“That was just… holy shit!” I hit my head against the cabinet behind me. “You are insatiable and I love it.”

“Maybe we have found our insatiable matches.” She blew out a breath. “I was hoping you wouldn’t make me wait until you tied me up.” She quickly lifted herself off of me.

I grabbed the counter and lifted myself up, disposing of the condom in the garbage can I had seen her use under the sink earlier. “I’m going to give you a minute to clean yourself up, then I want you sitting on your bed waiting for me. Grab two pairs of socks.” I smiled when she snapped her head at me. I laughed and wiggled two fingers at her. “Two pairs.” I leaned over and kissed her lips.

“Should I be afraid?”

“Nope. You’re going to love every minute of it.” I swatted her bare ass just as she was pulling away from me. She turned and smiled, then made her way down the hall. I shook my head almost laughing in disbelief as I recalled what we just did in her kitchen as I bent down to lift my pants up. I’d give her another minute or two then I’d head in there to clean up before I made full use of those socks and that bed.

“Murphy,” she called me from the bathroom. I could tell she was brushing her teeth again. “Murphy, I think your phone is ringing in my bedroom.” I sighed and headed to the end of the hall. I glimpsed to the bathroom, but she had already closed the door.
Smart girl.
I laughed knowing I probably would have stopped, grabbed her and carried her to the bedroom myself, but I’d give her another minute or so. I had to adjust my growing semi just thinking about what we were going to do for the rest of the day.

Just as I leaned to retrieve my phone from my overnight bag that I had tossed toward the closet earlier, it began to ring again. I recognized the ringtone right away as my assistant Abby’s. I blew out a breath and let it go to voicemail. I was about to retrieve the earlier message when my phone began to ring again in my hand. Abby again.
What the fuck. I told her not to call me for the rest of the week. She was to contact Harrison.

“Abby I thought I told you…” I was all prepared to scream when Abby interrupted me, which never happened before.

“Excuse me, Mr. Scott, but it is about Mr. Harrison. His wife, Whitney, called earlier to say that Mr. Harrison is in the hospital. He suffered a minor heart attack last night.”

“Holy shit! Did you call Stewart?” I dropped to the edge of the bed.

“Yes, sir. He asked me to call you. He apologized, but he is in New York in meetings for the next two days. He needs you back here in the Chicago office ASAP. Mr. Harrison was meeting with the Clemmens people in the morning. I have you scheduled for a direct flight leaving Newark Airport at two o’clock this afternoon. Stewart will conference with you in the morning or this evening upon your return so you can go over the file.” My mind only heard part of what she was saying.
Fuck. Harrison is my age. A heart attack. He has been putting in some crazy hours, but we all have.

“Fine. Fine. Have you gotten any updates on Harrison?” As important as our company was, I’d known Harrison since college. We all went in on this venture together. We were all friends and our families were pretty close. Well, at least they used to be.

“Whitney called about an hour ago and informed us that he will probably not be returning to the office until next week if he gets the okay from his doctor. They are running tests and he needs to relax. I will have all of the files in your office or I can have them couriered over to your house or in the car waiting for you at the airport when you land.”

“To my house is fine.” I pinched the bridge of my nose. “Please call Whitney and let her know we are at her disposal for whatever she needs for Harrison. Make sure someone sends food to the house and if she needs anything for the kids let us know.”

“Already taken care of, Mr. Scott.”

“And Abby, stop calling me Mr. Scott.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Abby,” I growled. I’d told her a hundred, if not a thousand, times since she started working for me almost a year ago, Mr. Scott was my father. I would rather a comfortable environment where I work. Everyone that worked for us was part of the company, they all had stock options and they were all a part of our growth.

“Yes, Murphy.”

“I’ll be in the office first thing tomorrow. I will also call Stewart as soon as I’m in the car.” I ended the call.

I had just finished getting dressed when Olive appeared in the doorway. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I had taken so long that you couldn’t wait.” Damn she looked amazing. She hadn’t even bothered to get dressed or put on a robe or even cover herself with a towel. She also had those damn socks in her hand.

“I’m sorry Olive, but I got a call from my office in Chicago.” I saw her face change from cheerful and lust filled to concerned and self-conscious now as she tried to cover her body. I grabbed her night shirt from the floor and slipped it over her head. “One of our partners had a heart attack last night and I have to go back to Chicago.” I lifted up my phone. “My assistant, Abby, just called and has me booked on a two o’clock flight back to Chicago.”

“Oh my goodness. Is your partner okay? Does he have a family?”
Gotta say, I love the concern for a man and his family, especially someone she doesn’t even know.

“He is still in the hospital. He does have a family, a wife and two children.”

“Oh, they must be so scared for him.”

“I’m sure they are. I’ll call Abby when I get home and get an update. She had food sent to the house and his wife can call if she needs anything. Harrison went to college with Stewart and me. We started this company together. He’s like family. He had a conference scheduled tomorrow and I have to sit in for him.” I pulled her into me. “If this wasn’t such an important meeting I’d have it rescheduled and stay here with…”

“No, this is your company. Please call me when you get home so I know you got there safely.” She moved to her dresser and slipped on a pair of panties and a pair of well-fitting jeans.
Damn, I really want to stay here with her.

“I’m really sorry about having to leave. We were…” I glanced over at the bed behind us.

“Well, maybe it is for the best.” My head snapped up at her, shocked. “I mean, we have had some really great sex here, but we still don’t know each other very well. You said you wanted to see where this fire took us...well, maybe this is a good thing. We can talk a bit more on the phone. We can text each other.”

“We can sext each other,” I smirked. “We can Skype each other.” I stepped closer to her.

“We could.” She slipped her arms around my neck.

“We could get to know each other better.”

“You may decide you don’t even really like me outside of my bed.”

“Yeah, not going to happen.”

“No, no it’s not.”

I laughed and kissed her lips. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I leaned my forehead against hers as I pulled my phone from my pocket. Abby texted me that my car to the airport was outside Olive’s house.

“My car is outside. Want to ride with me to the airport?” I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

“I don’t think that would be a good idea. We may not be able to get out of the car.” She laughed. Damn she was right.

“You are very, very right.” I laughed and pulled her hand into mine as we walked to the front door.

“I’ll call you before I take off and when I get home.” I opened the door.

“I look forward to it.” She leaned on the open door.

“I’m gonna miss you.” I pulled her into my arms.

“Here is a little something for you to hold onto until you come back.” She pulled a pair of her socks from behind her back.

“Ugh. You are trying to kill me,” I laughed, pulling them slowly out of her hands and lifting them to my nose.

“Be seeing you, Murphy.” She stepped back from me.

“Yeah, yeah you will.” I stepped off of the porch and headed for the car.

As the car pulled to the first stop sign at the corner, two minutes from her house my phone buzzed.

O: Not trying to tease you, just making you miss me so much you are sure to come back.

I opened the picture that was attached. It was just a pic of her left hand gripped around the iron bars of her bed with a sock wrapped around her arm.

M: Woman!

O: Murphy!

M: Thanks for the hard-on

O: My pleasure ;)

M: I’ll be back and we can continue this present conversation after my meeting tonight where I can at least take care of the hard-on I’ll be shifting around all day.

O: I will understand if you don’t have time to sext me tonight. You have an emergency at your office. I know how that can be.

M: I can promise you that no matter how tired I am that I’m going to sleep tonight with a picture of you more than gripping that iron.

O: Oh really?

M: Yup.

O: Hey Murphy?

M: Yes, Olive?

O: Have a safe flight :D

M: Thanks. You have a good day. Keep those socks handy.

O: Oh no! These socks won’t be used until you are here – IN PERSON to enjoy them ;)

M: Sounds like a plan and I’m sure we can find other things to enjoy with each other until then :D

O: I bet we can. I’m going to get dressed and head into the office.

M: You said you had the rest of the week off????

O: That was when you were still going to be here

M: Oh, well since you have the time you should come with me to Chicago

O: I’d love to, but not following a man anywhere – been there, done that.

M: Excuse me?

O: We’ll talk – it will be part of your 20 questions tonight when you call me

M: Woman! You can’t say something like that and…

O: I’m heading out to my car – can’t text and drive – very unsafe.

M: Woman!

M: Woman!

O: Starting car. Oh and Murphy

M: We aren’t done with...

O: see pic attached

M: Christ woman, you are so lucky I’m not driving or I would have driven right off of the road. Thanks again for another ravenous hard on.
I flipped back to the picture of Olive’s knee high socked legs, bare thighs just under the hem of a white dress shirt. A dress shirt that could be one hanging in my own closet.

O: Have a great day, Murphy!

M: You do the same, Olive :D

I had to admit I was a bit disappointed that she didn’t respond back, but felt better that if she was driving she was smart enough not to be texting me. All that I could hope was that this meeting went quickly and that I could get home and talk Olive into Skyping with me. As much as I loved the sexting, I really wanted to see her face and body as I talked to her.

* * *

I had to admit I was thrilled when I got to the airport and found that Abby had thought to book me a first class seat on the direct flight to Chicago. As much as I had loved falling asleep with Olive in my arms and waking up with her, I was exhausted. I knew I would more than likely be up all night going over the Clemmens material, so I could get some much needed sleep on the flight. Yeah, the screaming kid three rows ahead of me had other plans.
Who the fuck pays for a first class seat for an infant? Really!
If I hadn’t thought my swearing at the parents would have gotten the air marshals on my ass, I would have been more than happy to have them turn the fucking plane around the boot the couple and their screaming infant and puking older kid off of this flight.

Don’t get me wrong, I love kids. Even want a couple myself. I’d even probably be one of those selfish assholes that buys first class tickets for them when we flew, but this just wasn’t the time for such things. I pulled my earbuds and iPad out of my carry-on, needing any other noise aside from the screaming and puking.

When the stewards were done serving the eight seated passengers in the twelve seat first class section, the female stewardess appeared at my side with a delighted smile and a gleam in her eye.

“Excuse me, Mr. Scott. I just wanted to make sure you had everything you needed.” The look in her eye was familiar. She was in fact fucking me with her eyes and she licked her red stained lips. I had to hold back my smile knowing that I might have taken her up on the mile high club offer she was hinting at by leaning over just enough so that her breast was almost grazing my shoulder, but after spending time with Olive I had no desire for another woman.
Holy shit is this really me? Am I really whipped already after the short amount of time we spent together? We hardly even know each other. But there really is something about her drawing me to her and wanting to be with her.

“No, thank you…” I couldn’t see her name tag and honestly hadn’t been listening when she performed the emergency instructions. I pretty much knew them by heart. I had been taking one last look at the picture that Olive had sent me of her beautiful legs. As much as I would have loved to see much more of her naked body, I’d rather see it in person than have the picture.

“Erica, my name is Erica,” she blushed.
Did I really fall for that shit before?
I laughed to myself. Yeah, I guess I did.
