“Micah
!
Micah
!
I feel you
.
I see you
.
Live, Micah
.
Please live
.
I live
.
I am awake
.
This is what I see, Micah.”

Again, a panorama of scenery followed.

Gabriel was tapped in to them both now.

“I know where you are Libby
!
I know that place
.
Hold on,
sweetheart
.
I will come for you!”
Micah spoke in the vision.

“Micah!” Gabriel called to him
.
“Micah, tell me where she is
.
I will go to her
.
Tell me the name of the place
!”

T
he vision faded
.
Downhearted, Gabriel opened his eyes
.
He
was
so close to finding
the name of the place
.
A flat hill
.
But where
?
There were
many
hills around
Templecombe
.

He
leaned nearer to
Micah
and spoke softly
.
“Tell me where Libby is Micah, you recognized the place
.
Tell me
!
It is imperative we find her soon.

He watched as Micah’s eye
lids
flutter
ed
open
.

“Cadbury Hill
,
Gabriel
.
She’s at Cadbury
Hill
.
Go get her for me, please
.
Save her,” Micah’s voice was weak
.
He
turned to face
Owen
.
“Go get her
, please
!”
His eyes
started
to roll
back
then closed
as
he drifted
back into
slumber
.

“I made contact with them both
.
Micah recognized her location
.
I’m getting my men
and going to Cadbury Hill,” Gabriel said as he rose.

“No
, Gabriel
!
It’s daylight
.
If they are on Cadbury they will be able to see you coming long before you get near
.
Where is Micah’s
spyglass
?
He has one, I
remember seeing
it
the last time I visited Horethorne Hall
.”
Harry
surveyed
the room.

Lyon entered
in time to hear
Gabriel’s revelation
and Harry’s question
.
“It’s in his personal study, off his bedchamber
.
He keeps it poin
ted in the direction of Cadbury.”

Lyon moved to the door on the other side of the bookcase
.
He
opened
the study door
.
It was a small room
.
There was a desk, several chairs and
two
bookshelves
.
The
spyglass
was set up at the window
in its usual place
.
Lyon
smiled
as he reached
the telescope
.
He r
aised
it
slightly so he could see the top of
Cadbury
Hill
.
He studied the area for long moments
.
“Movement on top of
Cadbury
; l
ooks like
men in long coats,
gentlemen.
My guess is they are
brown
!”

Harry moved to
the glass
.
Gabriel
gazed at the hill
next
.
Owen
took a turn
last
.

“We’ll sneak in around the base of the hill
after dark
.
We’ll have to leave the horses far off
and w
alk in
.
First we’ll have to t
ake out any guards below
, preferably with knives
.
We w
on’t have much time for re-loading
so we’ll have to take
a lot of weapons
,” Harry said
.
“There’s at least twenty of them
up top
.”
He sighed
.
“Probably
a dozen more for we know they would have a guard below
.”

“I’m leaving for London within the hour
.
I’ll be there in case Libby turns up there,” Lyon offered
.
“I need to wake Sophia
and bid
her
farewell
.”

Harry nodded
.
“If we don’
t find Libby, I’ll send
word to you right away, Lyon
, s
ince Sophia
did
end
up in London
after she was taken
.
It
was
also
the destination this Mr. Crow intended for Libby when she was first kidnapped.

Lyon frowned grimly and nodded.

“Gabriel and I need to speak with you before you go,” Harry told him.

“I will meet you in the
downstairs
study in a quarter of an hour.”
Lyon nodded.

Lyon sat on the edge of their bed
.
His hand covered his wife’s
bare
shoulder
.
He shook
her
gently
.
“Sophia
?
Darling?”

Her d
ark
golden
lashes fluttered
.
He
gazed into those
green gold eyes that entranced him so
.
She smiled
.
It was a
warm, happy smile
.
Lyon bent his head and kissed his Lady wife
quite thoroughly
.

“What time is it?” Sophia asked.

“It’s early yet, darling.”

“Y
ou are dressed already
?
You-“
Sophia sat up quickly as the realization struck her
.
The smile left her face
and was
replaced
by
fear and worry
.
“You are leaving for London
, already
?”

Lyon nodded
.
“I will
return to you
soon, Sophia
.
I will be fine, my darling
.
I will come back
.”
His lady sat magnificently naked in their bed
.
She dropped the covers when she sat up abruptly
.
Her body was so
beautiful
.
Her pert, full breasts tempted him
sorely
.

“Lyon, I-I will miss you terribly,” Sophia tried not to cry
.
Yet she could not stop the tears that s
lid
down her cheeks.

Lyon drew her into his arms
.
He k
issed her tears away
.
“Don’t cry,
darling
.
Please?

Sophia
rose up o
n her knees
.
She cradled his face in her hands and kissed him passionately
.
“Come back to me
, Lyon
!
Promise me
you will
!

“I
promise, my fair Sophia
.” Lyon rested his forehead against hers
.
He placed a kiss to her lips
.

“I will hold you to it
!”
Sophia threatened
, pointing a warning finger at him.

Lyon
grinned
.
She had
flam
ing copper
hair for
a
reason
, his little hell-cat
!
He c
huckled softly
.
“I won’t disappoint you
.
Take care of yourself, my
darling
.”

“Be safe, Lyon
.
Please
?
Stay
safe.”

“I have to go now.”

“I know
.”
She nodded
and
s
miled
at him
.

“I will keep in touch with Harry
.
He will keep you informed.”

Lyon
leaned down and
kissed h
er deeply and thoroughly
one last time before he turned to leave
.
“I will see you soon, darling
.”
He gave her his most dazzling smile.

She nodded
and w
atched as he
closed the door
behind him
,
l
eaving
her alone in the
ir
bedchamber
.
She called for the maid so she could dress.

“Lyon, there is the chance Crow shall see our trap right away
.
Either Pendarves or Carlyon or both need to be near you at all times
.”
Harry looked
to
Lyon.

“They are both aware of you
r
addiction problems and are instructed to pull you out if you get into trouble that way
as well
,” Gabriel informed him in a warning tone.

“You do not have to worry about that, Gabriel
.
I have a beautiful wife whom I’ve made promises to
.
I’ve no intention of hurting her or letting her down.”

Gabriel
n
odded
.

“If it gets dangerous, you three get out of London and
get
back here
.
Also, I’ve sent a message to Sir John
at
Eveleigh
Park
and asked for his help,

Harry clapped
Lyon’s shoulder
.

Lyon
offered Harry a confused frown
.
“Sixty-something year old Sir John
Nunn
from
Glastonbury
?” he asked
.

“Ah, I guess I
have
n’t told
you
, Lyon
.
I
suppose it was
Micah
I told
.
Sir John and I
have spent
much time together
in Glastonbury
these past weeks
with our brandy and port while the ladies of my household met in the drawing room after dinner
.
Do you remember hearing of a spy called
Le Corbeau
during the War
with France
?”

“Of course
.
I remember waiting for news of his exploits in the papers
.
What young boy didn’t know of
Le Corbeau
, t
he Raven
?
He disappeared after the war
, a
nd was never heard of again.”
