“I should talk to Tabitha.” Elle said.

“I’ll tell her you’ll call.” Garrett offered.

“Thanks Garrett.” Victor

“Where exactly is home, Victor?” Elle asked wrapping her arms around his middle and holding on. She put everything else aside, this is what she needed. Quite time with Victor. No beasts breathing down their necks, know bad guys waiting in the wings.

“Wherever you are. But for me, the Infernos. But I will take you anywhere you want to go,” he said.

Elle had never felt so loved in all her life. “I would love to see the Infernos.”

“Then hold on.”

“Wait?” Elle said stopping everyone in their tracks. Elle turned to Christian “What was Dante talking about, what stone?”

Christian nodded and Flashed away only to return a moment later holding the gravestone from the first night, it was still covered in her blood. The Blood Call scribed into it. He handed it to Victor.

“Dante didn’t want you to do something you shouldn’t, or something you would regret. But it looks like…” Christian smiled he and Garrett turned and disappeared down into the hole.

Victor looked at the gravestone. “I just need to add my blood and your soul belongs to me.”

Elle bent down and clutched it to her chest. “Aren’t we headed home?”

Victor felt his heart warm and he wrapped his arms around her and Flashed them both to the Infernos. To his fortress, his bedroom… where no woman had ever been.

Elle looked around, it was so beautiful it took her breath away. She wanted nothing more than to explore but she had something more important to do right then.

Victor led her out onto the balcony, the colors of the sky were so beautiful and everything Victor had ever said they were. Elle turned to him. “I love you Victor.”

Victor pulled the gravestone from her and placed it on the stone table and held his hand over it. But Elle stopped him. “You know my soul already belongs to you right?”

Victor looked up, his heart in his eyes. “Does it?”

Tears sprang to her eyes. “Yes and so much more.”

Victor held his hand out, and pulled a knife out slicing his palm open. He took ahold of Elle’s hand “Will you Blood Bound with me? Let me give you my soul,” he said with tears in his eyes. “Let me show you the depths of my love.”

Elle gave him her palm and he cut her gently wincing when blood welled in her palm, they clasped their hands together.

“Hold on tight,” Victor whispered.

Elle smiled. “I’ll never let go.”

“Forever?” Victor asked.

“And ever.” Elle whispered.
