He watched as she hit it with a scrunched face that showed both pleasure and pain before he followed her into the orgasmic void, feeling his own darts of pleasure shoot into the condom.  Mel collapsed on top of the little beauty, panting hard.

"Hey, you're squishing me here!" Chrome called from around his collarbone level.  Raising up to lever himself against the armrest he glanced down and saw her smiling again.  "That was good, Hardwood.  Really good."

"Ah, thank you.  It was, ah, good for me, too."  Mel said back uncertain what he was supposed to say but knew somehow that he was required to speak.  "And, ah, thank you, Fargo.  For sharing and all."

"You got it.  Want to go another round?  She gives great head, man."

"Ah.  No, but thanks.  Long day and all that."

In the time he'd been conversing with her man, Chrome had removed his condom with a tissue, cleaned him up and tucked him back into his pants.  Having nothing left to do, Mel stood and buttoned his jeans.

He didn't know what the protocol called for after having sex in a semi-private place with the woman's man watching.

Was he just suppose to nod and walk away?

Kiss Chrome goodbye?

Shake her man's hand?

She solved everything by going up on tiptoe and kissing his cheek.  "This was fun.  If you're ever back in Sheridan, look us up."

"Thank you," Mel replied which came out a lot more sincerely than the first he'd offered.  "Need to get back to my boys."

Fargo held out his hand as Mel passed and he took it with a firm grip which ended in a fist bump.  While he couldn't imagine himself ever sharing whoever became his woman, he was grateful the couple had been so upfront about their particular rules.

When he re-entered the main portion of the clubhouse, he found most of it empty but there was still a few hearty souls still hanging around at the bar.  One of which was Silo with a girl on each side.  Spying Mel, the large man gave him a chin lift.

"Where're we sleeping, man?" Mel asked.

"Rooms are in back, down the hall.  Any open door is available for our use," Silo said before dipping his head back down to listen to what one of the girl's was saying.

Mel went back out to his bike and removed the saddlebags he'd borrowed from Dare and took them in with him.  Spying an open door, he wearily closed and locked it behind him before flopping onto the bed.  Man, he felt like he could sleep for a week.  He rubbed a hand down his face and glanced around the room which was pretty much furnished like the room he'd been in at his compound.  Same cheap furniture, same bowl of condoms on a nightstand and an adjoining bathroom.

Still in his prone position, he removed his boots and clothes.  There was no way he was going to be able to sleep without getting a shower in first.  As he walked naked to the small enclosure, Mel realized that the cleansing he so needed wasn't just for hygiene.  Between the beat down of Hart and the session with Chrome and Fargo he felt dirty and soiled.  Which didn't help with the thoughts of the clean and sweet night he'd spent taking Lulu, something he held tight and close to himself.   In such a way that the dirtiness of the day colored the memory of her.

Yeah, he needed a shower in the worst way.  Even though he knew no soap, no matter how strong, could remove the dirt he felt inside.

Chapter Nineteen

"Here's how we're gonna fuckin' play it," Silo started, his huge hands cradling his second cup of coffee.  "We're leaving in fifteen and riding with two Sheridan Hellions behind until we're just outside Billings.  According to Wolf, the shift change at County is at six.  If John Law decides to pursue, we're fuckin' flooring it and our two Sheridan brothers will take the heat.  Understand?"

The other three men, in various stages of wakefulness, nodded.  Mel had been awakened by someone's meaty fist beating the shit out of his door.  Glancing at his cellphone he'd seen it was only just after five in the morning.  Looking at the men in his group around the table that held a selection of donuts and their coffee cups, he performed a closed mouth yawn.

"What about the fuckin' Czars, dude?" Dice asked on a raspy mumble.  Mel didn't know where the other man had spent the night or if he'd spent it alone, but his brother looked tore up from the floor up.

"Once our asses are close to Livingston, we're to fuckin' call Trey.  The Czar pres won't give fuckin' immunity until Trey gives him the time we'll blow through.  And that's
all
we're fuckin' doing.  Just blowing the fuck through.  No stops."

"Fuck."  Mel's ear caught Transport's whisper that had an edge to it and wondered if his fellow recruit had the same question in mind that he did.  What happened if no immunity was given?  There were only four of them against a club suspected of having over forty members.

Bad odds no matter which way you looked at it.

Wolf's tip seemed to be right on the money since they had no trouble in their time going through Big Horn county.  As the Hellion Sheridan team slowed behind them, all four men in Mel's group raised their fists over their heads in thanks to the other Hellions for including themselves even if they hadn't been needed.

Stopping at a combo diner/gas station on the west side of Billings, Dice advised them all to chow down.  "We've still got a fuckin' long way to ride and we ain't stopping again until we're clear of Belgrade, yeah?  So fill those Hellion bellies while you've got a goddamn chance to do it."

At the reminder of what they still had to face on their ride home, Mel's stomach clenched.

"I'll call Trey when we're ready.  We'll stop in Big Timber and give him our fuckin' time.  Any of you fuckers remember how long it took us to ride through Czar land?" Silo asked, pushing back his plate after wiping his mouth and fingers with a napkin.  All the other men shrugged.  Mel pulled out his phone and checked.

"It's thirty-six miles.  So that'd be what?  Twenty minutes?" he announced looking around the table.

"Christ, that ain't so bad," Transport mumbled around a mouthful of food.

"Lots of shit can happen in less fuckin' time than that, man," Dice warned.

Mel too had found his trepidation about traveling through Czar territory easing at how little actual distance were between the three towns.  But, his balls pulled up sharply with Dice's caution.  And Silo's next words didn't help.

"I'm carrying two and Dice has three.  Transport?"

"Two and a knife."

"Hardwood's got his knives, so it'll be up to the fuckin' three of us if this shit goes to hell," Silo recounted.  The large man's blue eyes hit Mel's.  "If that happens, you push your hog to the goddamn red-line and get fuckin' gone.  As soon as your ass is clear, you fuckin' call Trey.  You dig me?"

Mel muttered his, "yeah," on a swallow.

God, he didn't like this.  Didn't like this shit at all.

*.*.*.*.*

The night before, a security system had seemed like such a uncomplicated thing to initiate in order to protect myself.  But meeting with Bishop had shown me that it wasn't simple in the least.

He asked tons of questions about the size of my apartment, the placement of doors and windows and even the
composition
of my doors and windows.  What type of locks they currently had.  Did I want my system to be able to contact me by phone and computer or just by phone?  Did I want key, keypad or both kind of entry systems?

My mind was whirling and found myself saying, "I don't know,"  and "I'm not sure," more than a lot.  Which ticked me off.  I didn't like having to give those kind of answers except to get myself out of trouble.

I saw him glance down at the notes he'd been making.  "I have a hell of a system in mind, beautiful.  But the fucker doesn't come cheap."

"It's on the club," came a deep growl from the doorway.  I half-twisted in my seat and saw Trey enter.  Sitting in the visitor chair next to me my big boss, or the big-dog as his fiancé called him, gave me a small grin before his eyes went to Bishop.  "The club is paying for Lucille's system since she feels threatened by the Ghosts."

"Gotcha," Bishop replied before looking at me and grinning.   "Then you're good to go, beautiful girl."

I smiled and then cleared my throat for my next request.  "Uhm.  The car place called regarding the repairs on my Fiat.  They said they found the problem and can do the work but since I didn't leave credit card info with them they won't start on it until I put down a deposit.  I was wondering if I could get a ride and get the money to them at lunch?"

I saw Bishop and Trey share a long look and I wondered what each of them were thinking.  Bishop rapped on his desktop before pulling out his cellphone.  "Where's your ride at, Lu?"

"IMPORTance.  Gritty said it was the best place for an my Fiat."

Within seconds, Bishop had the manager at the automotive repair place on the phone and was giving the man an earful.  "The fuckin' car was towed by an HC truck, Mark.  That should've been your man's first fuckin' clue, dig?  Yeah?  Big fuckin' deal.  Boo-fuckin'-hoo.  When can she pickup her car then?  Okay.  Uh-huh.  But she better fuckin' get the Hellion discount.  No.  Try again.  Okay.  Yeah, yeah, that's cool.  I'll tell her.  Thanks.  But, Mark?  This better not ever fuckin' happen again, you get me?"

I saw Trey give Bishop a chin lift when the call was disconnected.  "Don't we have five brothers working there?"

"Yep and I know Mark counts on 'em as some of his fuckin' best.  Think we may have to make a personal visit there soon since one little assistant manager fucker seems to be getting too big for whatever covers his balls."

I heard Trey snort before he shifted his face back to me.  "Is there anything else, Lucille?"

"Just one last thing.  Uhm.  I need to buy a gun, a specific gun.  A Kel-Tec P3AT .380 pistol to be exact.  Where do I go to get it?  And where do I go to learn to shoot it?"

I glanced up at both men to see they were staring at me with their mouths open.

"Y-you want a what?"  Bishop said disbelief in every syllable.

"Now, Lucille…" Trey started on a lecturing note.

"I'll take you, baby girl," came the laugh from Bishop's office doorway.  Dare made his way into the room before he took up a place against the wall.  "Perfect gat for the perfect girl.  I know just the place to get it and I'll take you to the range to do the instruction, okay?"

"Dare, I don't think she fucking needs…" started Trey.

Bishop too finally found his voice.  "Brother, a gun in the damn hands of a woman is a dangerous fuckin' thing and…"

"Aw, fuckin' shut it.  Our lil' Lu wants a little protection and I'm just the asshole to show her where to get it and how to use it, all right?"  Dare turned his smiling face to me.  "Don't know what your plans are this evening but I'm available."

"She's having her fuckin' security system installed today, dickwad, and won't have time for you," Bishop advised through clenched teeth.

"But I don't have to be there for you to put in the system, right?"  I couldn't imagine why Bishop needed me at home if his men were just going to be running wires and re-doing locks.  "I mean, I can give you my keys and then just meet your guy when he's finished to get the new set."  I realized I was nodding my head, encouraging Bishop to join me in agreement.

There was silence in the office as we all waited for Bishop's verdict.

"Sure.  We can do that.  But, I'll fuckin' be the one handing over the keys and the codes."  Bishop turned to Dare with a finger pointed.  "So you
will
have her back on time and when my man is finished!"

"Yes, Daddy.  What happens if we get back late?  You gonna ground her?"  Dare challenged with a chuckle.

"No, motherfucker.  Then we'll be throwing dogs."  I had absolutely no clue what Bishop meant by that but Trey started laughing which caused Bishop to sigh.  "Just have her back when the fuckin' work's done, dig?"

Dare laughed and pushed off the wall.  I saw him lift his chin to the other two before he shot me a wink.  I turned back to Bishop but before I could speak, Trey started.

"Have you resolved that other shit yet?"  Until I saw he was looking at me, I didn't realize he'd directed his question to me instead of Bishop.

"You mean from before?  Back home?"  My palms began to sweat and I found myself wiping them on my skirt.  "Uhm.  Not quite yet."

"You've got
more
shit going on?" Bishop was looking at me like I'd grown an extra head.  Not wanting to get into it, I simply shrugged.

"We're here if you need us, Lucille.  Real and true.  If you need help just say the word," Trey's voice was quiet yet firm.  I felt a lump form in my throat and it kind of ticked me off.  What Trey was offering,
had
offered, was what I'd overlooked in my panic of the night before.  That Trey Jackson, president of both Hellion Construction and the Hellion Motorcycle Club had pledged his and his men's help in protecting me, in helping me out.  Something that had been in evidence over the last half-hour.

"Thank you," I replied feeling like the words didn't really convey my relief and my sense of gratitude towards both him and the managers.

As I made my way back to my desk, I was aware that I was being treated differently by the men than I had been.  Before I seemed to be something Dare, Bishop and Silo were lusting and chasing after.  But ever since Silo's apology, the guys were acting more like I was a sister or another member of their family.  I was stilled called 'beautiful' and 'princess' but the inclusion of Dare's 'baby girl' seemed to sum up my new status with them.  Their talk, while still fun, wasn't as flirtatious and of the got-to-have-her variety.

And I was over the moon at the change!

Getting on with the rest of my day, the hours went by fast.  I was excited that I was able to get two of my plans in motion so quickly and knew I'd sleep a lot easier that night than I had the night before.

That was until I saw a long, very shiny, black Lincoln pull up right in front of the HC construction doors.  I didn't know a lot about cars but I was very familiar with those that were used as limousines having ridden in more than my fair share during my lifetime.

And at the sight, I felt my heart fall to my stomach.

Crap!  I'd been found!

Wanting to run and hide but so numb and weak I couldn't move a muscle, I waited to see who exactly would exit from the car.  My heart was practically beating out of my chest as I held my breath.

"Hey, Lu.  I forgot to tell you when Mark said…what the fuck?" Bishop came into reception his eyes, like mine, zeroed in on the car parked front and center of the entrance to HC Construction.  "Who the fuck is that?"

I watched in horror as I saw the top of a blonde head appear, each strand firmly sprayed into place and completely unaffected by the breeze that seemed to swirl through and around the forecourt.  The rest of the body followed, showing a trim man in a stylish and expensive suit.

Jon!

He removed his sunglasses and I saw his eyes squint as they moved over the different buildings and vehicles that dotted the Hellion compound as a sneer twisted his thin mouth.
