He raised the sash again and I cringed as I anticipated the next slap. I moved forward to try and avoid it but he caught me with the tail end of it. It stung a little and it brought tears to my eyes. He yanked my hips back and did it again. A cry ripped from my throat. He soothed me again, by rubbing the sash back and forth over my sore flesh.

“You are always talking back to me and flirting with me in front of the
famiglia
. That's not acceptable, Lorena.”

I didn't think I could withstand anymore and the word ‘doughnut’ was on the tip of my tongue. The next thing he did with the sash was to rub it back and forth along the crack of my arse and to the slit of my pussy. He dragged it over my clit roughly, then gently, and rotated it over and over again until I was writhing and begging him for release.

“Don't come yet, Lorena. Wait. You think that being The Don’s daughter is going to make me lenient? Think again. Your place is with me now. You answer to me. You understand?” he said with laughter in his voice.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I felt him drag the sash away from my body and toss it to the floor. I would've come if he'd grazed my clit with it one more time and God knows what he'd do if that happened. His hands caressed my sore butt and then he painfully dug his fingers into my flesh. Tears pricked my eyes and ran down my face. It was painful but it felt like Heaven to have him touch me.

“Yes!” I said, eventually answering him.

“Good.”

He climbed over the bed and pushed me down onto my back. Towering over me, he stared at my tear-streaked face and wiped my tears away with his thumb.

“Are you okay?” he asked in a gentle, caring voice.

I nodded as my hands moved over his shoulders and neck, and despite him saying he wasn't going to kiss me again, he did, but his lips were rough and biting, just like his hands. Riccardo grabbed both my wrists in one grip and pinned them over my head. I was powerless and completely under his command.

My eyes were drawn to his lean abdomen, and the faint line of hair that led straight to his cock. I instinctively spread my legs, my pain forgotten as our heartbeats pounding simultaneously. His poised his cock right between my legs, the tip rubbing against my already sensitised clit, sending jolts of electricity through my body. He stopped kissing me, and his other hand tugged on the ribbon still around my throat.

His hips pushed forward and I gasped as his thickness slowly entered me, inch by pierced inch. He stopped. Every ball-barrel of his piercings filled me. Fully aroused, my breathing was frantic. It was a raw pain, but it felt so fucking good. My walls expanded around him. Before I grew accustomed to his size, he pulled out and then plunged back inside, but harder and rougher. My breath hitched at the extreme pleasure.

Riccardo found a rhythm, using one hand around my throat, tugging on the ribbon to pull me up against him and fuck me harder. The ribbon was a touch tight, but I could still breathe easily. My hands twisted under his and he covered my body, his lips breathing sighs over mine as he thrust impossibly hard. His next thrust stole my breath away from me and I moaned out a cry.

At the same time, his hand tightened around my throat, pulling the ribbon tighter around my neck. My breathing was ragged, and the word ‘doughnut’ was again on the tip of my tongue, but I swallowed it back. Was I enjoying this domination and the idea of being completely owned by a man in bed? As Riccardo pounded into me, I realised it was exactly what I wanted. His dominance turned me on. No sexual experience I ever had in the past could compare to this. Riccardo was a Master.

He let go of my wrists as he pounded into me, grasping me by my shoulders. I wound my arms around his back and my nails dug into his skin as I choked. It was weird and perhaps fucked up, but the lightness in my head made me soar higher and higher. Everything was far more pleasurable with the ribbon tight around my throat and his cock digging into me. My legs tightened around him, squeezing him hard so I could draw out more of that ecstasy out of him.

I felt my orgasm building and building as he filled me up and tugged the ribbon harder around my neck, like he really wanted me to stop breathing. It was too much, even if it felt so incredibly good.

“Doughnut.”

In an instant, his hand loosened the ribbon and he clutched both shoulders, continuing to fuck me hard. Then I detonated. Arching, I convulsed around him, clawing his back. Then he pulled out and I watched as he came all over my stomach. His body jerked and his shoulders twisted as pleasure transformed his face. All the intensity from before forgotten.

When I woke, it was still dark. If it wasn't for Riccardo’s hard body tangled with mine, I would've thought I'd dreamed the entire thing. His broad back faced me and there were faint red scratches etched into his skin. My whole body ached and I knew I'd have a sore butt all day, and most probably bruises on my neck.

I wondered which Riccardo would surface when he woke. The gentle, sweet Riccardo, or the dominant, controlling bastard? No matter how bad he made me feel last night, it was the best sex I’d ever had. I loved it.

I was startled from my thoughts by the sound of his phone buzzing from his bedside table. Riccardo’s body jerked and his arm lazily grabbed for his phone, pressing it against his ear.

“Yeah?”

I tried to listen hard to the muffled voice at the other end, wanting to eavesdrop on the conversation, just in case it was my father.

“Wait—what? You're sure? Has he made threats or you're just assuming that's his next step? No, I didn’t have a clue. Fuck!” He sat upright, his voice angry and loud, and his body tense. From the look on his face, I knew it was my father he was talking to. He looked back at me, warning me with a silencing finger over his mouth not to talk. “I told you we should have taken care of him months ago, but you hold on to those fucking blood ties you have with him.”

Who was he talking about? It had to be a member of the
famiglia
. I barely had time to think about it as he ended the phone call. I tensed under the sheets when he turned and peeled back the material from my body, taking in my nakedness. Instead of touching me, he flipped over onto his back and beckoned me over to him, without even speaking. He spoke with his eyes and I knew what he wanted.

I was nervous as I slid up against him, my heart pounding as my head nestled on his shoulder, his arm curled around my back. His hands were absentmindedly stroking my naked body. My skin was on fire from his touch but his attention seemed to be elsewhere.

“Is there a problem? Is everything okay?”

He shifted so I was underneath him. His fingers stroked my neck, rubbing the sore wounds lightly with his thumb. “Nah, it's all good, baby doll.”

He was so evasive and deliberately didn't give me a proper answer. I didn't seem to be too fussed when he moved and covered his body over mine, kissing me. His kiss seemed apologetic, especially when he ran his tongue along my neck, licking at the marks he’d inflicted on me last night.

“Tell me, was last night enjoyable for you?”

“Will you be surprised if I said yes?”

Riccardo let out a frustrated groan when I reached down to fondle his rapidly growing erection. I yearned for him to be rough with me again and fuck me hard like he had last night. But, he took my hand away from his hardening cock and whispered gently, “I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I need to attend to some important business.”

He sounded remorseful, but I couldn't hold back my pout. He lifted my chin and kissed the tip of my nose. “Believe me, baby doll, there's nowhere else I'd rather be than spending the whole day in bed with you. I have so much more to teach you and show you.”

Tired and aching, I leaned upright and nodded. “I understand, Riccardo. You don't have to explain,” I told him, even though I felt dejected. I couldn't tear my eyes away from him, as we both dressed in silence. That body of his and those intricate tattoos. Oh, God, I was fawning over him. I had it bad. Luckily, we were telling my father that tonight. That way, I could banish this guilt out of my system once and for all.

“I'll see you tonight at the family dinner. I want to be the one to tell your father. It needs to come from me,” he reminded me. “You just follow my lead, and if your father asks you questions, you answer them. But if things get ugly, I want you to promise me you won't interfere. He'll undoubtedly be angry, so let him blow. Whatever he dishes out, I can take it,” he said confidently. “Promise me, Lorena.”

“I promise.”

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

LORENA

Tonight was the night. The family dinner, when we would tell my father, about our secret relationship. I was as skittish as a mouse and so anxious that my chest hurt. Riccardo would be at dinner with most of the men. Our family dinners were huge on Sundays, which was why I was so nervous about announcing our news.

My father had been distant the last couple of weeks and I'd barely spoken to him. While I was aware he had a lot of stress to deal with, I was concerned every time he looked at me. I was paranoid he already knew about us, that maybe he had somehow heard from someone that Riccardo and I were together. Sierra assured me he didn't, saying if he did, he wouldn't be so quiet and would've flown off the handle.

I really didn't understand why Riccardo wanted all the
famiglia
to be there. I mean, what business was it of theirs? We had agreed to tell him before the family dinner. Although we were all like a true family, this was something that I'd hoped to just tell my father in private first. I sure hoped that was how Riccardo planned to do it.

Dinner was usually around 6:30 or 7:00. It was almost 6:45. Sierra and I were setting the table when the sound of the doorbell ringing jolted me and I dropped cutlery all over the floor.

“Shit! I'm so clumsy,” I said, looking at Sierra.

“You're just jittery. You need to calm down,” she said with a comforting smile.

“Are one of you gonna answer the fucking door?” my dad yelled from his office. I pointed to myself and mouthed ‘not me’ to Sierra. I couldn't move my legs from the nerves attacking my body, let alone walk to the door. Geez, he sounded like he was in a bad mood already.
Great, just great. That's all I need.

“You stay here. I’ll get the door,” Sierra instructed me. When Sierra went to get the door, I expelled a long breath of air. I wanted to hide as I heard Riccardo's voice. He walked into the dining room with Stefano, Vincenzo, Gracie and Raphael. Paulie was already outside playing with Matias on the swing. We were just waiting for
Zio
Joey and Aldo to arrive. Not that I was looking forward to that.
Zio
Joey was such a troublemaker.

Riccardo's eyes zeroed in on me. I felt my knees go weak and a rush of heat spread through my body as I thought about what we did last night.

“Hey, Lorena,” he greeted me in a whisper soft voice.

No words left my mouth. I was frozen on the spot until Stefano came up to me and gave me a bear hug. Vincenzo was more of a gentleman and kissed and hugged me gently. Damn, it was hard trying to act normal in front of everyone when all I wanted to do was to rip Riccardo’s clothes off and ravish him.

“Where's the Boss?” Riccardo asked, walking past me, purposefully brushing himself against me as he made his way towards my father’s office. It was like an electrical jolt moved through my body. I was intoxicated with everything Riccardo, from the smell of his cologne, to the heat radiating off his body. A body, I knew so well. All I could visualise was him naked and towering over me as he thrust himself into me hard, rough and fast.

“Capo.” I heard my father call out to him as Riccardo entered the office. After I heard the clap of hands on one another’s back and the sound of Riccardo closing the door behind him, my guilt intensified. Was he going to tell him now? I wasn't ready. Would I ever be ready to tell my father about what Riccardo and I have been doing behind his back?

Please, God no! I needed a little more time to prepare myself. I wasn’t convinced I was ready for this, for the anger and outrage, I knew my father would throw our way.

God help us all.

RICCARDO

Brushing against Lorena as I passed her in the kitchen was a fucking stupid idea. I did it to tease Lorena, to wipe the worry from her beautiful face, but all I managed to do was give myself a raging hard-on from the vision of her spread naked before me with that boneless look she got after taking her rough and hard. When Sebastiano called me to his office, I had to walk in, thinking of babies and grannies, to try and keep my mind off Lorena and disguise my erection, before he greeted me.

I had planned to tell Sebastiano about us in the privacy of his office before the family dinner, but seeing how worried Lorena had looked, made me think that she wasn't ready for me to tell him yet. I knew the longer we waited, the harder it would be and the bigger the betrayal would be, but Lorena and I needed to be on the same page for this to go down. We needed to be solid or we'd have no chance of Sebastiano supporting us. I needed to talk to Lorena about it one last time before telling him.

"Capo,
come stai
? You seem somewhat distracted," Sebastiano asked as he released me. He walked over to his desk and perched his arse on it, as I leaned against the wall.

"You know me, Boss, I'm always thinking of the next hit."

"Speaking of hits, I need you to find out what's happening with the Bertucci family. Roman had been running things nicely since we ended Antonio, but he was taken out last night. I wanna know who's controlling the family now. If it's someone who is going to cause us trouble, I want them gone before they can even run their first meeting," he demanded.

As his hit man, I found myself agreeing with him without even thinking about it. "Consider it done." To keep our family safe, we needed to be at the top. The other families had to be happy to live by Sebastiano's rules. We didn't need someone power hungry coming after the top spot.

"Well, with that business sorted, let's get out there and be pleasured," he said, pushing off the table and heading towards the door.

"I hope you manage to restrain yourself from that pleasure until after dinner. You know, like maybe in the privacy of your own bedroom," I joked, pretending to grimace.

"I was talking about the pleasure of food and family, you filthy
bastardo
," he said with a laugh.

I followed him out of the office and into the dining room where everyone was standing around chatting to each other. Gracie was giggling at something Stefano was saying. It was clear to everyone she had a serious crush on the guy. Every time he spoke, she blushed.

I heard Lorena's voice behind me. "Excuse me, Capo." I moved to the side to allow her to pass, balancing two bowls of salad in her hands. "Thanks," she whispered. The worried glance she gave her father, caused me to trail close behind her.

"I haven't said anything yet," I whispered. I was so close to her, I could see the hair on the back of her neck sway with my breath. She paused and I watched as her shoulders relaxed.

I quickly moved towards Vincenzo, so it didn't look like I was stalking her. I caught Joey's eye and he gave me a smirk, like he knew something I didn't. I hated that fucker. He always looked like he had some master plan up his sleeve. He never did though. I was sure it was just an intimidation tactic.

"
Siamo tutti pronti a mangiare
?” Lorena asked and announced to the room as she placed the bowls in the centre of the table.

"You heard the lady. Pull up a pew," Sebastiano ordered as he took his seat at the head of the table. Sierra took a seat at one side of him, and Lorena took the other. Paulie was about to take the seat beside Lorena until I shot him a look. I aimed for ‘Don’t you fucking dare’ and must have hit the spot because he took an immediate detour and sat beside Sierra instead.

Once everyone was seated, Sebastiano said 'Grace' before we all started filling our plates with food. Taking advantage of the noise of people chatting and cutlery clanging on plates, I leaned in towards Lorena and whispered in her ear, "I want you to remove your underwear for me."

She choked on the mouthful of water she had just taken. "Crap," she coughed, causing Sebastiano to show her his concern.

"Are you okay,
cara
?" he asked, patting her on the back.

Once her cough subsided and Sebastiano stopped his repeated patting, she replied, "It just went down the wrong way." She indicated to the glass of water.

Conversations picked up around the table as everyone enjoyed their meals. Stefano sat beside me with Gracie on the other side. He was trying to talk her into going on a date, but it didn't sound like he was having much luck. She knew as well as any of us, what a man whore Stefano was.

Raphael, who sat opposite Grace, joined in their conversation, probably hoping to help. "It's okay, Gracie. I won't ask him to share you with me. I'm sure he’ll shoot me down."

“Shut up, you fucker!” Stefano said when he saw Gracie's face drop and turn ten shades of white.

“Excuse me," she said. She abruptly stood, left the table and headed in the direction of the bathroom.

"You are such a fuckhead, no shit!” Stefano yelled as he kicked at Raph under the table.

“Ah, fuck. Watch who you're kicking, shit face," Vincenzo said from the other side of the table. He made a move to get up and follow his sister, but Sierra stopped him.

"I'll go after her. You guys eat." She wiped her mouth on a napkin and gave Sebastiano a kiss on the temple, before dashing off in the same direction Gracie had gone.

“You both need to stay away from my sister. She's been through enough shit as it is. She isn't ready for anyone, especially either of you two fuckers. She'll
never
be ready,” he growled out.

While they were arguing, I felt Lorena's hand grope at my crotch. When I moved my hand to cover hers, I felt her push a scrap of material into my hand. I couldn't believe it. She'd removed her underwear, at a table full of people and I hadn't even seen her move. No one seemed to have noticed her do it at all. Everyone was still focused on Vincenzo and the twins, who were still ripping into each other.

Just as I started to wonder why Sebastiano was letting this fight go on over dinner, he bellowed, "
Basta!
"

All the guys fell silent at the tone of Sebastiano’s voice.

"Gracie is family, Vincenzo. They all know she is off limits. No one would dare touch her, just like they wouldn't touch Lorena," Sebastiano said.

Lorena's eyes shot to her father. I diverted mine to my plate before I did anything to cause suspicion.

"Maybe you should tell Riccardo that," Joey muttered, loud enough to be heard from the other end of the table. I gave him a sharp look, but it was of no use, his eyes were fixed on Sebastiano.

"Have you got something to share,
Zio
Joey?" Sebastiano demanded as he placed his knife and fork on his half eaten meal, before folding his hands beneath his chin.

"Well, I was just saying, Riccardo might need reminding of that rule since he seems to have forgotten the
famiglia
code and honour.” He grinned evilly. “It would seem an appropriate time for a reminder, seeing as he's been fucking your daughter."

I felt Lorena stiffen beside me, as the whole room became quiet. Everyone seemed to freeze and hold their breath.
Nonna
was the only one who didn't seem too fazed by it.

"Don't be so ridiculous, Joey. Riccardo would never do such a thing," she berated him, whilst spooning some pasta into Matias' mouth.

"I'm sorry. Was it a secret?” he said, feigning innocence. He stared at both me and Lorena with a smirk, which said he was anything but sorry. "I thought it was common knowledge," he added.

There was a deathly silence in the room. Lorena gripped my thigh under the table. Her nails digging into the flesh, even through my trousers. I quickly scrunched up her underwear into my pocket, ready to face the volcanic eruption.

"Tell me this isn't true, Capo," Sebastiano demanded calmly, too calmly.

"We were going to tell you," Lorena said, jumping in.

Sierra and Gracie chose that moment to walk back in, but no one gave them a sideways glance, not even when Sierra spoke as she took her seat and reached out to touch Sebastiano's hand, "What's happening?"

Sebastiano calmly slipped his hand out from under hers before he spoke, once again in that scarily calm tone. "I wasn't talking to you, Lorena. I was asking The Capo."

I watched in silence for a second as he picked up his glass of scotch and sculled it. "It's true," I said, confirming what undoubtedly was the worst thing he could hear right now. He stood without lowering his arm, still clutching the glass. It was probably all he could do, not to throw it at my head.

"Lorena, you need to move," he warned as he glared down at me.

Lorena glanced from her father to me.

"Don't look to him for instructions. Do as I fucking say!" he yelled, emphasising the ‘I’. All the while, still holding onto the glass as if it was all he had to contain his anger.

I stood and pulled Lorena up by her shoulders. Pushing her off, into Stefano, who had also stood from his seat beside me. I managed to take in the whole table in that second and it looked like everyone was following our lead and standing. To move away from the table, moving away from Sebastiano and myself and the danger we were emitting.

Nonna
had Matias out of his seat and in her arms. Vincenzo had managed to pull Gracie to the other side of the table. Sierra was trying to get to Sebastiano, but Paulie had his hand on her arm, pulling her back. He was saying something into her ear, but I couldn't concentrate on what was happening around me. I needed to focus on the danger before me. To face the mafia crime boss, who was ready to order my hit. In fact, I was pretty sure he was ready to deal with this hit himself.
