“Fuck, baby,” I said and she opened her eyes at half mast. The lust in them did me in and I pulled her head closer as I came.

“Shit!” I shut my eyes and remained stone still as I released myself completely inside of her. I was so glad that I hadn’t jerked off; this was so much better. I wanted to make love to her until we both feel from exhaustion.

She pulled back and licked her lips before lying back on the bed.
My turn
.

I twisted my body around so I faced her legs and slowly tugged on her underwear until it came off. Her legs fell open. I took in a sharp breath when I noticed how wet her pussy was.

I rested on my knees and carefully leaned over her body, making sure my weight was off her stomach as I used my arms to spread her even further. I could hear her intake of breath as I lowered my lips from her knees to her inner thighs. Her legs smelled like lavender, and I took a moment to inhale deeply. I continued moving south and teased her with my lips as I traced the outer edge of her pussy. She was dripping with arousal and I inserted two fingers into her wet center.

“Oooh,” Peach moaned.

I felt myself getting hard over her pleasure.

“Dre,” she breathed out and tugged on my hair. She could pull all she wanted, but that wasn’t going to stop me.

I licked and teased with my tongue, as I tasted her. I wanted to soak up every last drop before, during, and after she came and then enter my cock inside of her until that was soaked with her too. Lust fired through my veins. She trembled beneath me and I only licked faster.

“Dre!” she gasped and tried to close her legs. No way was that happening. I held them open and continued to enjoy her.

“I’m right here, babe,” I told her. She was delicious. I wanted more. Not able to hold back, I felt her let go — her muscles clenched around my lips as I tasted and savored her orgasm. My inner elbow was lined with beads of sweat from holding myself up. I took one last swipe with my tongue before leaning back and facing her.

She placed her hand on my chin and pulled me down for a kiss. I moved in and parted her sweet lips as I caressed her cheek bones. She ran her hands down my back and I shifted in bed to rest between her legs. Again, conscious of my position and that I didn’t rest on her stomach, but feeling the bump skin to skin and her warm wet center sent my nerves on overdrive. I pressed myself against her and she moaned softly. That’s all I needed to hear. I slowed down the kiss until it was just a quick peck before holding my dick with one hand and rubbing it against her clit.

She lifted her hips and with her eyes on mine, I slowly entered her.

With her arms wrapped around my neck, I wanted to hold her for hours. I’d never seen anyone more beautiful. Her hair in a twisted mess around her face, her cheeks flushed with arousal, and her naked breasts swayed as I rode her.

“You’re beautiful,” I told her and rubbed her nipples with my fingers.

Her lips parted.

“How beautiful?” she asked and I drew lazy circles on her stomach.

“The
most
beautiful,” I assured her. There was no doubt.

She placed her palms on my waist and stopped my movements by sitting up herself and pushing me down to lie on the bed again. I opened my mouth to protest, but she placed a finger over my lips, hushing me.

I didn’t think to object when she placed both thighs on either side of me and gently wrapped her hand around my erection before lowering herself down over it. I hissed.

“You like that?” she asked coyly.

“I love it,” I rested my hands on either side of her hips and rubbed her lower belly with my thumb. “I love everything about you.”

“You want me?” she asked, and started to move her hips up and down.
Was she worried about something?
If she was, it was pointless, but I’d be sure to make that clear.

“Always,” I said and pulled her hand off my shoulder. I brought it to my mouth.

“You own me here,” I placed her hand over my lips and kissed her inner palm, “and here…” I dragged her hand to my heart so she could hear how it beat for her. “And here.” I guided her fingers down my chest and to the place where we were joined.

“You always have.” That won me my favorite smile, and she leaned over to place her lips over mine.

“I love you,” she whispered and I pulled her closer.

“I love both of you,” I said and she picked up speed.

I let my fingers caress her back as she rested her head on my chest. The popcorn ceiling stared back at me and glittered with the morning sun that peeked its way into the room. I hated these types of ceilings; they were so old fashioned! I’d fixed up Abu’s house the last few years and that was one of the first things I changed. I wanted Peach in my house, not in this box apartment. I frowned when I realized that the baby didn’t have its own room. I looked down at Peach, who was peacefully oblivious to my thoughts as she concentrated instead on trailing her fingers over my abs. I briefly thought about her going lower and running those fingers along other places but that’d have to be saved for later.

“Peach?” I asked and she turned her head up to look at me.

“Hmm?”

Her big, expressive eyes were what I wanted to see every morning, and every night before I went to bed. “You’re going to move in with me,” I stated. There were no exceptions.

She smiled softly, but it didn’t reach her eyes. “Are you sure you’re ready for that?”

Was I ever!

She giggled and placed my hand that was playing with her hair on top of her stomach. “I come with a package now.” She bit her lip.

I leaned forward and gently kissed her several times before I pulled back and ran my finger along her nose. “I can’t wait.”

She smiled at me, but it faltered when I shifted in the bed and reached for my wallet on the night table. I sat up in bed and leaned my back on the headboard holding my hand out to her.

“Come here, I want to show you something,” I said.

She raised her eyebrow at me, and I patted my legs.

The sheets hid her boobs as she sat up and crawled on my lap. I wrapped my arm protectively around her waist and rubbed our baby as she cuddled against me.

I placed a kiss on her bare skin. “I missed these,” I said.

“My shoulders?” she asked, rubbing her chin along her shoulder.

“No, your freckles.” My finger played connect-the-dots. “All nineteen of them.”

She leaned her head back. “You’ve counted my freckles?”

I chuckled. “Counted and kissed.”

I opened my wallet and Peach gasped. “Oh my God, you still have our picture!” She grinned from ear to ear. I always carried the picture of us that she took when I dropped her off at the airport after her graduation.

I ran my finger along the picture and grinned. “Of course I do.”

She laughed. “We look like babies!”

Her eyes misted over and I nudged her shoulder. “Where’s your copy?”

She looked sheepishly away, and a little hint of pink colored her cheeks. I loved my girl.

“It’s in a box with my Boston stuff.”

I rubbed my chin. “I’m placed in a box, huh?” I asked, teasingly.

She looked down. “Things changed at some point, Dre.”

I swallowed.

“But I’m willing to change them back.”

She glowed. I pushed down the cotton balls in my throat. Damn, I was
not
going to cry.

“Peach, I’ve known you for ten years.
A lot
of things have changed. The way we think, things we enjoy, where we’ve lived. But there is a constant in my life and that’s the way I feel about you. I have loved you since the moment you told me you couldn’t date, when in fact you were just being selfless. I loved you when you moved miles away, and I counted down the days till I’d hear your voice again. I especially fell hard for you when I pushed you away, thinking there was no way I could be deserving of someone so good. I thought that I could switch it off, but I know now that you can’t switch off love when it’s buried deep inside you. It’s the very thing that pushes you to do better. To be better.”

I held her chin in my hand and wiped a tear that had fallen.

“I will work damn hard to be your best, Savannah.”

She let out a sob and nodded. “I love you!”

I pulled her to me and muffled her cry with my lips. I didn’t want to let go. I separated the sheets between us and pressed her bare skin against mine. My hands had started to shake, so I rubbed her back in an effort to calm down. As she kissed me back with such passion and intensity, I knew we’d never be apart again.

I pushed her down gently on the bed and continued kissing her neck, down to her collarbone, to the middle of her chest, and then finally reaching our bump. I whispered promises to someone else I loved just as much as his or her mom. Then I made sure to kiss every single inch of her belly.

Our newborn daughter rested on her father’s chest as we sat in the living room of his home, our home. I wanted to tell him he was spoiling her with too much cuddling, but I wouldn’t know where to begin, seeing as how I always wanted to be holding her myself. Our family had joined us for a late lunch, although I suspected the main reason was really to visit our princess.

Emily, at two weeks old, had dark brown hair, big brown eyes, chubby cheeks, and the cutest button nose. With the ever increasing clientele of my business, and moving in with Dre, it took some adjusting to get used to it. I was happy to say at least the pregnancy was uneventful.

“When can I hold her again?” Victoria pouted and plopped herself next to Jared on our sectional sofa.

“She’ll wake up,” Dre grumbled and held her a little tighter.

“No, she won’t!” Victoria argued.

I inwardly rolled my eyes. “You’re baby hogging again,” I advised him and tapped his leg.

“All right, all right, but she better not cry.” He frowned and kissed Emily on the top of her head before getting off the sofa. The size of his hands almost covered her tiny body as he carefully walked over to his sister and handed her off. My 6 foot 2 inch fiancé treated her like a china doll — and I loved it.

“That’s not possible, she’ll be with her Madrina,” Victoria cooed as she adjusted the blanket. Emily didn’t even twitch. She was fed, changed, and comfortable. We shouldn’t hear a peep from her for the next two hours. Victoria leaned forward so Jared could gently rub her tiny feet.

“Maybe I could have a turn after.” Jared softly stroked Victoria’s cheek and they smiled at each other.

I knew they were trying for a baby and I couldn’t wait to see them with a child of their own.

“Speaking of Madrina,” Lola stood up and pulled her purse over her shoulder before glancing at me, “yours has to go.”

“Already?” Andres asked. “We do have chocolate cake if you want to stay.”

“As much as I’d love some of that, these tight jeans wouldn’t approve,” she joked and patted her stomach. She wagged her finger at him. “You keep that up, you’ll be drunk in an hour,” she scolded.

Andres grinned and took a sip of his second beer. “I still have way more to go before that happens.”

Lola glanced at me and I shrugged. “It’s true, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him drunk, even after way more than just two.”

She smiled at me and we walked toward each other for a hug.

“Your daughter is so precious, Nena,” she said softly into my ear.

I gave her a kiss on the cheek. “Thank you, Madrina, you are welcome to see her anytime.” I wanted to be sure she felt comfortable stopping by, even though I no longer spoke with Carmin.

She waved goodbye to everyone, and I followed her to the door.

As soon as we stood outside, she turned to face me. “I wish things would have turned out differently,” she said wistfully.

I wrapped my arms around myself. I couldn’t stop the question from spilling out of my mouth. “How is she?”

Lola sighed and pursed her lips. “Well, the baby is big and healthy, which we can thank God for, but her anxiety has kicked back up now that Adam left on another tour.”

I nodded. Eddy had told Andres that much.

“She’s back on Xanax, and I just hope it alleviates some of her stress until she’s able to learn how to live without it.” Lola rubbed her forehead.
