Megan felt her pulse quicken as she breathed in the heavy
scent of his masculinity as he held her against the wall doing a full perusal
of her body.  She trembled as his hands came up to cup her breasts and rolled
his thumbs over her sensitive nipples.  She felt them grow hard in response.
She then felt the warmth of his breath trace down her neck for a second before
his lips took one of her nipples between his teeth to bite down gently,
clamping onto the ever-hardening peak. He switched his attention to her other
breast and gave it the same treatment. Megan tangled her fingers in his thick
short hair and pulled him into her even harder.

He stepped away from her long enough to undress.  To
Megan, he looked like sin and sex.  Only they weren’t sinning. Megan never
wanted this heat to leave their marriage. She loved his control and dominance.
The way he looked at her nude body. She never wanted another woman to
experience this with Ryan for as long as she lived.

Ryan continued to suckle at her breast, and the sensations
were almost overwhelming. Megan cried out when he removed his mouth, and all
she could feel was cold wetness as he blew across her nipple, making it even
harder.  Her body was trembling as he supported her with his strong arms. She
felt his fingers seek out her swollen nub as his hand slipped between the
material of her underwear. She gasped, biting his earlobe.

“Take me to the bed,” she rasped breathlessly. “I want us
to make love on the bed.”

“Who is in control here?” His tone was brusque as he
lifted her arm over her head. He let his tongue lick down the length of her
arm.

She felt the shiver of anticipation all over her body.
“You are, for now,” she ceded.

He turned her around to face the wall; she felt Ryan rub
his erection along her wetness.

“Damn, you’re already wet for me.”

“Baby, I’m always wet for you.”

She made a low keening sound as he trailed kisses down her
spine to the rounds of her hips.  His hand worked her under around her hips and
down her legs.  He lifted her foot removing the garment and placed a kiss on
her ankle.  He repeated the same with the other leg.

Ryan then spread her against the wall as if he was going
to search her.  Starting at the calf of her leg, he worked his tongue up her
body, reaching that spot that made her convulse instantly.  She scratched at
the wall as he worked his magic. Drawing illicit moans and begging from her.
It was too intense, and she couldn’t take the punishment any longer.

He eased up her body, the heels gave her leverage as his
enormous heat pressed firmly against her bottom, waiting for entry. “You like
that, don’t you, baby?”

“Yes.”

“You know what I want to hear.  Tell me, Megan.”

His hands were planted on her hips as he gyrated against
her. “I want you, baby.  I want you now.”

With a single thrust, he entered her, making her gasp.
Taking all of his thickness was not an easy chore. Easing his way out, slamming
his way back inside her, he started the hard pounding rhythm over and over
again.  He reached around and began playing with her already sensitive nub.
Megan braced the wall, her cheek smashed firmly against it as she drew closer
to her release.

He mumbled in her ear. “Tell me how you want it, baby.”

“Harder…harder!” The sweat from her body and the close
contact with the wall caused a wet friction as he pushed against her from
behind.  She was on fire, her legs feeling too weak to support her.

He thrust into her with a force nearly sending her over
the edge. She needed a bar, a ledge, something to hold to keep from fall.  She
grabbed onto Ryan’s thick arm and positioned her body to give him better
access.  She heard him release an approval moan.

Several thrusts later, they both met their climax. With
his arm wrapped tightly around her to keep her from falling to the floor, he
kissed her shoulder tenderly, as he rested his forehead against her.

He eased out of her, and she moved from the wall and onto
the bed.  The music had stopped playing, and the flicker of the candles placed
around the small bedroom cast a romantic aura. Ryan kissed her passionately and
said, “Now we’ll make love the old-fashioned married couple’s way.”

She grinned and raised her brow. “You’re going to kill
me.”

He nuzzled her face. “No, I’m going to make love to you
again,” he said into her mouth.

“I don’t know if I can keep up with you. We’ll have to
make this one quick.”

“Screw that, Megan.  We’re done when I say we’re done.
Now open your eyes and look at me.  Your mouth is saying you can’t handle me,
but your body is saying you want me to give you more until it hurts.  Can you
handle more of me, Megan?  Can you take the pain?”

She obeyed hypnotized by his stare. His eyes were the
heart of him.  Everything that flowed through him showed in his eyes, and she
loved that. He leaned his head down to her lips and kissed her slowly, savoring
the taste of her. “I can take whatever you give me. I’m not weak.”  She crossed
her legs around his hips bringing him closer to slap flesh against flesh, belly
against belly.

He grinned and flexed his taut hips as he lifted himself
up and pushed down with all his strength into her body. Megan closed her eyes
and screamed out from the pain mixed with pleasure.

Her mouth opened as the girth and length of him seemed to
go on forever. Letting out a whimper, she felt her swollen walls expand. Her
battered body felt like it would be pushed into the mattress as he cut through
her. She felt his elbows plant just above her shoulders. His back arched, and
he drove into her repeatedly. Each time, he seemed to go deeper, grow harder.

Holding on to his muscled back, she bit down on her lower
lip as he moved, each thrust left her weak but wanting more. He buried his head
in her breasts, sucking on her nipples, pumping into her body in a rhythm only
he could do. She held on tighter when she felt his arm pushing against the
mattress to roll them over on the bed.

Now on top of him, he grabbed her by her hips and lifted
his hips. “Ride me,” he demanded in a husky voice.

“I’m in control,” she grunted as she planted her feet
beside him and pushed down. His eyes twinkled, but his mouth refused to
concede. Gripping her tighter, he pushed back, penetrating her with powerful
thrusts.  With her knees beside him, she put her hands on his shoulders and
threw her head back, arching her back into his thrusts. Weak but determined,
she began to counter his every movement with her own, taking him on physically.

Ryan clenched his jaw.  She saw him fighting the ecstasy
brewing inside him. He pulled her closer to him and sucked on her breasts.
Then, without warning, he lifted her again, this time pulling her to her knees.

Sweat poured from her face. She could feel his hot breath
against her bare, sweaty skin as he trailed a kiss down her back. He moved his
hand down in between her legs to her aching womanhood the sensation sent her
into a tizzy. She dropped her head to the pillow, ready to throw in the towel;
he’d won.  There was no way she could match his stamina. “Please, Ryan,” she
begged.

“Lift up,” he demanded.

She did as he commanded and grabbed the headboard.
“Please,” she moaned again, gripping the wood tighter with her hands, knuckles
white.

He moved closer behind her. She could feel his hardness,
prodding against her backside. There was no stopping him.  She arched her back,
hoping he was ready to release soon.

He gripped her hands to the headboard with his own. She
braced herself for his entry; then he pushed through her body in one long, deep
stroke. She tried to move away from him to ease the pain only; she was trapped
as he buried himself deep inside her.

She cried out again not believing the rush of pleasure
that suddenly flowed over her. “Ryan,” she screamed. “Yes! Yes! Oh God! Yes!”

He kissed her shoulder. “I love you so much,” he whispered
into her ear as he pumped harder. “I’m never going to let you go or let anyone
hurt you again.”

Her back arched.  Her moans turned to cries. Her body
began to quiver.

“That’s it,” he jeered. “Come with me.”

His words did it for her. He took her hair and fisted it;
pulling her head back to kiss her mouth. She felt herself create a tight
suction around him.

Holding her around her waist, Ryan pumped inside of her as
she balanced on her knees, tears running down her face, sweat dripping from her
body. His palm rested on her lower back as he gently pushed her down on the
bed. Her face was on the pillow. He fell over on top of her, holding her waist
pumping into her body finally allowing himself to release as she released.

Both were too exhausted to move or say a word. Ryan’s
heartbeat thumped against her back as he rested.

He rolled off her and wrapped her in his arms.  Megan drew
her knees up and curled against him.  He stroked her back and said, “If we
didn’t make a baby from that session, we should stop trying.”

Megan was too outdone to talk. Plus, she didn’t have the
heart to tell him, she wasn’t ovulating yet.

She rubbed his chest. “Are you sleeping?”

“Almost, but I have something for you first.”  He rolled
off the bed and got his pants from the floor. Digging in the front pocket he
removed a ring box and handed it to her.

She propped herself on the pillows and took the box.
“Ryan, what is this?”

“Your wedding rings.  The nurse took them off before our
surgery, and I took the opportunity to upgrade you.”

“I thought my rings were destroyed in the car accident.”
She cracked open the box.  “Oh my goodness, it’s beautiful. Baby, I love it,
but you shouldn’t have.  I loved my old ring.” “Now you have a bigger one to
show off.”

She leaped in his arm admiring the jewelry on her finger.
“I can’t wait to show it off.”

Chapter Twenty Three

August

“So what do you want to do today?” Megan asked, relaxing
in the lawn chair.  The late summer day was a written prescription to do
nothing but be lazy and drink lemonade. Well, for her it was.

Ryan lay on the weight bench. He grunted as he lifted the
heavy dumbbells over his chest, counting off as the sound of the metal clicked
together rhythmically. He put the dumbbells on the ground and sat up to drink a
sip of water. “You could work out with me.”

She crossed her feet together and groaned. “That doesn’t
sound like fun. Why don’t you take a shower and then we can go to a movie. I
feel like getting out. We haven’t been anywhere since Nick and Lincoln’s party
last month. We’re a young couple. We should be out dancing or listening to
music.”

He nodded. “We can go dancing. I don’t have the moves like
you, but I won’t embarrass you on the dance floor with my two-foot shuffle.” He
wasn’t a great dancer but could keep a beat to the music. The perks of teaching
had other benefits other than molding young minds; the students also taught him
a thing or two.

When he chaperoned dances, the kids often thought it was
funny to get the teachers on the dance floor and make fools of them. Well, Ryan
had to school some of his students in the art of mockery. He had been to enough
dances to learn the basic hip-hop moves.

She tossed a dandelion at him. “You can dance.  We had a
ball at our reception. Our first dance was a waltz then we broke out the real
music and had the line dancing going.” She giggled. “We really had fun that
night.”

He took off his gloves and tossed them on the grass. “Yeah
we did.”

Megan fidgeted in the chair. “We should plan a party or
something. I’m tired of sitting here doing nothing on our days off.  All we do
is work, Ryan.  There is a whole city out there for us to explore.  I know we
don’t have the money to travel, and we haven’t been in our careers long enough
to take extended vacations even if we did have the money to travel. But we can
find local stuff to do.”

“Megan, I’m sorry I can’t provide you the life you were
used to as a child.”

Her eyes became teary. “You should know by now that I
don’t need money to make me happy.  All I need is you to be willing to explore
with me.” Abruptly, she got out of the chair and went into the house.

Ryan cleaned up the gym equipment and stored it back in
the garage. He decided to stay outside for a while to remove his foot from his
mouth. He knew Megan wasn’t materialistic. All she asked was for him to try
different stuff with her. It wouldn’t take a lot of money for him to do that.

He closed the garage door, locking it. When he turned
around, Eddie was walking up the driveway.

“Hey, I come in peace,” Eddie said lifting his hands.

“I’m glad someone wants peace. What brings you by, Eddie?”
Ryan turned a lawn chair around backward and sat down.

“I haven’t talked to you in a month. I wanted to make sure
everything is okay on the home front and between us.”

Ryan dragged in a breath. “Everything’s cool. Do you want
a beer or are you working?”

“I’m off the clock at five like everyone else, Ryan. Maybe
not you. You wouldn’t let me explain before but I am not doing anything
illegal.”

“Hey, it’s not my business, Eddie. You were right, though.
You are better off now than you were years ago.”

“I have to take some blame too.  I would be shocked too if
I found out you were working for my wife’s father.”

Ryan tossed Eddie a beer and asked. “How did you meet, Mr.
Jones?”

Eddie opened the beer and took a long swig. “I was one
step away from living on the streets. I didn’t want to impose on you, and Kara
had just gotten married.  One night, I was walking downtown. It was late in the
evening and I saw a man who had just left the Horseshoe Casino.  He was on his
phone not paying attention when a group of young thugs attempted to rob him.  I
stepped in and helped him out.  He thanked me and took me for a drink and told
me if I ever needed anything to give him a call.  A few days later I did.  He
first offered me a job as his bodyguard.  It came with perks so I took it.”

Ryan crushed the empty beer can in his hand. “Damn, Eddie;
you should have called me.  You’re my family.”

“You were going through your own shit. I had to get my
shit together and do something with my life.  I like working with Mr. Jones.  I
now head up his security department when I’m not traveling with him.  It’s a
good job and I’m good at it.”

“He is a good man. I owe Mr. Jones for helping you out.”

“Hi, guys.” A soft voice floated from the distance.

Ryan looked over at Lolita and hitched his chin. Eddie ran
his hands through is dark hair and smiled. “Damn, who is that?”

“That’s’ my neighbor, Lolita.  She’s the same woman you
saw the other day.”

“I didn’t see her; I saw a figure in the window.  Is she
single?” Eddie asked, checking out Lolita as she worked in her yard.  She
pretended not to notice them looking at her.

“Yeah, she’s single, but I don’t know if she is seeing
anyone.  She has a kid, too.”

“Introduce me, bro.”

Ryan shook his head. “I don’t think that would be a good
idea.  Lolita and Megan aren’t exactly friendly towards one another.  She kinda
hit on me, and when Megan found out she wanted to rip her lips off.”

“That don’t have shit do with me.  Come on, Ryan; I need a
good woman in my life.”

“No can do, bro.  I don’t even want to think of Lolita
becoming Megan’s sister-in-law.  If you want to talk to her, you’re on your
own.”

Eddie popped the collar of his shirt. “I’ll handle my own
business.  I don’t need a wingman to get a woman.”

Ryan chuckled. “Handle it then. Anyhow, any leads on Iona
or Emin?”

“Nah, man.  It’s like they’ve both disappeared off the
face of the earth.”  Eddie stretched his neck to see over the fence. “Damn, she
is fine.”

“You know what, I’m going in the house to take a shower.
You go on over there and do what you gotta do,” Ryan said, getting up from the
chair. He hoped to have good news to tell Megan, but the saga would continue
until Iona and Emin were located.

Eddie raised his thick brows. “I’m just supposed to go
over there?”

“You the man, dude. Impress her with your charm and good
looks.”

“If she had the hots for you, I don’t have a chance. I
don’t have your body. I got the looks but not the body.”

Ryan flexed his muscles and grinned. “All men can’t be me.
I’ll check back to see if you’re still here after I get out of the shower.”

He walked through the house to the bathroom.  Megan was
soaking in the tub. “Oh, I didn’t know you were in here. I was going to take a
shower.”

Megan rinsed the soap off her body with a sponge. “I’m
sorry I snapped at you.”

“Why, baby?”

“I guess I’m feeling a little lost these days. I want to
put everything that has happened behind me and stop leaning on you so much.”

“Babe, I want you to lean on me whenever you feel you need
to.”

She looked up at him. “I want you to do the same when you
get overwhelmed at work.”

“It’s a deal.  We’ll be open about everything going on in
our lives.”

Megan squeezed more soap on her sponge and held it out to
him. “Will you do me the honors?”

“I need a bath myself, but I’ll bathe you instead,” he
said kneeling beside the tub.

“Get in with me.  We can bathe together.”

Ryan crinkled his nose. “I’ll smell like a fruit salad.”

Megan smiled wickedly, “Salad does the body good.”

He undressed and slid behind her.  His long legs reached
the end of the tub.  Megan nestled her back against his chest, and he wrapped
his arms around her, letting the warm soapy water envelope them. “I haven’t had
my daily dose of fruit today.”

“I love you, Ryan. I know I don’t say it enough. Without
you, my life would have no meaning at all.”

“We’re in this together and forever,” he said sponging her
back.

She nestled against his shoulder. “This fills so nice.
Just the two of us enjoying a bath together. All we need is a bottle of wine
and music to complete the ambiance.”

Ryan pushed himself from behind her and got out of the
tub. “I’ll be right back,” he said, wrapping a towel around his waist.

“Where are you going?”

“Your wish is my command,” he said, leaving the bathroom.
