Piper was barely aware when Merck withdrew his cock from her mouth. The intensity of the pleasure being created in her body was enough to make her focus all her attention on it. She closed her eyes even as her mouth was captured for a deep, soul-searching kiss. Moaning, she wrapped her arms around Jace’s neck, kissing him back feverishly.
The fire, which she thought should have begun in her belly, her womb, or her pussy, began at her toes. They twitched and tingled, curling. Her legs tightened around Jace’s waist, pulling him more deeply into her body.
Nothing in Piper’s entire life had felt as good as it did when her men made love to her.
The large hands beneath her hips slid upward until they were under her shoulders, lifting her into the kiss that seemed to go on forever and took her to a place she had never been before. Piper whimpered as the intense combination of pleasure and pain began to wind around and through her body like flaming ribbons.
Her world exploded into a fiery shower of passion. Her fingers curled into sweat-covered, satin skin, holding on tightly to Jace’s broad shoulders as she screamed her pleasure. His low, tortured moan filled her ear as he bucked against her, driving in twice more before becoming almost deathly still. Only their hearts pounding together told her they hadn’t died and gone to some other plane of existence. She gasped for breath as her world slowly began to right itself. Her limbs were like jelly, quivering with lingering ecstasy, as they fell away. Jace moved, giving her one last, lingering kiss before moving to her side.
As Piper lay there trying to focus her eyes and her brain, a hot mouth attached to one of her aching breasts. She looked down to see Merck suckling. When she thought there couldn’t possibly be anything left inside her to bring back to life, the tugging of his lips around her nipple fanned the embers of her desire. The suction pulled at her nipple and her breast. It pulled beneath her ribcage and zapped her heart, before spreading out over her belly, narrowing back as it swept over her swollen mound of female flesh. Her pussy quivered back to life, beginning to ache. When a large, callused hand cupped her other breast, toying with the rigid nipple and pulling it, she knew she was lost.
Moaning, her hips began to move restlessly, as did her legs. Piper reached for Merck, pulling at his shoulders. Her nipple was released with a distinctly wet pop before he looked at her with a wide, grin on his face.
“Do you want me, baby?”
“Yes, I want you,” Piper whispered, stroking his face.
The grin broadened. Merck was so handsome. Both men were. He winked. “Then you’re going to get me. Spread those pretty legs for me.”
Just as Merck pushed his cock into her throbbing pussy Jace settled beside them. His hands caressed them both. He whispered his love for Piper, for Merck. His hands teased them until they were lost once again.
It was all so perfect.
Until there was a quiet knock on the door.
“Sis, do you want me to walk your silly monkeys?”
Piper didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Her brother was still following her hours after they had left the ranch to go to work. They had opened the doggie spa and the help center on time. She and Mink helped the spa’s employees get dogs settled. Clients were arriving every few minutes for the spa’s services, dropping off dogs and cats. Most had been there the day before and seemed excited to be back. There were two more cats. They weren’t quite as excited.
Though she knew Mink felt bad, she really wished he would stop doing everything for her. When she thought the shelves could be arranged in a way that would be better, he put action to words. When she was about to clean the bathroom, he ran past her to do it. He also vacuumed the floor and mopped it and sat at the desk to be ready to answer the phone. The look he gave her just dared her to argue with him. For someone not wanting a job, he sure was doing a lot.
“Mink, I know you didn’t mean to interrupt anything. You’ve already apologized unnecessarily. Things happen. We’ll try to be more obvious next time.”
Mink blushed, his ears glowing red. “Is that even possible?” he muttered, reaching for a pad of paper and a pen.
“What was that?” Piper laughed as his ears all but caught fire.
“I like your house.”
The subject change was a welcome one. Piper really didn’t want to discuss any aspect of her sex life with her brother. That would just be too weird.
“I like it, too. It has a good feel to it. I know you don’t want to borrow money from me, so I’ve been thinking about a solution. I’d have to talk to my guys, though I’m sure they’ll agree, but I think you should move in with us. That way you can save money for a place in town, if you want to move back to Silver.”
She and Mink stared at each other for several seconds. Her brother’s handsome face was so open. There wasn’t an emotion crossing it she couldn’t identify. There was hope, longing, loneliness, and pain. He had been by himself since his mother’s death. Sliding her hand across the counter, she held it open palm up. It only took a moment for Mink to place his on it palm down.
“Come on, Bro. Move in with me and the guys. There’s plenty of room. Your bunny will like having friends around while you’re at work. I bet we can even find something for you to drive back and forth to town.”
“You really want me?” Mink asked finally, his voice low, as if he couldn’t trust it.
Piper swallowed the lump in her throat as she felt her eyes misting. No, she wasn’t going to cry. As jumpy as her brother was he would probably go running from the help center if he thought he was the cause of it.
A smile curved her mouth. “Yes, I want you. You’re my brother and I’m so glad we’ve found each other. I always wanted a brother or sister and now I have one.” Going around the counter she wrapped her arms around him. “You’re the best.”
The door opened and they separated. Piper smiled at the family coming in with a large, exuberant, mixed breed puppy on a leash. The man was holding it with two hands, while the woman stood back with her three small children. It was obvious that they were likely in need of several of the programs the help center offered. She stepped forward and held out her hand, expertly staying out of the way of paws and a happy tongue. The man risked shaking her hand before gripping the leash tightly again.
“Hi, I’m Piper. How can I help you?”
“I’m Steve Michaels and this is my wife Mary, and our children, Amy, Ashley, and Andrew. We’d like to get this guy here fixed. And maybe get the obedience lessons we read about.”
Piper was pleased Mink stayed right there to watch and listen. She asked him to get the forms for the spay/neuter program, as well as the information on free obedience classes. The dog would also get a microchip so he could be identified if lost. Before she knew it her brother was handing the clipboard over to the mother, who began filling it out. As he did so he asked questions about the dog, getting more information they would include in their records for future use, potentially offering more reduced-fee services at a later date.
Her pride and pleasure increased as her brother called the veterinarian’s office to set up a date for the dog to be neutered. He was all smiles and very friendly in a businesslike way. He was the perfect man to run the help center. Now all she had to do was convince him of that.
“I think you’ve found your new manager.”
Piper hadn’t heard Jace come up behind her. The open door between the two stores made for easy access through the office area.
“Yes, I think he’d be perfect. He’s handled everything like he’s done it a hundred times before. Now all I have to do is convince him he can do it.”
Piper nodded with satisfaction as she leaned against Jace’s side. As their bodies touched she couldn’t help but think of the hours of pleasure they had shared together, and with Merck. She straightened and retrieved the clipboard that had been left behind on the table. Mink smiled and took it from her, heading back around the counter.
“That went well,” Mink said as he looked over the papers he had placed in a new folder. “Those people were really grateful they could get help taking care of their dog. I’m glad we could help.”
“And it’s one more animal that will have a better life because he’s being taken care of. He’ll make a much better dog once he’s neutered and he has gone through obedience lessons. He’ll be happy and they’ll be happy.”
“Yeah, he won’t want to go look for a lady friend.” Mink giggled and went to get the spray bottle with disinfectant and cleaning cloths.
“That’s exactly right. One more happy animal and no puppies to have uncertain futures.” She glanced at Jace. “Hey, Mink, would you mind if I left with Jace for a little while? There are some things we need to get while we’re in town. What do you think about vertical blinds for the fronts of both stores?”
Mink glanced at the wide expanse of glass. “Yeah, that might be a good idea. The sunlight does come in during the afternoon. Blinds would help keep the air-conditioning from running so hard to cool the place this summer.”
As he began wiping down the table and chairs, Piper and Jace left without looking back. The arm around her tightened and she savored the pleasure which ran through her body as they walked toward the center of Silver. It was one of the things she loved about the town. Almost everything was within a fifteen minute walk.
“Mink has what it takes to run both the help center and the spa for you. He’ll just need some training and I doubt that would take long. He seems very smart.”
“I don’t think anyone has ever asked him to do much. He never got the chance to go to college. He took care of his ailing mother, which is commendable, but from what I’ve gathered, she smothered him. Until she died Mink didn’t have much of a social life. He’s very shy at times, but he’s getting better. He was great with the family that came in with their dog.”
“I saw that. He’s a natural with people when he’s not thinking about it. And I heard what you said about him living out on the ranch with us. I’m good with it. Merck is, too.”
“Is? You talked to him?”
Jace chuckled. “Yes, I talked to him. He’s all for it. If Mink’s up for it, we’ll help him move his stuff out to the ranch.”
“We better not go too fast. He needs to have time to make his own choices.” Piper sighed.
“What about his crappy job? I hear his boss is a real pile of rat shit.”
She frowned, not liking the possibility that someone wasn’t nice to her brother. Was it true? She would have to find out. “I hadn’t heard that. Mink’s not really one to complain.”
“Merck told me. We’ll just have to see if we can get your brother to change jobs along with his residence.”
When she realized what was happening, she felt more than a little shame. “No, we’ll leave it all up to Mink. I’m not taking over his life like my father did with mine. I won’t do that to him. As much as I want to do everything for my brother, I know I have to let him make his own decisions.”
Jace nodded and smiled, then reached out to pull her close for a kiss. “You know, Merck doesn’t know what he’s missing by being a boring old rancher. He could be here kissing you right now.”
“I’ll help him catch up on what he missed when we get home. Now, we probably should go look at blinds for the front windows, or Mink will figure out that we left him alone on purpose. We’ll find out when they can come over and do measurements. I completely forgot to get carpet runners for the floor. That dog this morning was skidding everywhere.” She chuckled. “It’s one more thing to put on the list.”
Jace kissed the top of her head. “I’ll go to the hardware store and pick up a couple runners while you look at the blinds. Is black okay?”
“Perfect.”
Once Jace had left her in the store Piper looked over the displays with a salesperson at her side. It didn’t take her long to make her choice and an appointment for the store to send someone over to take measurements. She was pleased to learn that they could be installed before the end of the day.
She was just walking toward the front of the store when Jace came back for her, carrying the rolled up runners under one muscular arm. She joined him on the sidewalk, got another kiss, and fell in beside him as they walked back.
One of the very best things about Silver was the friendliness. As they made their way back the people they saw in cars, or walking the sidewalks as they were, all waved and called out a greeting. It made her feel good. She had been in too many places where people just put their heads down and moved as quickly from point A to point B as they could. She never wanted to go back to that. She couldn’t. It would be like having sunshine stripped away from her life.
Piper was surprised to see several cars parked in front of the spa and help center when they finally got back. She and Jace glanced at each other as they hurried across the parking lot. Since there were three people working in the spa, they went to the help center first. There were five family groups inside, each holding a pet or pets. It was total chaos. But if finding the place packed with noisy children, barking dogs, and a yowling cat or two wasn’t enough of a surprise, seeing her mother and father handing out clipboards with paperwork, holding the leash of a rather rowdy dog, and patting the back of a crying child, most definitely was.
Mink was in the middle of it, looking surprisingly calm. Her brother was in his element. He was exuding confidence as he managed to get everything under control with a few words. It was then Piper decided she would have to put a notice in the paper that bringing pets to the center was not absolutely necessary. It would help reduce the risk of chaos returning too often.
