1. Read Deuteronomy 7:26 and underline it in your Bible. Put a star next to this verse. Why do you have to be concerned about what is in your child’s room?

2. Read Psalm 101:2-3 and underline it in your Bible. Write it as a prayer over your child. (“Lord, I pray that

will behave wisely and in a perfect way. I pray he (she) will walk within his (her) house with a perfect heart…”)

3. Read Joshua 24:15 and underline it in your Bible. Put a star next to it. Write the last sentence out below as a proclamation.

4. Write out the words, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:25) on something and display it in your house. (My husband and I found a rock in our backyard, wrote this scripture on it with indelible ink, and set it on the hearth of our living room fireplace. You could do something as simple as writing it on a piece of paper and posting it on the refrigerator door.) There is more power in doing this than you can imagine. What did you write the verse on? ____________. Where did you display it?

5. Does your child ever have nightmares, unexplained fears, or periods of aggressive behavior? _________. Explain.

6. Write out a prayer asking God to show you if there is anything unholy in your child’s room, or anything that should not be in there. (For example, one of my friends prayed this prayer and God revealed to her that there was a stuffed animal in her young daughter’s room that was scaring her and causing her to have nightmares. There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with the stuffed animal, but it was not blessing this particular child. When she removed it, the nightmares stopped.)

7. Read Exodus 40:9 and underline it in your Bible. Have you ever anointed your child’s room in that same way? ____________. Why or why not?

8. If you have never anointed your child’s room and prayed over it, would you be willing to do so now? ________________. Write out a prayer asking God to break every yoke of the enemy and cleanse your child’s room of anything unholy. Then pray it in the room.
