I barely heard Jack speak, because I couldn’t take my eyes off of
Kenna
in her daisy dukes and tight t-shirt. I gave my head a little shake to clear it and invited them in.

“Mom’s in the kitchen, writing me out a shopping list.”

Jack hurried passed me on his way to the kitchen.
Kenna
and I followed him at a more reasonable pace. Jack was just bending down giving mom a kiss when we enter the room. That’s something, I haven’t gotten use yet and if the expression on
Kenna
’s face was any clue, she felt the same way. Mom picked up the shopping list, went over to her purse, and then she turned back to me.

“Here you go dear, this should be enough.”

I looked down and saw the list and two twenties dollar bills. That was way too much money.

“Mom, this is too much money, the total won’t even be twenty dollars.”

“Put the rest towards gas. You’re always running around for me.”

“Mom, you don’t need to…….”

“Wyatt, I won’t take no for an answer.”

“Okay, okay. I’ll be back as soon as I can.”

Wyatt, dear, why don’t you take
Kenna
with you? I’m sure she doesn’t want to stand around, waiting for Carson. Well I guess she could always go out and visit with Jesse and Josh.

I just stared at my mother. I swear she knows something. She for sure knew which buttons to push with me.

I turned to
Kenna
and she had a panic look on her face.

Kenna
, would you like to ride into town with me. You can help me pick up some things we need for the barbeque.”

“If you’re sure
Wyatt?”

“Of course I’m sure. You can keep me company on the drive.”

As
Kenna
and I turned and started towards the front door, I swear, I saw my mother wink at Jack. What was those two up too. Within moments, we were heading toward Butte. Both of us nervous and unsure what to say to each other.

Chapter 7

Wyatt and I rode in silence for the first ten minutes. Finally I couldn’t stand the silence any longer, I had to say something, but what? Think…think….think!

“Umm, Wyatt, are you as nervous as I am.”

He glanced at me out of the corner of his eye, took a deep breath and slowly answered.

“Yeah, I guess I am. I’m just not sure what to say or do around you now. I know that it’s silly, but I just don’t want to do or say the wrong thing. I feel more uncertain then a teenager out on his first date. I wasn’t this nervous in high school go out on my first date. There’s just too much at stake, I guess.”

“Well it’s never matter before, what you said or did. Why should it matter more now?”

Kenna
, I know you have been through hell this last year and I don’t want to add to it by acting on my feeling for you before you’re ready. I care about you a lot and hurting you would kill me. Your happiness is what matters”

My response came out more like a whisper.

“You have feelings for me?”

“Yes, I do. What you have always thought of was me being bossy, was really me being jealous. But I had convinced myself that because of Carson, I could never act on my feeling.”

“Really, I thought you saw me as a child, as nothing, but Carson’s baby sister. I’m sorry for the way I’ve been acting. I didn’t know.”

“Darlin, I think we are the only two in both of our families, that hadn’t figured out we had feeling for each other, which was a real shocker to me.”

“Now what?”

“It’s up to you. I was making sure you were ready, before I went about seeing if we had what it takes to have a relationship. I didn’t want to rush you.”

We pulled up at the grocery store and Wyatt put the truck in park, than shut the engine off. He turned in his seat to face me. He took my right hand in his.

“I would really like to go out some time, but only if you’re ready.”

He brushed a stray strand of hair away from my face. I sat there frozen in shock over all the revelations of our emotions. I’ve had feelings for Wyatt for years. Could I get over the past year’s pain, to give Wyatt a chance at healing my broken heart? Hell yes, I could.

“I’m ready whenever you are, Wyatt. I want to go out with you and see if we have what it takes. The sooner we go out the sooner we’ll know if this is right.”

He gave me a huge smile, lifted my hand to his lips to give me the gentlest of kisses.

Kenna
, would like to go to a barbeque with me today?”

He gave me a sweet bashful smile, it melted my heart.

“I’d love too.”

“Thank you, darlin. I promise you’ll never regret this decision.”

He leaned forward and kissed my lips with a barely there kiss.

“Wyatt, can I ask you a question?”

“Sure darlin, you can ask me anything.”

“How long has my dad been seeing your mom?”

Wyatt chuckled at me and then said with a smile.

“Several years now, It’s still hard to see them kiss and I really don’t even want to think about, what they do out in that hot tub at night, when we all go to bed. Ewwww, we all use that thing.”

I had to laugh at his grossed out expression.

“Okay Wyatt, let’s get in the store and get what we need, so we can get our date started.”

Chapter 8

Kenna
and I talked about everything on the ride back. I had to break the new to her that her car was dead. With a cracked head the car was worth fixing. Over the next thirty minutes, I learn that
Kenna
was a warm and funny woman. I really enjoyed her company. We made it back to the barbeque by 3:00 pm. She helped me carry the groceries into the house.
Kenna
smiled at me, when I stuck the extra twenty dollar bill back into my mom’s purse. Then we made our way out to the back yard, where the tables and chairs have been set up earlier. We walked over to the table that was now being occupied by Jesse, Josh, and Carson.

“Hey, we were waiting for you two to get back, before we dug the pig up.”

“Well I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m starved, so I think you three, need to get those shovels and get too digging.”

An hour later
Kenna
and I sat at the table talking quietly amongst ourselves. We watched as Josh took the cover off the hot tub and then one by one everyone seemed to make their way into the hot steamy water.

“What do you say
Kenna
, you want to start making our way to the hot tub? If not
,
it’s
okay.”

“I’d like that, let me go change, I’ll be right back.”

“Wait I’ll go with you, I need to change too.”

I took her tiny hand in mine as we walked to the house.
Kenna
strolled over to her purse and pulled a few pieces of fabric out of it. Wow, there is no way that is a bathing suit. She stepped over to me and stood on her tippy toes to brush a kiss on my lips.

“See you in a few minutes.”

With that, she walked to the down stairs bathroom, then turned and gave me a little wave, and walked inside. I headed up to my room and changed into my swim trunks. After changing I put my hat back on and I walked down stairs. I stopped on the last step as my jaw hit the floor. Standing there is a hot pink string bikini and I do mean string bikini, was
Kenna
. She smiled up at me and I grew hard as a rock. Oh great, I can’t go out there like this.

“Umm,
Kenna
, didn’t you forget something?”

She looked down at herself in confusion. Then she looked back up at me with the same confused look.

“What did I forget?”

“Your bathing suit.”

I knew it wasn’t the right thing to say, it just seemed too popped out of my mouth. She gave me a put out look, right before her fisted hands went to her hips.

“What do you mean by that, Wyatt? I’ haven’t said a thing about your Stetson and swim trunk combo.”

“Darlin, there just isn’t much to what you are wearing is all, you’ll be around both of my brothers and I’m making a mess of this whole conversation aren’t I?”

“Wyatt it’s the only one I have with me. I use to wear this all the time in California and no one complained about it there.”

“Darlin, how many girls have you seen wearing a swim suit like that, in Montana?

“Well none, but I figure it’s just family and friends, I thought it would be okay.”

I walked the rest of the way down the stairs to stand in front of her. She looked hurt and mad now. That was the last thing I wanted to do, was to upset her.

Kenna
, just looking at you in that, makes me hard as a rock. How am I going to go outside, in front of your father and my mother like, like….this?”

I made a point, to look down at my erection, clearly visible tenting the front of my swim trunks,
Kenna
’s gaze wondered down to the tented area. I saw the moment she figured out what I was saying. I didn’t realize when someone blushed, their whole body blushed, but with all of her exposed skin, there was no way to miss it. Just then I heard the kitchen door open and a few seconds later, Jesse came around the corner heading for the stairs. When he spotted
Kenna
, he stopped dead in his tracks and his mouth hung wide open.

“Jesse, if you don’t want me to close your mouth, then I would suggest you close it yourself.”

“Dang
Kenna
, you grew up really, really well.”

Jesse didn’t try to hide the fact he was looking her over from head to toe.

I put my right hand on Jesse’s shoulder and shoved. He stumbled back a few steps. He regained his balance and gave me a put out look.

“Why, did you do that?”

“If hadn’t shoved you, I would have taken you out side and kicked your ass, and that would have really ticked off mom.”

Poor
Kenna
, she put her hands over her face and I knew she was mortified. I took her right hand in my left and started up the stairs.

“Come on darlin, I’ll find something you can wear over it until you get in the hot tub ok.”

She nodded her head and followed me up the stairs and into my room. I pulled the door closed and walked over to my closet. I tried to see, what I had that would work. I pulled out a black tank top and handed it to her. Once she had a hold of it I pulled her towards me until she was standing just mere inches from my chest.

“There is something, I’ve been wanting to do for a
very long time
now.”

“And what would that be?”

She took that final step that put her up against my chest. She wrapped her arms around my neck as I took her into my arms. Within seconds our lips were joined, and I was transported to heaven. Her lips were soft, and very responsive. They parted and we deepen the kiss. Time seem to stand still as we kissed each other into a passion filled frenzy.

My lips trailed down the column of her neck as my hands traced over curves memorizing every inch in their path.
Kenna
, gasped in response as I lightly pinched her harden nipple through her bikini top. We couldn’t get enough of each other. I reached around her and untie hot pink bow at the top of her neck. Stepping back slightly I let the material fall to expose a pair of perfect breast with hard beaded
rosy
red nipples. I leaning down, and sucked one harden nipple into my mouth, then the other.
She
back arched and her breast
s
were shoved towards my waiting mouth as little moans escaped her lips. I caressed and nibbled her until her breathing became ragged.

I pulled back to look into her lust filled emerald green eyes. I saw my need for her mirrored back at me in her eyes.

She reached inside swim trunk and took a firm hold of hard erection. I almost lost control as she began to stroke me from head to hilt. My hips started moving by their own accord. With a shaky hand I untied the side string of her bikini bottom and let them fall to the floor, as I fought for control of my body. My fingers found her apex and began to stoke her. Soon our strokes matched each other’s. I took two fingers and entering her, as I picked up the pace. Small whimpers of pleasure passed over her lips, then I felt her body start to tremble and clamp down around my fingers. She moaned out my name. She picked up her speed as she stroked me over the edge. I felt myself tighten and I couldn’t control the groan or release that followed. We held each other for support as our bodies trembled. Finally I found the strength to speak.

Kenna
, that was wonderful.”

I watched her as she tried to control her breathing, her face was flushed and her lips swollen from my kisses.
Kenna
’s long chocolate colored hair had escaped her clip and hung in a tangle around her shoulders.
