“Good...good and sure of what?” I grimace and then let out a soft moan as my pussy stretches hard and sweet with the second cock spearing me. “Oh my God! I can’t...I can’t take this! Too big, too big...ahh!”

At the same time, both panther-men pull back so that only the tiniest bit of their tips are inside me, and I take a deep breath, as a swirl of terror and anticipation grip me and won’t let go. Inside I feel myself stretch deeper, harder, so, so, so wonderfully tight.

Again, my green vision flares to life, illuminating the tiniest things in the farthest parts of the clearing.

They push as one, spreading me, driving the deepest, most incredible, mind-melting pleasure I’ve ever felt hard against my body. When they pull back, they take my breath with them in a long, droning moan. In and out, back and forth, we move together, coming in time with each other.

Faster, faster I move my hips.

I twist my arms around, longing for the burning bite of the vines, and when I get it, I scream their names one after the other.

Harder, deeper, the two panther-men push. They’re both all the way in now, their long, slow strokes refusing me the hard-fucking, slapping pain and ecstasy I crave.

“Yes, yes,” I scream, “my whole body’s on fire! Harder, harder!”

My juice drips down, warming the inside of my thighs, and I hear one of them grunt. The scent of man, sweat, leather and velvet fills my nose, and then I get a strange hint of lilac.
Lilac? Does that mean...?

Before I can think, Whip’s hand gropes for my tits and his brother squeezes my hips so tightly that I cry out. Holding me anchored like this, unable to move, pinned between them and the ground with my arms helplessly bound, I can’t do anything but whatever they want.

The two monsters scratch, one of them bites the back of my leg, making me scream, and then finally –
finally
– ram themselves hard against my body, our flesh slapping together with meaty, heavy thuds, and sending me spiraling out of control, straight over the edge and into the abyss of climax.

Inside me, one cock twitches, then the other. Even coming, they’re in time with one another. Whip howls out and rams his hips up, filling my entire canal with his cock. A moment later, his brother roars out into the cold of the night and does the same, hunching forward so that his chest is against my naked body, his hips desperately surging forward, then pulling back before both men ram in again at the same time.

Then, all at once, as the first trickles of juice heat my cunt, I feel the panther-men swell up, round and hard inside me, anchoring one another, locking their cocks inside me with their swell.

My vision bleeds green then white and then fades as Whip gives me a scratch and every muscle in my body clenches up at once, refusing to let go. I twist my hands one last time, letting the vines bite as deep as they can. I yank, hard, and surrender, completely, to the pleasure washing over me.

I scream.

In waves that fill my body with hot pleasure, Whip first, then Whiskey, explode. My vision blurs just like with the wolves, and I lose touch with the ground. I feel myself hovering, either in reality or in my imagination, on a cloud borne by the two monsters howling out their climaxes between my legs as their juice drips down from inside me, warming my cunt, spilling to the forest floor and soaking into the leaves. The way I’m laid, hips up and legs spread, I feel their seed pool in the deepest parts of my sex, warming me from the inside out.

My breath and my heart flutter. I can hardly imagine the combination of emotion, energy and sex makes my mind float, bob on the waves, and sink below the surface. With each driving wave of my come, I breathe deep, hold it, and let the air rattle out of me as it drips through my lips, dissolving into the cool, silvery light of the moon.

“Ah...mmm...”

“Lookit ‘er,” Whip says, still inches from my ear. “Looks like she’s some kind’a angel or somethin’.”

“Hmm...” Milton’s voice is back, velvet and terrifying. “Don’t let her fool you. She’s the queen’s own blood. She has power – immense power, though she might not know it.”

Sweat drips down my neck and pools between my breasts as the monster speaks. I want to turn and look at him to make sure I’m not dreaming, but I don’t have one shred of energy left. Absolutely nothing. I can’t even summon the strength to turn open my eyes.

So I don’t.

Consciousness slips away from me just like it did before, with the wolves. There’s some connection between these heightened senses, I think, and my losing reality. But, just as the thoughts swirl around my mind, the two monsters between my legs push me up and off. I fall to the floor of the forest, and both of them hunch back to all fours and resume their fully-feline shapes.

Off into the trees, they go, leaving me there alone with Milton, who runs his finger between my legs, smiles, and sits down beside me.

“If you’re going where I think you’re going,” he curls a finger in my hair, and I smell the men on it, “tell the queen I done my job.”

***

“O
h! Oh, oh! It’s you again! I thought we’d never see each other after the last time.”

Little puffs of air tickle my face before I open my eyes.

“Is...hrm...it
is
you, isn’t it? I have a strange memory. Living for a few thousand years does that. Or does it? Or did a few thousand years live for me?” A familiar voice heaves a melodramatic sigh.

Lilacs.

“Sebas...where’s Sebastien?” I utter, still not completely in command of my senses. He seems to be a source of comfort for me.

“Oh honey, he’s second rate. That wolf is used up. Obsoleted and deleted. Those are computer words. Did I use them right?”

“What?”

“Never mind, I think I did. Why are you so fixed on that awful wolf? He’s so big and hairy and manly and strong and...Well I suppose I understand. But still, you’re part of something much more important than a little rut with a dog. Or dogs, I guess.”

Finally I will my eyes to open and Desmelyna flitters right next to me. She seems to change size constantly, almost with every breath. I push my hair out of my face.
She’s gorgeous, Jaz. If all that stuff about you being a faerie is true, you could do a whole lot worse than having this one for a mom.

“Why are you looking at me like that? Straighten up. Don’t look so confused all the time. No one wants a
confused
faerie princess. Except those nasty wolves, maybe.”

“What are you talking about, faerie princess? I’m just a normal girl from Louisiana. I have no idea why I’m here, or why I keep seeing green stuff all the time.”

“Green? You see that stuff? Oh this is more interesting than I thought. We? How many of us are there. Just me. This is more interesting than
I
thought. Wait, did you say Louisiana? Ugh! You humans – or halfsies – and your names. We’re in a
swamp
not a Louisiana. That’s a girl’s name. And a man’s name. Mixed together. Why are you trying to confuse me?”

“I...uh...sorry. It’s just a place name – Louisiana, I mean. That’s where I’m from. In the human world.” I say this as though it makes perfect sense. Really, I’m so lost that even a GPS with a harsh voice wouldn’t help. And Desmelyna’s strange, creeping dementia isn’t helping my mental acuity any.

Desmelyna pouts and sits on a huge leaf that turns into a chair and then back to a leaf. Then her wings turn into feathers. She snores for a second and stands up again.

“Good nap, good night. Oh, sorry, didn’t mean to fall asleep on you.”

“I – it’s fine.” I just can’t figure out how to take this woman.

I try to remember what it was that the cat monster wanted me to say, but that seems like it’s a million years ago and a million miles ago. It’s just outside where my mind can reach.

“He did! Excellent!”

“Who did?”

“Milton! He’s done very well. Although I’m not sure it took.”

It dawns on me – Milton – that monstrous panther. He wanted me to tell her he did his job. Whatever that means. It’s all very fuzzy, bubbly and weird.
Look out Jaz you’re starting to talk like her. Maybe there is something to the relation after all.

“Tell me, dear daughter, do they still talk strangely? The cats, I mean. Panthers, or whatever it is. You know they can turn into anything they want? Remarkable creatures. But they stay panthers. I wonder why not gorillas or lampshades? Although I suppose a lampshade wouldn’t be able to roger a princess.” She laughs haltingly at first, then bursts into a full on bellow. Then she coughs.

“God am I ever getting old.”

“What?”

“Nothing. Listen,” she flitters close to me and whispers in my ear. “You’re going to take over soon. At least, I think you are. Unless I’ve got something mixed up. And – serious time now – you’re going to stop a war. Not win one. Stop one before it starts.”

“How do you-”

“Stop a war before it starts?”

“No, that’s not what I was going to say.”

“Oh, nevermind what you were going to say.”

“I was going to ask how you knew what was going to happen when I’m not even sure who I am anymore.”

“I can see the future? How else? Can’t you? Of course you can. Or if you can’t, you’ll figure it out. I did.”

I stare at Desmelyna, mouth agape, unable to process what she’s saying.

“Close your mouth dear, I can see your fillings.” She crinkles her eyebrows at me and they glint green, then yellow. Darkness slips over her face as her eyes squeeze to crescents.

“Things will be bad. Very bad. They’ve been coming for a lot of years. More than a lot. A few. A few is more than a lot, right?”

I open my mouth to respond, but she interrupts.

“Doesn’t matter.  Sebastien is very, very old and very, very dangerous. The panthers are too. Between the two of them, their little gangs are threatening to rip the whole swamp apart. You’ve got to stop them. And you have. You’re carrying a baby. That baby will end the war before it starts.”

“Wh – what? How’s that possible?”

“Do you need a lesson?”

“No,” I suppress a giggle. “I mean, how can I possibly have a baby? And how do you know whose it is?”

“I can-”

“See the future. Right, I know.” I chew my lip. “Why did you side with the panthers, anyway? They seem so...”

“Gauche? I know. I took their side for a simple reason. They’re simple. But that doesn’t matter.”

She sits down and holds her head between her hands. Instead of laughing or scowling, Desmelyna looks like she’s about to cry.

“I’m...sorry, Jasmine. But you’re in a lot of danger. And it isn’t just you and it’s all because of something terrible I did. This was never supposed to happen.
You
weren’t ever supposed to happen. I just had to poke through the veil. Ugh.”

“What do you mean? I’m so lost.”

“I know, and it kills me to see. Bleedthrough. Our worlds are turning into one. Before you know it, the swamp will be part of your Louisiana. Or, even worse, Louisiana might invade the swamp. Imagine the horror if
humans
learned about all this... Imagine what would happen to all our beautiful trees and animals and shape-shifting creatures?”

As she talks, the green begins to fade. The world begins to turn back to its normal color, and Desmelyna’s shape begins melding with the forest.

“Oh, oh no! No, not yet! This can’t be happening! So much to tell you. Oh no, no, no! Before you go, think about these words. Don’t let anything get in your way, Jaz. Keep your head about you and everything will turn out just fine. I know it will. And I can-”

“See the future?”

“Ah! So can you! Right?” She giggles. “You’ll be just fine. There’s a hut hidden very deep in the swamp. Follow the sun. I think someone was trying to send you there before. Follow his advice, he’s right. Follow your heart, dear daughter. If you do that, you can’t go wrong.”

She turns away, and then snaps her head back around.

“Oh, one more thing dear. The war? The one between the wolves and the panthers? It’s over you. I think. That seems right.”

And then she’s gone. So was whatever she wanted me to remember. Fading like my memories of home, away into nothingness.

“Why can I remember? What did she say? Oh God Jaz, what is happening to you? Get a grip!” I stand and then immediately become exhausted and sink to my knees. I’m still in the clearing from before, still naked, and still covered in sweat, red marks and soreness. My wrists still burn where the vines were tied.

“Something about a battle? Don’t know, can’t remember.” I grab my temples and squeeze, expecting a headache after what must have been a dream. Tears roll down my cheeks.

“Jasmine! What are you doing? Get up! Is that any way for a princess to act?”

“N – no, but...who are you?”

“Doesn’t matter. Count to ten and then up! You’ve got work to do. You’ve got a world to save.”

The voice is familiar, but I can’t place it. Still, something about the tone gives me a little courage. I count to ten, push myself to my feet.

“Good! Now keep going. Toward the sun. Don’t look back, not even once. Nothing can hurt you unless you let it. This is
your
world now. It’s your turn.”

“Desmelyna?” I say, fighting tears again, the weight of what she says weighing me down. “Why can’t I see you?” I’m not even sure it’s her.

I just hope.

“My time is over. Yours is now. Remember what I told you and you’ll be fine. Better than fine. You hear? Follow the sun. I’ll be with you, at least in spirit, for a while still. I’ve got that much energy left. Follow-”

“Follow my heart,” we finish together.

I face the sunrise, and take the hardest step of my life.

The second one is a lot easier.

By the time the third step hits the ground, I’m running.
