, dear. However, you are not going home. As I was saying to your mates, I believe the Rogues may have found you. In your apartment, you would be sitting ducks. You can use the guesthouse. When you are done though, we have other things to do, don"t dawdle.” Lacy looked at her mother with her mouth wide open. Her mother just told her to go and have sex with two men and to hurry? Seriously? She was going crazy.

“Mooom!” Lacy squealed when Sevi scooped her up in his arms and smiled and nodded to her parents.

“Which way?” He said and then moved in the direction they pointed without hesitation.

“We will be back in a while.” Shawn called and shut the door behind them and followed Sevi who was nearly running to the building in the distance. At least they would be far enough away when they made their mate scream from pleasure her parents would not hear.

Lacy laughed when Sevi kicked open the door to the guest cottage, looked around quickly, and then carried her into the first bedroom he found. Shawn was right behind them and when Sevi sat her on her feet, they both surrounded her.

Sevi leaned down and kissed her for the first time without her being under the influence, and she almost cried from the gentle sweetness. He slowly explored her lips with his and then nudged her mouth open with his tongue and continued to explore. She groaned in his mouth when she felt Shawn kissing her neck, reaching around and cupping her breasts from behind through her clothes. They were going to kill her, she thought.

Sevi pulled back and then spun her and she was facing Shawn who was smiling. He bent and kissed her. He was much more demanding than his brother had been. They may be twins, but she was going to have no problems telling them apart in the light or darkness.

Sevi began unbuttoning her shirt and then slowly pulled it off, careful of her arm. Then he unsnapped her bra, and slid it off, before covering her breasts with his large hands and squeezing gently. Lacy leaned back a little so she was giving him as much access as she could. It felt so good to be touched by her mates.

Shawn pulled back and growled. “Clothes off.” He ordered and she laughed at the look on his face. If she could take a picture, she would, just to remind her how sexy her mates were when they were aroused. His eyes that were normally green, turned a dark shade of brown, and glittered with passion.

Lacy quickly pulled off her pants and underwear and stood before them naked. She almost covered herself when she saw the look on their faces. They stared intently at her body without speaking, and had stopped what they were doing. Hell, did that mean that they were disappointed? She wondered a second before Sevi pulled her back into his arms and kissed her soundly then released her and finished undressing. Shawn did the same and she giggled.

“Bed.” Shawn ordered and she looked up in surprise. Was he going to be this demanding all the time? “Sorry, sweetheart, please would you join us in the bed?” He whispered when he saw her hesitate.

She nodded shyly and then walked to the bed and crawled in the middle. She was not sure how this was supposed to work. She had little to no experience with sex.
