ISCOGRAPHY

A. QUEEN

With myriad books and websites that chronicle Queen’s extensive singles discography, this section makes no attempt to offer anything comprehensive; rather, this discography serves as a basic reference to the songs listed in Part Three. Only 7” vinyl singles are mentioned, though, once Queen started to release 12” vinyl and CD singles, new mixes and additional B-sides were added for their desirability. These releases are listed only if they offer something new or previously unavailable on the standard 7” release. Where applicable, chart placements in the respective countries appear in brackets at the end of each entry.

The UK singles are listed first; it’s important to note that all Queen’s single releases, up to and including ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’, were distributed by EMI, with Parlophone distributing subsequent releases. The US singles follow, with all singles up to and including ‘Staying Power’ distributed by Elektra. Capitol distributed singles starting with ‘Radio Ga Ga’ and concluding with ‘Scandal’, with all subsequent releases distributed by Hollywood.
