“I love you.” Kelly said before pressing a tender kiss to Susan’s lips. Susan let out a happy sigh and kissed her back before slipping her tongue into her mouth wanting to be close to her partner. Far too quickly Kelly pulled away and took a gulp of wine before ushering her into the dining room.

“I made dinner.” Kelly said taking Susan’s hand before they went into the dining room that was already set up.

“Oh wow!” Susan gushed upon seeing the set table, the lit candles, and the many pots and bowls of food.

“For us.” Kelly said pulling her chair out for her and then going over to her own.

“You did this for me?” Susan asked surprised.

“You always cook and I know how rough everything has been for you, I wanted to do something special.” Kelly said with a shrug before offering her some of the food she had cooked.

“You hate cooking.” Susan said watching as Kelly loaded her plate up.

Kelly shrugged her tone nonchalant, “I do. But for you I’d do anything.” She said before holding up her glass.

“To us.”
She said as they clinked and both sipped the wine.

“I love you too.” Susan said before giving her another quick kiss and helping herself to the food.

“Good. I was getting worried when you didn’t say it back.” Kelly joked.

Susan rolled her eyes, “I can’t believe you made this all for us! You don’t cook! I can’t get over this.” Susan said with a laugh.

Kelly shrugged, “I really don’t mind. I feel bad sometimes that you constantly cook for us. I wanted to do something nice for you and I know I totally stole your idea that we did last month, but we had fun. Everything was really nice that night.” Kelly said sheepishly.

Susan grinned at her and took her hand, “I don’t mind. It’s perfect.” She said looking into her eyes.

“Well I’m glad you like it.” Kelly said clearing her throat and eating some of the food.

“It’s not going to be as good as yours though, just a forewarning.” Kelly warned.

Susan rolled her eyes, “just let me enjoy it, Kelly, baby. I love everything you do.” Susan said eating. She closed her eyes briefly and swallowed.

“This is delicious.” Susan said smiling over at her.

Kelly grinned, “I’m glad you like it. I put something special in there.” She said.

“What?” Susan asked surprised.

“Love.” Kelly said with a smirk.

Susan rolled her eyes at her partner’s corniness and continued to eat the meal.

“How was work?” Susan asked as the silence between them grew and the food on their plates disappeared.

“It was good. I think we’re going to get that big case I was telling you about.” Kelly said excitedly.

“That’s good! Will your team get it?” Susan asked taking a sip of wine.

Kelly nodded, “I hope so. I really want it. If my team gets it I think we could win. I saw so many opportunities with this case. It, I think will be the story of the summer.” Kelly said excitedly.

“You think so?” Susan asked surprised.

“Yeah, it’s just so juicy! Plus everyone in the office wants it, not to mention our competitors as well.” Kelly said rolling her eyes.

“How was work for you?” Kelly added.

Susan shrugged, “Ok. I guess.
Nothing major. Everyone in that restaurant is bad shit though, did you know that?” Susan said shaking her head.

Kelly laughed, “Tell me a story.” She requested. Susan smiled and began recounting her day. Kelly couldn’t help but laugh at parts and loving the way Susan told stories. Eventually their dinner was done and they had moved on to dessert. Homemade strawberry ice cream, Susan’s favorite.

Kelly got up to clear the dishes and brought back a bowl of the ice-cream with two spoons. Susan watched carefully as Kelly dipped the spoon into the pink ice-cream and then moved the spoon towards Susan’s mouth. Susan opened really wide and letting her eyes lock with Kelly’s let the spoon into her mouth and the strawberry flavoring of the ice-cream overflow her senses. She licked her lips enjoying the taste and letting out a pleasurable moan.

“Amazing.”
Susan said closing her eyes briefly as Kelly fed her another spoonful.

“If you continue to cook like this I might make you cook from now on instead of me.” Susan said as she dipped her spoon into the ice-cream and fed Kelly.

She shook her head swallowing the delicious cold treat. “No way.” She said giggling and dipping the spoon into the bowl so she could continue feeding Susan.

“You make the best meals. I’m lucky to have you.” Kelly said sincerely.

Susan grinned choosing not to respond.

They continued to eat the ice-cream until the bowl was empty. Then Susan leaned over and planted a sweet kiss on Kelly’s mouth enjoying the after taste of strawberry ice-cream on her lips.

Mmmm.” Susan said closing her eyes briefly.

Kelly chuckled and took her hand in hers.

“Come on. Let’s go to the bedroom.” Kelly said seductively.

Susan nodded and came without struggling against her partner. Kelly led her into the bedroom and opened the closed door of their room. She ushered Susan inside excited to see her face when she saw the rose petal covered room with the scented candles on every inch of surface.

“Oh wow! Kelly!” Susan breathed upon going into the room.             

Kelly smiled gleefully and gently pushed her into the room. Susan’s eyes widened some more as she looked around the dim lit room with the red rose petals everywhere. The duvet of the bed was covered in petals and there were shadows that flickered on the wall illuminating the room.

“It’s beautiful.” Susan gushed turning to look at her lover.

“Do you like it?” Kelly said nerves inching into her tone.

“Like it? I love it!” Susan breathed walked quickly over to Kelly and taking her hands. She grinned at her before leaning in and planting a tender kiss on her lips. Kelly sighed contently and closed her eyes as Susan’s soft lips melded into hers. Their tongues touched gently and their fingers inched into the other’s hair exploring each other’s soft tresses. Susan always enjoyed Kelly’s curls and Kelly always loved to drag her fingers through the silk that was Susan’s hair.

Susan let out a gentle moan and gripped Kelly’s head closer to hers. Without warning Kelly moved away with a teasing smile.

“I have something else for you.” Kelly said wriggling out of Susan’s grip and going towards the joined master bathroom.

“What?” Susan asked her mind foggy from her lover’s kisses.

“I have a surprise. Just wait out here.” Kelly said going into the bathroom. Susan rolled her eyes and sat at the foot of the bed on the rose petals. She picked up a few and rubbed them together between her fingers enjoying the smooth texture of the flowers. She breathed in enjoying the smell of the scented candles that were filling the room with the scent of vanilla. She closed her eyes briefly enjoying the vanilla perfume. It was her favorite smell and she was so glad Kelly had remembered.

Suddenly Kelly came back into the room with a seductive smirk wearing just a robe.

“You have to put on this.” Kelly said holding up a bright red piece of cloth.

“Why?” Susan whined as Kelly came around to the bed.

“Because I’m asking nicely. Please put this on. It’ll be worth it.” Kelly said smirking at her.

“Fine.”
Susan said closing her eyes as Kelly crawled on to the bed and wrapped the red cloth around her eyes.

“But don’t let me fall.” Susan said annoyed at the prospect of falling while blindfolded.

“Wouldn’t dream of it, baby.” Kelly said her voice filled with undertones of teasing.

“Are you sure I have to be blindfolded.” Susan whined as Kelly tightened the cloth.

“Positive. It’s well worth it.” Kelly said and then paused. “Don’t you trust me?” she asked quietly.

Susan frowned, “Of course I trust you! I just…” she trailed off as Kelly took her hand and then guided her no doubt into the bathroom.
