The feel of his warm hands at her back caused her to tremble uncontrollably but when he tried to pull away she held him in place not ready to release him from her grasp. He gladly stayed embraced in her arms until she was ready to end the kiss.

Toni slowly raised her gaze to his smiling slightly as he smiled at her before lifting his hand to caress her cheek. She covered his hand with one of hers then closed her eyes as she leaned into his caress rubbing her cheek against his palm.

The longer Daniele stared at her he could feel his heart swell in his chest as emotions almost overwhelmed him. He used his free hand to pull her into his arms so that he could hold her close. He could feel her heart beat as he pressed her against his body. He wanted to be everything that she needed him to be, her protector, her friend, her confidant and her lover.

She wrapped her arms around his waist and held him tight never wanting to let him go, but knowing that eventually she would have to.

“Daniele.” She whispered as her head rested against his chest.
