Jake walked to the window and looked out, but didn’t see anyone. And glanced behind the door at the rifle. He grinned at Marina, and walked back to her, staying between her and the gun. She back up, but he caught her, put his shoulder into her middle and carried her from the house to his horse.  He flipped her up on the horse, kept her trapped on his lap and rode away from the house. Marina screamed and tried to kick up a fuss. But Marina was still naked, and knew how being active on her men’s laps made them. She didn’t want him getting any arousal from her actions. She just hoped the boys might hear her screaming, and that they didn’t run into anyone else on the way.  She couldn’t believe she was being kidnapped, and by a neighbor. She sighed.  Life had certainly been an adventure since she’d agreed to be a mail order bride.

She did her best to stay calm as they approached the house.  His brothers all gathered around, staring as he helped the naked woman from his horse.  “I found us a wife!” Jake shouted.

Marina shook her head, “I am already a married woman, and I will not be your wife.”  The biggest man pushed in front of the others, and looked at Jake.

“You idiot, you grabbed the Maddix’s wife? What the hell were you thinking?”

He gestured at one of the other men, who ran into the house and brought her a blanket.

“I’m real sorry, ma’am. Jake sometimes thinks with his glands, and not his head. He didn’t hurt you none, did he?”

“No, he did not, he only frightened me.”  Marina wanted to say he’d hurt her, so his brothers would be angry with him, but he’d been gentle.

“I’ll have the wagon hitched up, and take you home. Jake just knows we’re real lonely out here. I hope you’ll forgive us one day.”

She looked around at the men.  “You seem like decent men. I think I know someone who would be happy to come out here and marry you, though.”  She’d had a lot of time to think while she was bouncing around on the horse. She was tired of there being so few women around to gossip with.

“Who?”  One of the men asked.  “Who’d be stupid enough to come out to the middle of nowhere and marry six men?”

“My sister, Jasmine.  She grew up on the farm with me, hates the city, but doesn’t think she deserves a second chance at being respectable. Well, as respectable as having six husbands would be.”

All the men looked at her and then at each other.  Finally, Jake said, “Really?  You’re not just saying that so we’ll take you home? You think she wouldn’t be terrified of living with six men?”

She shook her head.  “I’m not just saying that, I know that. Jasmine enjoys relations, and would be absolutely thrilled to have her own beautiful ranch and home to live in.”

Jake grinned.  “We’ll take her!  Where do we get her?”

Marina smiled at his impetus response. “How about I send her a letter as soon as I get home? I’ll introduce you to her, and you can tell her a little about yourselves. You boys will need to make sure you have money for a train ticket and a couple of new dresses for her.”

Jake frowned.  “We want a wife who’ll be naked all the time like you.”

“Buy her the dresses, she’ll need them for church. Plus, it gets cold in winter.”

“Church?”

“Women get lonely, and need to gossip with each other. And that means church. Why do you think I make the Maddix boys take me?”

The men conferred and all finally agreed.  Marina carefully wrote her sister’s address down for them, knowing her sister would be excited, once Marina convinced her. One man would never be enough for Jasmine, and this would give her the family she’d always dreamed of, when they were little girls, laid out on a haystack, watching the moon.

She saw three riders off in the distance, and knew immediately who they were.  Her husbands were coming to get her and she couldn’t be happier. She waved to them, and the Underwood boys backed off. The big man made Jake get on the porch and waved at her boys as they came pounding up.

“Sorry bout that, George, you know how Jake gets.”

Lewis helped her up onto his horse and rode home with her while the other two men stayed to talk.  “Did they hurt you?” he asked.

Marina snuggled into Lewis’s strong arms.  “No.  That big man was so mad at Jake. He was hitching the wagon to bring me home already. And I promised them my sister would marry them.”

Lewis let out a bark of laughter.  “Would she really?”

“Oh, yes. She’ll love being married to six big strong men.”

“I’m glad they didn’t hurt you.  We were worried. I was worried.”  He kissed the top of her head.  “We thought you were so mad at how hard we used you last night, that you left us for them.”

She shook her head.  “I couldn’t do that.  I love you three.  You’re the men I want to spend the rest of my life with. And raise a family with.” She sighed contentedly, glad it was Lewis who was taking her home.  He was easier for her to talk to than the others.

That night, they didn’t make love with her, but the four of them sat in the big bed, Lewis behind her and the other two on either side of her.  “You really are content here?” George asked.  “Even though we do stupid things sometimes?”

“I’m so very happy here,” Marina told him honestly.  “I can’t imagine how boring being married to only one man would be.

Henry grinned.  “I may have to spank you for saying that.”

She sighed.  “I’m sure you will.”  She leaned over and kissed him lightly.  “I love all of you.  Thank you for making me your mail order bride.”

Leota M. Abel has been scribbling into notebooks her whole life. Small flashes of life jotted down on little scraps of paper. Those little scraps finally started getting stuck together and created stories and characters in her head. Those characters had a strike until she sat down and started telling their stories.

Ella Mansfield spends most of her time dreaming up tales of sexy men and the woman they love. In the time left, she wrangles a family, chases pets, and watches the waves roll in.

MARREID TO THE TRILLIONAIRES
(Menage for Mankind)

By Ella Mansfield

One hundred years after the decision to outlaw childbirth and move to a more humane form of procreation, the earth has very few females left. Most of those are unable to become pregnant, due to a faulty system. Trillionaires Bill, John, David and Steve band together and bid on an auction for one of the few “breeding females” left. They plan it out as coldly as they would any other kind of business deal, knowing that down the road, they will eventually sell off any daughters born of the union.

April, a young woman sheltered from the outside world, is told by her father that he needs money and will be selling her at an auction to the highest bidder. He does his best to protect her in the auction, but she has no choice in the matter. April goes into the situation with a positive attitude, not expecting to fall for the men so quickly. When she finds out her plans for the future of her children, she must decide if her love of the men is stronger than the love of any children she may bear.
