"Enjoy," he said, giving her a wink as he headed towards the other end of the bar, "I'll let Ronnie know that you're here."

Rachel sat for what seemed like an hour, sipping her drink slowly. It was good and she was glad that Ronnie had good taste in alcohol.

A thick brown skin woman was walking towards her and Rachel tried to look behind her to see if Ronnie was close. She must have heard the bartender wrong again.

"I'm Ronnie," the woman said, her voice husky, "and you must be Rachel."

"I think there's been a mistake." Rachel was not looking for a woman and Ronnie's picture had definitely been male.

"No mistake at all, baby girl," the woman cooed, "I've been looking forward to meeting you ever since you responded to my message." She moved in closer to Rachel, causing Rachel to move back in her seat. "You're even more attractive than your picture. I'm so glad that we can spend the night together."

"I was expecting a man," Rachel said, trying not to sound freaked out at the turn of events. "Even my profile stated that I was looking for a male companion. I'm strictly dickly."

Ronnie seemed to have already considered this excuse. "You haven't spent time with me yet, baby. I can do everything a man can do and more."

“No offense, but I'm not into fucking females.”

“Bitch, fuck you then. Tear yo' ass up outta here. You stupid bitch!”

One more left. She didn't like how her odds were looking at this point.

Robert was local, which put Rachel a bit more at ease, and suggested the place to meet.

There's a little BBQ place on 20th and MLK that I like to go to. I thought you might like it too, if you like soul food.

Actually, the restaurant was only a few blocks away from Rachel's work and she ordered out from there frequently for lunch if she was ever tied up at the office. Their rice and beef tips were her favorite and she was excited to sit in the actual restaurant and eat her food.

She arrived about fifteen minutes early, too excited to wait any longer than that. The hostess recognized her immediately and asked if she was dining in or ordering out. Rachel asked to dine in and the woman looked completely ecstatic with the idea. From what Rachel had seen the few times she passed by on her way home from work, there weren't that many diners during the day and the restaurant seemed to live off of the deliveries and take out orders they received. There was nothing wrong with the inside of the restaurant, if anything, it looked almost as though it had opened yesterday. The booths were large and nothing was worn or faded from too many people sitting in it. It felt like a nice change of pace for Rachel to sit at one of the small tables and wait to have her order taken and she hoped to find some time after work to come in again, even if it was just her.

"Is this seat taken?" a gentle but firm voice asked, jolting her out of her thoughts. Rachel looked up and into the most handsome man she had ever seen was smiling down at her.

"No it's not. I was saving it for you, Robert."

Robert sat himself across from her, a goofy looking grin on his face. Rachel internally thanked God for looking out for her because he looked exactly like his profile picture. He was a little taller than she imagined, but at least he didn't tower over her like Richard did.

“Relieved?” Robert asked, his eyes lighting up with amusement.

Rachel cleared her throat and smiled, impressed that he’d read her so well already. “Well maybe a little,” she admitted. “You just never know these days who is going to turn up.”

“That’s true,” he agreed. “And I have to say you look even more beautiful in person, Rachel.”

She felt a blush spread across her cheeks and took a sip of her water.

“Thank you.”

The waiter came by and took their order, and Robert spent the next hour asking the requisite dating questions as they ate. But Rachel didn’t mind, because he seemed genuinely interested in what she had to say. He never took his eyes off of her, making his interest in her clear.

Rachel liked that about him, that she didn’t have to guess what he was thinking. It was right there on his face for the world to see. And as the night went on, she grew comfortable in his presence. She guessed he probably had the effect on all of the people he met, that natural charisma that put them at ease.

They spent the meal laughing and smiling as they talked, and on more than one occasion Rachel’s foot had brushed his beneath the table. Between the sly glances they cast each other and the flirtatious banter, Rachel was disappointed when they finally paid the check. She wasn’t ready for their time to be over just yet.

As they stood up to leave, Robert pulled out her chair like a true gentleman and escorted her to the door. Once they were out on the sidewalk and under the moonlight, Rachel couldn’t help but feel lost in the depths of his eyes as he gazed down at her.

Robert pulled her in for a hug, and he felt warm and strong against her. Rachel’s pulse quickened as his scent washed over her, and as she closed her eyes, she felt his lips touch hers. They were soft and sweet, and tasted of the wine they’d drunk with dinner. Delicious.

“This may seem a bit brash,” Robert whispered as he pulled away. “But I don’t want the evening to end Rachel. I’m enjoying your company so much.”

“I don’t either,” Rachel admitted with a shy smile.

“Well then,” Robert said, “if I were to propose going for coffee, or perhaps even back to my place…”

“Your place,” Rachel answered quickly. Too quickly.

Robert simply chuckled and leaned down to kiss her on the cheek.

“Sounds great,” he said. “I’ll drive.”

Robert drove to his place while the soft sound of music filled the car. Rachel couldn’t control the nervous anticipation creeping over her. She hoped that Robert would take things further tonight. They were clicking so well, she knew he felt it too.

Robert pulled into his parking space and escorted Rachel inside, gesturing to the sofa.

“I’ll get us a couple drinks,” he said, disappearing into the kitchen.

Rachel sat down and took a look around while she waited, smoothing out her dress and hair. Robert returned a moment later with two glasses of wine, and took a seat beside her.

“You look nervous,” Robert remarked, setting his glass down on the table.

“Only because I really like you,” Rachel said.

Robert pulled her into his arms, and kissed her. But this wasn’t the kind of kiss they had on the sidewalk. This was a hungry kiss, with a promise of so much more.

Rachel purred softly, and Robert grunted his approval, pulling her onto his lap. His hands began to caress her body through her clothing, and suddenly it felt like she had way too much on.

Desire shot through her, and her lips parted, allowing Robert access. He accepted with gentle caresses of his tongue against hers. And then he moved his sensual kisses down along her jaw, and to the tender skin of her throat.

She could feel him hardening beneath her, and she rocked her hips against him eagerly. Robert scooped her up into his arms and carried her down the hall to his bedroom, never breaking the kiss.

Rachel watched with interest as he laid her across the bed and began to fumble with his own clothing. He was a sight to behold, so caught up in his desire for her that he was struggling to free himself.

Once he was naked before her, she couldn’t help but stare. His body was sculpted so perfectly, in that supremely masculine way that women went wild for.

Robert helped her pull her dress off, and she quickly wiggled out of her panties and bra. And then his hungry eyes were upon her, burning with his desire.

He lowered himself over her, his head bobbing down to the swells of her breasts. He took one of her nipples into his mouth as he stroked the other with his hand.

Rachel arched into his touch, silently begging for more. Her core tightened with need, and Robert was quick to oblige her. His free hand skated down her navel, and gently caressed her soft folds, slick with her desire.

The man had skilled fingers, and his eyes devoured her as he worked her with his mouth and hands.  He widened his tongue and wrapped it gently around her clit while pressing and sucking at the same time. He simultaneously worked his fingers in and out of her pussy. She had to look down at him because she couldn't believe how good she felt. She caught his eyes as he continued to please her in response to her body spasms and rhythmic motions. Rachel shattered around him, a long intense moan vibrating from her chest as the orgasm powered through her.

And then she was left to catch her breath for a moment, closing her eyes and nuzzling into the soft material of the bed. She heard the rip of a foil packet, and then Robert was back, his eyes lit with yearning.

He nudged at her entrance, and Rachel wrapped her hands around his biceps as he entered her slowly. He closed his eyes as he pressed himself inside of her, a sigh of satisfaction escaping his throat.

And then he began to roll his hips, working in and out of her in the sexiest motion she’d ever seen. He showered her in kisses, paying special attention to her neck and collar bone.

“Do you mind if I turn you around? I want to make your fantasies come true.” he whispered.

At this point, she felt that she would surely miss out if she said no.

“Of course.” she managed to pant out in between breaths.

He smoothly turned her around on all fours and after licking up her thighs, he held her breast in his hands as he entered her again. His movements were just as calculated and intentional as before, but with more power.

He pushed himself deep inside her before pulling his dick out and letting the tip sit on the edge of her entrance before ramming inside of her over and over again. He made her miss him each time before he reminded her of what she missed. It wasn’t long before the combination made Rachel combust once more as she lost feeling in her arms, which caused her to lay flat on her chest with her ass in the air.

This action and her tremors sent Robert over the edge as well, and he came inside of her with a groan. He turned her around, laid out over her body and kissed her long and slow, giving them both time to catch their breathes...and to savor the moment.

After a while he disappeared into the bathroom. When he returned he cleaned her with a soft warm cloth, and then crawled back into bed, pulling her against him.

“That was… incredible,” he whispered.

“I thought so too,” Rachel agreed with a sleepy smile.

“Stay the night with me?” he asked.

“I’d love to, Robert.”

"...and then he kissed me with so much passion I swear I saw stars. Don't laugh, Justine, it may sound like something from a romance novel, but it's what I was feeling at the time..."

Her coworker was beaming, trying to contain her
giggling. A few of the office girls had joined in on their little talks about 'Love Hookups' and were eager to find out how everything had gone with Rachel's love life. "Let me just say that I'm so glad you're happy with him. It's nice to see you passionate about dating again after your record of disaster dates." Justine quirked an eyebrow at her friend. "By the way, what about the other two? Heard anything from them recently?"
