I knock on Carly’s door ready for a fight. This isn’t going to be good, but it has to happen. If I want a future with Samantha, I need to distance myself from all things Plunge.
The door swings open to a very naked Carly Wise. What the hell is she up to?
“Carly, put your clothes on.” I walk past her into the condo.
“Hello Adam. Come in Adam. God, it’s nice to see you too.” She purrs.
I feel her fingers gliding down my back. I shiver at the touch. She’s up to no good.
“We need to talk. I’m done with Plunge and I’m serious. I want everything on the site that includes me taken down. Today.” Carly huffs out a laugh as she steps away and picks up a robe off the floor and places it on.
“Not happening Adam. You’re insane. This is my career you are fucking with. You might want out, but I’m just getting started. Those videos will help elevate me to the next level.” She begins filing her red finger nails like she doesn’t have a care in the world. She’s not taking me serious and I’m about to lose my cool.
Carly stalks back towards me. When she’s inches from me she slides her flimsy robe off her shoulders. It falls to the floor leaving her bare to me again. I gulp. She’s gorgeous, it’s the truth and at one time there would be no thinking about it. She’d be on her back, but today other than admiring a sculpted body, there is nothing. Sam has my heart and not even naked Carly has me faltering.
She drops to her knees in front of me and goes to undo my jeans. I grab her wrists and bring her to her feet. She leans in to kiss me. I’ve had it.
“Enough fucking around Car. I’m serious. This isn’t a joke. You know I’m with Samantha.”
“She’s not good for you. She wouldn’t know how to please you like I can.” She leans in once more causing me to drop her hands and step back.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about. I love her. It’s time Carly. The videos have to go. If you don’t cooperate I’ll get my attorney involved and I guarantee your career will really be over. Lets sit down and take care of this.”
She looks at me for a second. When she sees that I’m not budging she nods her consent. The process is grueling, but I knew she wouldn’t make it easy on me. When everything has been deleted and all traces of NYCsir are gone I get the hell out of there.
I have a skip in my step as I walk down the crowded sidewalk towards my father’s building. I’m on my way to see him about taking him up on his offer of a job. If Sam and I are going to be together, I need to have serious employment. My only concern is what this will mean for her.
There is a strict no employee relationships clause for management. I’ll have to make sure that my father gives me a position where we can possibly find a loophole. I know Sam loves her job and I wouldn’t want to ruin it for her.
My father is not going to know what to do with me when I not only ask for a job, but I also announce that I am in love. The thought has me floating on air. Ridiculous, I know, but I am.
“Excuse me, ma’am,” I say as I dodge yet another passerby. I’m weaving in and out of people to get there. I’m ready to get my life started.
Nothing and nobody can ruin this day for me.
My phone starts to buzz in my pocket. I pull it out with a goofy grin. I look down at the screen and see Carly’s face. “Ugh,” I can’t help but groan. She’s the one person who can dampen my spirits. The thought of her makes my skin crawl.
You know how you made me sign that NDA? Well, you said I couldn’t tell anybody who you were… You never said anything about showing them. #sorrynotsorry #fuckwithmymoneygetfucked
What the hell?
I click on the link and everything in me goes cold.
There on the screen is not only a video I don’t remember making, but it clearly shows my face fucking Carly. “Fuck!” I yell, causing random strangers to look my way and stare me down.
I take off in a sprint. I’m one block from my dad’s and I have to hurry. Maybe I can get to Sam before she sees this. I dial her number and it goes straight to voicemail.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
When I finally reach the front doors, I’m out of breath and panting, but I don’t stop. I push through and run right past security.
When Rick sees me, he calls out, “Adam, everything okay?”
I wave him off and keep going.
When I finally reach the 21
st
floor, I run straight to where I know Sam is seated. Going from cubicle to cubicle, I keep coming up empty until I see a young man. “Sam Brighten?”
He points across the aisle to a cubicle diagonal from his. I rush over only to find it completely empty save for the typical office products.
There’s no sign of anything Sam.
I rush to my dad’s office and throw open the closed door. He looks up from his desk and when he sees me he tells the person on the other end of the phone, “Stan, I have to call you back.” Placing the phone down slowly he looks back up to my face.
I see it then.
Disappointment.
“Dad, I can explain.”
He puts his hand up to halt my words. “Adam. How-why? I just don’t understand how you could be so stupid.
Plunge.xxx
? Are you trying to put me in my grave early?”
I shake my head. “I didn’t post that. Carly-she taped that without me knowing.”
“But according to the site, you’re this NYCSir person. You’ve done numerous videos. Is that stuff true?” He looks absolutely horrified.
“Dad, I know how this looks, but I can’t get into it right now. I want to tell you it’s all a lie, but . . . I can’t. I promise we’ll talk soon and I’ll tell you everything, but right now I have to find Sam. Where is she?”
He looks confused. “Samantha Brighten?”
“Yes, Dad. Where. Is. Sam?” I don’t have time for this.
“What the hell do you want with her, Adam?”
“I can’t get into this right now. All you need to know is I need to find her. I’ve been dating her, Dad, and she has to hear me out.”
“She asked to go home early. She wasn’t feeling well.” He gives me a stern look. “She isn’t a play toy, Adam. She’s a good girl and a damn good employee. If you’re the cause of her not being well, we have more problems than one.” His fatherly protection of her warms me. I love that my father is fond of Sam. My Sam.
“I love her. I’m in love with her.” The shock registers on his face because he can see the seriousness in mine.
“Why am I just hearing about this now? What the hell is going on, Adam?”
“Dad, we’ll talk about all of this, I promise. I just have to find Sam first.”
Without a second glance, I run back out the door. I just hope that this hasn’t caused me to lose everything.

as tears roll down my cheeks, streaming in dark black rivulets from my mascara. As I swipe them away, my hand is stained with the reminder of his betrayal, each drop of moisture reminding me of what he did.
He lied to me.
He filmed one more video. With

Obviously, I’m not enough. A part of me is dying inside. If only I could say I wish I never met Adam, but that would be a lie. I don’t regret a moment of our time together. I will never regret loving him, even if it was only for a brief moment in time. I let out a breath and try to slow my breathing to calm myself. With each inhale and exhale, the tears start to subside.
But then I hear a pounding on my door and Adam’s voice howling on the other side. “Sam! Sam, please let me in!” I ignore him as he continues to pound his fist against the door. “Sam, please! Let me explain. It’s not what it looks like. Sam, I won’t stop knocking until you let me in,” he pleads.
On shaky legs, I walk towards the door and pull it open. Adam looks like shit. His eyes are dark and rimmed with deep circles. He reaches his hand towards me and I pull back, not allowing him to touch my skin. The feel of his hand on mine would break my resolve completely.
“Sam. I promise, it’s not what it looks like.”
“Did you go to Carly’s after you left me?”
“Yes, but not like you think.” I narrow my eyes at him. “Please, let me explain. Can you do that?”
I nod but don’t speak. I don’t trust myself with words right now.
“I went there to tell her I was officially done with her and our arrangement. She was livid, but I made her sign into Plunge with me and remove everything, and then I closed out the bank accounts. She was irate when I left but I never thought she would do something like this.” He lets out an audible sigh. “That video, Sam, that was months ago. I know it’s hard for you to believe, but if you look at it, I promise you’ll realize it’s true. Look at my face. My hair isn’t that long, and my face isn’t that disheveled. Please, Sam.”
My heart pounds and I try to recall the image because I refuse to look again but I know he’s right. And as my brain wraps around that notion, I realize not only is he right but that also means he’s telling the truth. He did leave Plunge for me. He does love me.
Without having to think twice, I run towards him, throwing my arms around him and kissing him deeply. His lips meet mine with a hunger and desperation that I’ve never felt before. Like he’s afraid I’ll change my mind and run from him.
“I love you, Sam,” he affirms through kisses. His arms lift me up and I wrap my legs securely around his toned waist as he starts to stalk down the hallway and into my bedroom.
Placing me on the bed, he rips off my clothes until I’m lying completely bare. I watch through swollen eyes as he strips his own clothes off and then crawls up my body, aligning his rock hard length against my core. My legs spread wider and with one quick thrust, he pushes inside my heat, his mouth colliding with mine as he enters me. Once fully seated inside, he starts a tortuous rhythm.
Shallow, deep.
Shallow, deep.
I tilt my hips up to match his thrust as he pounds away, branding me. Telling me he owns me. That I’m his. With each kiss, I show him I am. I’m his completely. He owns every part of my soul.
“I love you,” I moan and he picks up the pace, his cock ramming so deep within me now that I don’t know where I stop and he begins. We’re two pieces of a perfect puzzle.
His hand reaches between us, and he finds my swollen clit. He presses down, then rubs his finger in a circular motion until my body can’t hold back. With a primal scream, I explode and he follows suit, his warm cum flooding my womb as he proves that no one else will ever have me but him.

in each other arms for so long that the seconds and minutes bleed together. Finally, he turns his body to me, his brows are knit together.
“What’s wrong, Adam?” He looks at me wearily.
“I don’t know what I’m going to say to my father. He saw the video. I need to go over there. But I don’t know what to say.” I take his hand in mine and squeeze gently.
“We’ll go together. We’ve got this. As long as we’re together, we’ll be just fine. If I can get over the fact that you did this, so will he.” I smile up at him in reassurance. “But can you do me a favor? Can we tell your dad we met at a bar?”
He laughs at this. “Your secret perversion is safe with me.”

my dad’s office and I take a deep breath before knocking twice. My dad’s opinion of me matters. It’s how my misguided start into the world of pornography happened. I wanted to prove to him I could make it on my own two feet.
“Come in,” he yells from the other side.
Here goes nothing.
When my dad sees Sam and I hand in hand, his eyes go back and forth between the two of us. “He talked you into dating him still?” he asks Sam apprehensively.
“No persuasion needed, sir. Adam is a good man, albeit stupid.” She shrugs and he smiles at her.
He waves us both to sit across from him. “What can I do for you two?” Getting right down to business.
“Dad, I came to explain my recent scandal.” He doesn’t say a word, which serves to spike my nerves tenfold. Nothing is worse than a quiet Paul Cresley.
“I wanted to make money on my own and being the stupid, immature, boy that I was, I fell into

. At the time, it didn’t seem like I was doing anything wrong. I purposely kept my face out of every shot for my privacy and to uphold our reputation. I didn’t know that Carly took that shot of me. She’s mad that I ended our business relationship and so she lashed out by posting a video that I did not approve.”
Dad looks back and forth between the two of us. “You’re okay with his actions? I don’t take you as someone who would be okay with this, Sam.”
“I don’t like the fact that this is how he chose to make money, but I have a past, too. The difference is that I didn’t post it for the world to see. Although it doesn’t make me happy, I won’t hold him accountable for something that he did prior to our relationship.”
He grimaces. “He made pornography, Sam. It’s disgraceful.”
“While I agree that it wasn’t the best option, I’m thankful that he chose to work with one partner, not many. I forgive his lack of judgment.”
He’s silent, so I decide to speak. “Dad, I’m not proud, but the damage has been done. My name is out there, and I did disgrace you. I want to make it up by turning my life around and contributing to society with a proper job.”
“I’ll contact my attorneys, and have them draw up legal action against Ms. Wise. They will also contact the web host for

and have them remove all of your videos from Carley’s archive folder. The damage has been done, but perhaps we can work together to bury this,” my dad replies.
A small sense of relief comes over me. I want all traces of

gone. I want to move on with my life, with Sam. I don’t want to be an embarrassment to her or our future children. Assuming she wants that.
“Thank you, Dad. I’m so sorry I disappointed you.”
He looks at me closely. “I can tell you regret it, son. We’ll work to get past this. I can’t claim I didn’t do stupid things when I was young. I bet your mother is rolling over in her grave right now.”
I cringe at the mention of Mom.
“There’s still a job here for you, but until this blows over you need to start in the marketing department. You’ll work your way up to management.” I smile, knowing that means I’ll be working closely with my girl, and she’ll be able to keep her position.
“Thank you, sir,” Sam answers, and I repeat.
“Get him set up, Sam. He starts Monday, and he’ll need a cubicle. Just don’t put him next to yours. I need you two to get work done, and from the way he looks at you, I can tell you’d only be a distraction.” He smiles, and she nods.
We stand and walk towards the door before my father says, “You two look good together. I’m glad you found each other. How exactly did that happen?”
Sam looks at me with wide eyes. I look down at her and smile. “We crossed paths again at a restaurant the same day I met her here in this office.”
