SIDE 1

With Cascade black cast on 64 sts. Knit 4 rows in garter.

Change to Cascade brown, knit 4 rows.

Change to String of Pearls, work 8 rows in stockinette.

Change to Distrato, work 12 rows in stockinette.

Change to Costa Rica, knit 4 rows in garter.

Change to Cascade rust, knit 4 rows in garter.

Change to Opale purple, work 4 rows in stockinette.

ROW 1:
Add Cascade rust and proceed as follows: ∗ knit 2 sts in Opale purple, knit 2 sts in rust ∗. Repeat across the row.

Purl across in same manner.

Work 6 rows in stockinette. Work 1 row in dropped stitch.

Work 4 rows in garter.

Change to Opale multi, work 4 rows in garter.

Change to Costa Rica, work 6 rows in garter.

Change to Cascade khaki, work 10 rows in stockinette.

Change to Cascade green, work 12 rows in stockinette.

Change to Distrato, work 12 rows in stockinette.

Change to Costa Rica, work 2 rows in garter.

Change to Cascade rust, work 4 rows in garter, 6 rows in stockinette, 4 rows in garter.

Change to Super Dazzle, work 7 rows in stockinette.

Change to Bonbon, work 5 rows in stockinette.

Change to Glitz, work 6 rows in stockinette.

Bind off loosely.

FINISHING

Join pieces (see diagram). Single crochet one row around the neck with Cascade black, followed by one row of crab stitch.

Make 10” fringes using one strand of each of the leftover yarns.

With size 10½ needles and String of Pearls cast on 100 sts.

Knit 2 rows in garter.

Change to Stuff.

Decrease to 32 sts, then every other row increase 1 st at each end of needle 9x= 50 sts. Work until piece measures 8".

Change to Dover and work until piece measures 18” from beginning.

Change to size 11 needles, work for 20".

Change to size 10½ needles, work for 10".

Change to Stuff and work for 8", then start decreasing every other row to 32 sts.

Change to String of Pearls and increase to 100 sts.

Knit 2 rows in garter.

Bind off loosely.

FINISHING

With String of Pearls single crochet all around body opening followed with a row of reverse crochet. Sew 18” on both sides for sleeves.

BACK

With String of Pearls cast on 136 (152, 168) sts.

Work 1 row in garter.

Next row: K2tog across the row = 68 (76, 84) sts.

Join Dover and continue in stockinette for 11” (12", 13”) or desired length.

ARMHOLE SHAPING

Bind off 4 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.

Bind off 2 sts at beginning of next 2 rows.

K2tog at each end of needle every other row 2x (6x, 7x). When armhole measures 8½” put all sts on stitch holder.

FRONT

Work same as back until armhole measures 4".

Put center 20 sts on holder.

Attach another ball of yarn.

At neck edge and every other row bind off 3 sts 1x, 2 sts 1x, K2tog

1 x. When piece measures same as back put remaining 10 sts on holder for each shoulder.

FINISHING

Join shoulder seams with a three–needle bind–off.

With String of Pearls pick up and knit 95 sts around neck.

Next row: increase 1 st in every st as you purl the row.

Bind off loosely.

Armhole: with String of Pearls pick up and knit ∗ 3 sts in a row, skip 1.

∗ Repeat from ∗ to ∗ across the row.

Next row: purl, increasing 1 every st.

Bind off loosely.
