Pulling up into the semi-circle driveway and stopping the car across from the double width front doors, Cam took his sunglasses off, turned, and kissed Annie. It was a sweet but intense kiss filled with warmth and need. “Welcome to my beach house.”

It was enormous as it spread across from one side of the native vegetation to the other. It wasn’t ostentatious or pretentious like the house she had grown up in. He mother thought bigger was better and the more gaudy the decor, the more it showed their wealth and status in society. Cam’s home was inviting and even though it looked the size of a football field, it exuded a relaxing appearance. Annie couldn't take her eyes off it and was eager to explore.

They gathered their bags from the back of the Jeep and descended the sandstone steps that led from the center of the driveway to the front doors. Cam fiddled with the keys and flung open the doors. He let Annie go on through and she stopped dead still in the expansive foyer. Her eyes couldn’t stop darting around from one place to the next. It was light, airy, and smelled as fresh as the ocean like someone had come in and cleaned a few days before.

Annie whirled around and looked at Cam. “Can I go and explore?”

“Knock yourself out. I’ll put our gear in the bedroom.”

Annie couldn’t wait to look around the secluded home. It was decorated simply with white hues accented by aquamarine tones. Walking through a small sitting room with bookshelves lining both walls, she entered the most amazing open plan area. A huge kitchen was to one side of the room and a long, wooden table, big enough to fit at least twelve people, stood grandly next to it. A comfy looking ‘L’ shaped lounge sat snuggly in the opposite corner of the huge area. Glass windows stretched across the front of the house from the floors to almost ceiling height. They framed the most spectacular panorama she had ever seen. On the other side of the landscaped gardens situated next to the house, was the thundering noise of the ferocious waves coming from the Pacific Ocean. Annie stood mesmerized by the scene in front of her. It was fierce and haunting; yet she knew this was the one place where Cam could relax, forget about life, and just be.

Annie felt Cam’s presence behind her before either of them acknowledged the other. Cam’s right arm slid across the top of Annie’s chest and he held her close to him. He took her other hand in his and they silently watched nature take its course. The sun was slowly going down, filling the sky with many shades of blues, pinks, and bright orange.

“I don’t know why you ever leave this place.” Annie sighed.

“Trust me. I wish I didn’t have to. I don’t get to stay here nearly as much as I want to.”

Annie, ensconced in the warmth of his embrace, had questions she needed answers to but Cam read her mind before she even had the chance to ask him.

“I promise we will talk and I’ll tell you why we are here.” Annie just nodded her head a little. “But first thing’s first. I need to get you naked and into my bed. NOW!” he said with such insistence Annie almost saluted his demand.

Picking her up into his arms, Cam carried his featherweight girl into the main bedroom and placed her on the enormous bed. Annie didn’t have time to take in her surrounds as Cam pounced on top of her and kissed her hard. Their tongues dueled in an unrestrained exercise before it was cut abruptly. Cam quickly lifted the white cotton shirt over Annie’s head and flicked the fasteners of her bra undone in one go. His skills for undressing women were obvious and showed he had done the deed plenty of times. Annie went to unbutton her jeans but Cam shooed her hands away. He got up and stood at the end of the bed. Taking off her cherry red sling back heels one at a time, he then ran his hands up her legs, stopping for a moment to rub the inside of her jean clad thighs. Annie could feel the flames being ignited inside her and wanted Cam to hurry up.

He unfastened the button and slowly slid the zipper down before he placed his hand inside her jeans and rubbed her clit through her moistened panties.

“Mmm, just how I like you.” He smirked with a cocky grin.

“Well, I know how much you like to get wet. In and out of the ocean.”

“Oooh, Nashville, you have no idea what seeing you like this does to me. I’m using all of my self-control not to take you hard. Fast. And to my selfish satisfaction,” he drawled slowly as he leaned down and kissed her taking everything and more from her mouth.

With her heart pounding against her ribs, Annie challenged him. “If that’s what you want, then do it. And, if you happen to make me come too, I’ll reward you later.”

“Shit, Nashville. You’ve got a deal, baby.” Cam kissed her quickly before jumping back up and yanking the jeans and panties from her legs in one swift movement. Being scrutinized by the Surfing Sex God was not as scary as it might have once been. Annie loved that he looked at her body and appreciated it for what it was. Curves….blemishes….the lot. Slowly removing his t-shirt and pulling down his shorts, Cam stood in front of her in his black boxer briefs, which did little to hide his excitement from her. Slipping them down, Cam caught Annie licking her bottom lip when she saw how rock hard his erection was. She was sure he would lose this deal; but then again, she knew better than to discount anything he promised.

He crawled his way onto the bed as Annie scooted back a little and then held herself up on her elbows. He hovered over her, their noses almost touching, when he said, “I want to take you without protection. I hate wearing those fucking rubbers.”

Surprised by statement, but not shocked, Annie hesitated just a little. She was on The Pill but knowing his womanizing ways before she was in his life, had her concerned.

“It’s….it’s just…” She couldn’t finish her thoughts.

“It’s okay. I promise, baby, I’m clean. You have nothing to worry about.”

Annie needed to trust him. She wanted to trust him. But was it worth taking such a big risk over?

Her hesitation spoke volumes to Cam. He needed to respect her and stop being such a selfish prick. He placed light kisses all the way up her belly, between her breasts and up to her neck. Annie’s eyes rolled back and she closed her eyes in pleasure. Cam’s lips reached her ear and he whispered to her.

“Don’t worry, Nashville. I’ll wait. Taking you completely will be something worth waiting for.”

Annie felt like a weight had been lifted off her chest. She didn’t know it was there, but Cam’s declaration of waiting for when it was the right time for her made her feel cherished. Staring into each other’s eyes, Annie could feel Cam’s excitement still growing. He wasn’t deterred by her uncertainty at all. Stretching her neck up just a little, Annie crashed her lips to his. It didn’t take long for Cam to remember that he had a deal to fulfill.

Waking the next morning, Annie stretched and smiled as she thought about the previous night’s bedroom antics. Outside the glass, French doors, the morning sun was just rising. She looked over to Cam’s side of the bed. He was missing but on his pillow was a post-it note.

Taking the note in her hands, Annie held it against her chest and sighed. She couldn’t believe a guy had left her a note. It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. One, Annie thought, guys only did in the movies. She looked at the clock next to the bed that read nearly six o’clock. Plenty of time to shower and have some breakfast ready for when Cam returned. She knew he would be famished, especially after skipping dinner the night before as well as being out in the surf.

Annie’s luggage was at the foot of the bed. They hadn’t got around to unpacking it the night before. She found what she needed for the shower and walked into the én-suite adjoining the bedroom. It was huge. White marble flecked with subtle grey streaks was tiled from floor to ceiling. There was a long vanity with a mirror, which ran its full length. A shower, which extended from one wall to the next, was bigger than any shower she had seen in her life. A tiled bench ran along the back wall, which also had a recessed shelf in it. Multiple showerheads were popping out from all three walls as well as directly from the ceiling. But it was the bath Annie was most impressed by. The oval sculpture stood proudly alone with the best view in the room. Looking out of the full-length windows, you could see the beautiful coastline below with the raging waves crashing against the shore. Annie was going to make sure she took a swim in the tub before they went back to Sydney.

Never one to dilly-dally in the shower, Annie wrapped a large, fluffy towel around her and walked out to the bedroom. She slipped on some underwear but was unsure what to dress in since Cam hadn’t told her what they were doing that day. Annie went into the walk-in closet and opened a few of the drawers finally finding a black t-shirt. Dropping the towel and popping it on, the t-shirt just reached the top of her thighs. It would be just fine while she made breakfast for the two of them. Making her way to the kitchen, Annie was hoping there would be fresh food or at the very least, some cereal in the cupboard. She was surprised to find the fridge had been fully stocked with everything from fresh fruit to eggs and milk. Deciding pancakes and fruit were the easy way to go, she busied herself finding the right tools for the job. The kitchen had everything she needed and more. It was state of the art and looked brand spanking new. ‘
Maybe the house had only recently been finished,’
Annie thought.

In no time, the pancakes were made and warming in the oven, the fruit was cut, and the table was set for two. Annie had just placed the strawberry smoothies she had whizzed up into the fridge when her stomach made its feelings known on having to wait any longer for breakfast. She looked over at the stainless steel clock hanging on the wall. Nearly eight o’clock. Surely, he was going to be back soon. Opening the fridge again, she removed one of the smoothies and went out onto the balcony. There were stairs leading up from the beach so he would see her waiting for him on the outdoor day bed. Laying back, Annie closed her eyes and took a breath. The fresh, salty sea air filled her lungs and awoke all her senses while calming any doubts she had about the past few weeks with Cam.

Pounding on the wooden stairs broke Annie away from her thoughts. She opened her eyes just as Cam was reaching the balcony landing. He was a sight to see. Just wearing a pair of red and black boardies to go with his cheeky grin, he had beads of water dripping from every inch of the tanned and chiseled body. Annie swore her nipples hardened just at the sight of him.

He stood at the end of the day bed and looked her over with a broad grin forming on his lips. “Well, well. Good morning, Nashville.”

“Morning. How was the surf?”

“It was pumping out there. Felt great to be back at home turf. It’s been a while since I surfed it.”

“What’s kept you away?”

“The tour mostly. Then you add sponsor commitments, catching up with friends, wom…” he stopped mid-sentence.

“Women? I know there were girls before me. I’ve heard about your reputation.”

“Yeah. Well, looking back at it now, I can’t say I am too proud of it.” Cam looked sheepish.

Annie sat up on her knees and shuffled her way over to be directly in front of Cam. She placed both hands on his chest, now dry from the warm morning sun beating down on the deck, and leaned her head against him. She could hear his heart beating faster than normal. Cam drew in a deep breath and let it out slowly. His arms snaked around her and they just held each other. Annie knew his playboy rep played on his mind and he hated it being brought to attention. That was why she felt he needed her reassurance with just her touch.

Annie could stay in his arms forever, but knew he had plans for the day. She turned her head and her lips kissed over his heart before pulling away slightly.

“I’ve made us breakfast.”

“Really?” he questioned her as she stood and led him to the table.

“Yeah. Your fridge was really well stocked. I thought I might struggle to find anything to eat.”

Cam let out a small chuckle. “That would be my mum. She would’ve stocked the fridge, cleaned and aired the house out, and made sure everything was ship shape.”

“How sweet of her.”

Cam sat at the table while Annie brought in the food. She laid it all out and sat down opposite him. He was just looking at the feast before him. Feeling puzzled at his actions, Annie asked, “What are you waiting for? Don’t you like it?”
