This work of fiction could not have
been completed without the support of family and friends, to whom I remain

Rakasa
is the shortest story I’ve published thus
far. It began as a useful distraction that I’d write on the days when the much
larger book
In the Shadow of Extinction
wasn’t working for whatever
reason. Being able to step away from that epic to write something mean and lean
kept me energized. I had a great time working on
Rakasa
and I hope to do
another story like it sometime in the future.
