His massive length drove her into ecstatic sobs. Her vaginal muscles could not help but massage and grip his thickness with manic intensity. Her fingers and toes clawed into the surrounding shadows, their sensation like velvet.

She writhed and bucked underneath him, her gasps, sighs, and whimpers a symphony of the sublime. And then she heard Nicholas take a deep breath, as he slowed his thrusts. She
felt
his eyes on her, and the sheer hunger behind them.

Fear and anticipation roiled through her core.

He moved down to her neck with predatory silence. Cool air breathed over her throat and prickled her skin. “There is no turning back, Eve.” She knew that well. She was done with the library, with the town...with this life.

“I know,” she breathed.

She closed her eyes and arched her neck. Her heart pounded, and her body shook with the inevitable. Her soul was on the cusp of both oblivion and pleasure. His ivory fangs sank deep into her welcoming flesh. Sweet, warm blood, rich with innocence and purity, flowed past his lips.

Eve's heart shuddered, and her eyelashes fluttered. Her fingers clawed down his back, pinning him close as her body went stiff with pleasure. Slow and soft moans seeped from her quivering lips. Each deep gulp of her vital life essence was to the rhythm of his thrusting hips.

She felt her body grow tighter and tighter without her effort. Pleasurable sensation built up within her flesh like electricity, welling up to a release that would take her into ecstasy and darkness.  Her nails dug into the shadows, her thighs shook to spasms that echoed throughout her body. She was so close.

Nicholas held her tight, as her body grew more uncontrollable, desperately trying to hold onto its life. Her back arched and her breasts billowed out against his chest. He filled her up like a prize stallion, as merciless with her pleasure as he was with her blood.

Eve felt cold, like stone, even as a fire churned in her loins. Her sporadic moans were beautiful, yet agonized. Her soul screamed for what her body would not give, but what Nicholas would. He pulled away from her punctured neck at last, his chin wetted in red, and his eyes glistening like opals.

One last thrust up her love canal sent her soul rending into ecstasy. Her body convulsed and her womanhood undulated around Nicholas' cock, overcome with stimulation. Sweat bloomed across her cold, pale skin, while her breasts jiggled. “Ohhhh...” she moaned, not having the strength of flesh or will to say anymore. Her body was molten with joy.

Nicholas opened his wrist and held it over her mouth. She sucked. His blood flowed, but it was nothing like she had tasted before. It was not salty or coppery to the palette, but thick and sensuous. She gulped the mixture in between gasps, letting it spill down her neck and onto her heaving pale breasts.

Streaks of red marred the immaculate canvas of her ivory flesh. His hot seed lashed her inner walls, while his dark gift flowed down her throat. He had filled her on every level possible. His growls, as he held her down and sprayed load after load deep inside her, made her shiver and twitch. She was on the edge of blacking out from so much sensation.

The vampire pushed himself as deep as possible. He grunted, as the head of his cock spewed one more thick strand of seed at the mouth of her womb. “You're mine, Eve...forever.” His sculpted form fell over her like a collapsing temple, having gifted her all the divinity he could.

Eve stared ahead wide eyed. Pleasurable tingles still plucked at her senses. Rivulets of blood ran from the twin holes in her neck, while her lips and chin were coated in reds richer than any wine. Her limbs felt stiff and cold, even as new power thrummed through her chilled flesh.

As inhuman light began to reflect through her irises, she smiled. Nicholas had taken her life that night.

But he had given her something even more priceless in return.

Gray early morning light peaked below the curtains in Eve's room.
I didn't have curtains.
The slight illumination stung more than usual so she turned over. Right into the face of Nicholas. “Oh...” she whispered. “Where are we?”

The vampire smiled and ran his fingers along the sensuous curve of her hip. “Far away. From your home and mine.”

“I uh...I had some things I wanted to get from my apartment-”

“Impossible. After last night's...incident...the cops went to your place first.”

“Am I a suspect?”

Nicholas shrugged. “Doesn't matter. I doubt they think a little librarian did all that. They'll have their hands full with all the interesting things on the corpses.”

Eve rose up from the bed, but held the sheets to her breasts. Only now did she realize how different she felt. She had felt silk before, but now the cloth felt super smooth, as if her fingers skimmed along air. She picked out multiple shades of shadow along the walls, perceived multiple spectrums of color through the filtered daylight before turning away. She basked in the panoply of scents in the air, not having a name for most.

“Oh my god,” she said and looked to him. “This is what you feel everyday?”

Nicholas smiled, his eyes full of a joy she had not seen before. “Yes. The last time I saw someone so enthused with the gift...it was myself. It will take some getting used to. Enjoy the newness while it lasts.” He got up from the bed and slipped a white shirt around his muscular chest, still healing from the night's wounds. “Come tonight, we leave this place forever.”

“What about the Undying Brotherhood? They're your family...”

“They're also a band of brothers, not boys. They can do without me for a few days.” He reached down and gave her a kiss, his hands cradling her pale face. “For now...” he caressed her cheek and looked straight into her eyes. “I have a new family to take care of.”

Bianca hated those Merrick boys. She wasn’t alone.
They were nothing but trouble, but no one dared stand up to them. Look at one Merrick cross-eyed and before you knew it you were at war with the whole clan. She kept to herself and bit her tongue when they wrecked her diner on a regular schedule. It was a small price to pay to stay on Merricks’ good side.
Braden Foster never was much good at keeping his opinions to himself.
The leader of a nomadic band of bikers, Braden was accustomed to facing trouble head on, usually with fists. Occasionally with a crowbar. This policy didn’t win him many friends, but it rarely mattered. He never stuck in one place long enough to weather the consequences.
That was before he came to the aid of a pretty lady restaurateur.
He figured he’d at least earned a cup of coffee for his trouble, but when he stepped between the Merrick boys and Bianca’s diner, he lit a spark that threatened to burn the whole town to ashes. It was up to him to put it out.
Bianca knew a gathering storm when she saw one.
But which was more frightening: the storm between Braden and the Merricks, or the one brewing in her heart for a man arguably more dangerous than the Merricks themselves?
