I had the idea for this book about a year and a half ago when I was first writing Fan Girl.  I actually wrote half of this book before putting it aside for Fate’s Mistake.  Not because I didn’t want to write it, but because I was scared.  You see, I know wives that have lost their husbands, and was deathly afraid of offending someone. 

I picked it back up over a year later at the urging from my husband.  So thank you, Love.  You were right about this one.

Thank you to my editor, Edee.  You loved this story before I had let anyone else read it, and championed Jules and Brody the whole time.  You rock!

Thank you to anyone who was touched by this story.  It’s the most personal I’ve ever written, and that’s saying a lot, given Fate’s Mistake.  The story isn’t over, how can it be with so many ends left untied?  Part two will be coming.  ;)
