Ride of Her Life

CHAPTER ONE

Cecilia's hips rolled over Ray's groin, prompting a response from his already twitching dick. His face tightened and his lips
parted, an open invitation Cecilia couldn't resist. She leaned down and crushed her mouth to his, hands reaching out to hold Ray's arms down when they began to move.

“My play time, remember?” she breathed against his lips, bringing her hips up and off of him. Ray shivered and tried to move again. “Keep fighting and I'll have to punish you. Maybe I'll get off all on my own, leave you whining and hard.”

Ray made a face, sparking Cecilia's laughter. He looked downright heaven-sent with his heaving muscles, glistening with perspiration and quivering beneath her touch. And already so hard, pressing against her thigh. Cecilia remembered his fingers inside her, plying her for the entire world to see in front of her apartment. No, it would be much more entertaining to drag him out for a while. She did just that, pressing her lips to his throat and sucking at the vulnerable skin, hips up and swaying above his cock without descending and giving him release. Her teeth grazed his flesh, his shudders shaking the bed beneath them, and Cecilia bit down hard. The way Ray arched up against her, pressed flush and scraping his nails down her ass, sent heat flooding between her legs and slicked her already wet thighs.

His moan was even more incentive to continue, a ragged sound torn from his throat. High school hadn't been anything like this; Ray used to be gentle most days, and sometimes a little randy. But he was always in control, dragging Cecilia along for the ride. But in the ten years they'd been apart, she had picked up a few tricks of her own. She wondered briefly if any girl had ever been able to thoroughly possess Ray over the years—not that she cared about the past; she wasn't that type of girl.

Besides, she'd fucked enough to know that occasional hookups weren't the same as sharing herself with someone she loved. And Cecilia loved Ray; the years hadn't dimmed her feelings. Rather, they seemed to have grown stronger.

So when she released his throat and he collapsed to the sheets, fingers curled around her ass and squeezing, Cecilia had no need of further foreplay. She was hot, and aching, and she needed Ray inside her as soon as physically possible. Lapping at his lips, she slid a hand between them and circled his cock with slender fingers, her firm grip causing a jolt. Ray's hands had started to move up her sides, but she'd already positioned herself perfectly. With a sigh she sank onto him, sheathing him completely in a single motion and crying out at how deliciously he filled her .

His cries mingled with her own as she worked her hips, rising on her heels and sinking back onto his hard cock, tightening around him when he slid out in small increments.

Ray's hands found her breasts and had each pooled in his fingers, squeezing and catching her nipple between his thumb and forefinger. Cecilia shuddered, clamping down on him deep within her. His hips rose to meet hers, and they gasped and thrust against each other. Cecilia suddenly cinched her thighs against Ray's hips and rocked, undulating her hips and grinding him deeper inside, sending her pleasure through the roof.

Stars burst in the back of her eyelids, and her orgasm built higher, eddying through her core and spreading through her body. She was already so sensitive from her previous exploits, his touch alone could have had her crying out. Ray was dragging her down against him, hips reckless and erratic. His pulse raced under her fingers when they piled across his chest, digging in for the ride. She bent to crush her lips to his when she felt his legs tense beneath her. They lay spread on either side, Cecilia pinned between them and impaled with all the desire of a man lusting for ten straight years. Ray's palms slid from her chest to her hips and he lifted her bodily, the loss of skin to skin contact filling her with a desperate need to feel whole again.

Her wish was granted even before the thought could reach completion. With a squeeze of his hands, Ray slammed Cecilia back down, burying himself deep. She arched, crying out as the sensations threatened to overtake her.

Ray didn't help her control when his arms flexed and she rose from the bed yet again, shaking and aching for more. He didn't disappoint, pulling her back down and meeting her in an upward thrust almost simultaneously. His hips bucked, knuckles white from the grip he had on her waist - she was sure she'd have finger shaped bruises when all was said and done.

Tossing his head back, hair damp and clinging to his throat and cheeks, Ray moaned hard and rocked against Cecilia. Rhythm abandoned in place of reckless thrusts broke Cecilia's control completely. The heat building inside flooded over, driving her breath ragged and tearing moans from her parted lips.

Cecilia bore down on Ray's cock, pulling him deeper and squeezing like a vise. It was too much. Ray gasped and crushed Cecilia to him, coming hard on the tail end of her orgasm. Pulsing, exploding, he filled her in earnest. Their cum mingled and slicked her further, until he slid out unceremoniously.

Shudders worked their way through Cecilia's shoulders and she slumped on top of Ray without preamble, arms slinking up and around his neck to settle under her cheek. His hot breath ghosted over her, tugging at her auburn curls; his rapid heartbeat fluttered beneath her fingers. A small smile flickered over her lips, eyelids drifting closed of their own accord.

Exhaustion set in, groping her limbs and coercing her to sleep, and the last thing she remembered was the trail of fingers tracing her spine and the mutterings near her ear, “Cece, I missed you.”

CHAPTER TWO

Ray was huge.

That wasn't a confidence boost or a come-on. No, he was damn enormous. With one arm slung across her chest, his stupid face was nestled between her breasts and his entire lower half crushed Cecilia with its dense weight.

Cecilia was not a morning person.

With a crack she smacked Ray's arm, the one currently strangling her and making lung function virtually impossible. He grumbled wordlessly and instead of rolling over he tightened his hold, dragging her closer and pulling the sheets higher up.

“Ray if you don't get off right now I'm going to do something very violent to your most delicate bits,” she threatened, her voice rough. Mornings were one of those hellish experiences adult life threw her way. She had no capacity to find a good mood.

Ray said nothing.

To be fair, it wasn't completely his fault. The man could sleep through the apocalypse without batting an eyelash. Still, he should have known better than to camp out on her chest and expect not to get abused.

Cecilia finagled her hand underneath Ray's dead weight, careful not to scrape his stomach or chest—because that would take the pleasure out of punishing him—until she found the morning wood stabbing her hip.

He's lucky I'm still too sore to do more damage.
Cecilia's face contorted into a malicious smile as she sank her nails into Ray's balls, digging into her handful and tugging roughly.

The yowl he emitted made her smile wider.

Ray immediately rolled off, raising to his elbows and blearily eying the potentially dangerous digits currently groping his man bits. His hair was mussed, dark tresses tossed over his forehead and cheeks. Stubble from yesterday had thickened, illuminating stark shadows and bringing his sharp cheekbones into relief.

Cecilia hesitated only a split second as she soaked in the sight. If her windows were made to allow light to pass through, she might have fainted from the way they would have played over Ray's delectable muscles. Thankfully, her almost vampiric loathing of the morning sun saved her.

“I did warn you,” Cecilia responded to his silent question, his eyes flicking between her grip and her smug expression. Of course, they then drifted to her breasts, which were peaked from the chill of the morning, and she lost his attention completely.

Or rather, gained it in a different perspective.

Her fingers tensed again.

“Cece, give me a break.” Ray collapsed onto his back and stared up at her from under his hair, the most piteous expression on his face. Damn him for trying to look sexy this early in the morning. “I can't help it when you stick them in my face like that.”

“Shut up, I would have been fully clothed in pajamas if you hadn't accosted me and torn my dress to shreds. Which, by the way, I expect you to fully repay. With interest.” Cecilia mercifully let go of his abused balls, letting her fingertips trail up his hard-on with the faintest of touches.

Then she slipped out of bed and disappeared into the hall.

By the time Ray had stumbled from the tangled sheets and rushed after her the bathroom door was locked and steam billowed from the slit under the door. His head smacked into the wooden obstruction and he grumbled about girls named Cece who weren't any fun in the morning.

Showering was blissful and refreshing. Plus it gave Cece time to recollect herself after the show she'd made last night, if she were putting it lightly. Softcore porn would be a better label, but she wasn't sure if she could stomach admitting how much like a sex fiend she'd acted. Even in public, and more than once. If shame were a tangible manifestation, she'd be drowning.

It was a good thing the small bathroom was filled with steam, covering her blush. Not that it mattered while Ray was probably raiding her fridge for edible meat snacks and beer. There wasn't anyone to witness her embarrassment, or the shields she rebuilt around her fragile emotions.

By the time she made it out, wrapped in a plush towel and dripping hair in rampant curls, she could smell bacon sizzling.

Of course. The only meat she had in the house other than frozen steaks.

She avoided the kitchen to get dressed, trudging in fifteen minutes later. Ray had a plethora of foodstuffs overloading her rickety table, from eggs to almost an entire loaf of toast. Part of her wanted to roll her eyes and glare at his impudence. But the louder, growling part of her—namely her stomach—made the decision to eat instead of complain.

Cecilia timidly took the empty chair across from Ray, who had already started shoveling food, and picked at a piece of toast. The atmosphere was awkward, to say the least. Not that Ray bothered to notice, but even so.

She'd just slept with a man she hadn't seen in ten years. The same man who’d swept her off her feet, then left her in the dust. A previously drug-running vagabond and cop-shooting gang member. Granted, a biker gang, but that didn't excuse his criminal past.

Cecilia technically knew nothing about the man who gorged himself on breakfast across from her. She only knew the kid he'd been before he left. Was that enough?

In the end, she managed to confuse herself more than anything. Stressing about something she couldn't predict was pointless. She loved Ray, but she wasn't sure what that meant.

Of course, she'd already cockily announced she'd be going with Ray wherever he went. It had been said in the heat of the moment but that didn't make her words less valid. In fact, they were probably more honest than she normally was. Especially face to face.

“How long do you plan on brooding?” Ray caught Cecilia's startled eyes as she looked up, his expression softened by a little smile.

“I'm not,” she replied stiffly, stuffing a spoonful of egg into her mouth so he'd stop looking at her like that. It didn't work. Ray leaned over her tiny table, rising slightly off the chair and capturing her chin. He pressed a kiss to her cheek, fingers brushing the line of her jaw.

“Whatever you say.” He leaned back, winking. She nearly choked on her breakfast. In a rush she stood up, chair scraping the floor in her haste.

“I have to go to work,” she announced suddenly, rubbing her cheek with the back of her hand. His touch always brought her heart rate skyrocketing, and this was no exception. It wasn't as though Cecilia was afraid of Ray—actually, she was more worried about herself.

Whether or not she'd be late to work because of Ray's ability to turn her on and drag her off for a good four-hour romp… best to cut out the mystery and rush off to work.

“Clean up the mess you made,” Cecilia waggled her finger sternly before strutting off, trying not to think too much about what could happen on that rickety table. They'd broken a number of furniture pieces over the course of their relationship years ago.

She paused at the bathroom to brush her teeth before scampering toward the front door, hoping to escape while Ray was cleaning the kitchen. No such luck. He waited by the door, swinging his keys around his index finger.

“Not going to happen.” She didn't need to elaborate. If he thought she was getting on that damn crotch rocket again and ruining her hair before work so she looked like a troll reject, he was batshit insane.

“Come on, you don't want to be late,” he cajoled.

“I'll be fine. The agency is two blocks away; I usually walk,” Cecilia replied/responded, trying for logic. Ray folded his arms over his chest, keys jangling on the leather of his jacket. Damn if he didn't cut a striking figure, looming over her from the door. She was pretty sure he had to duck to exit her small apartment, he was that big.

“A gentleman wouldn't let his lady walk unescorted.” His infallible smile cropped up again, tugging at his cheeks and dimpling in the corners. The gruff stubble needed a good razor but Cecilia could still feel the scrape of his jaw along her neck, pinpricks of shock and delight coursing through her. She shivered, and not from the joke of cold Texas weather.

“Then move out of the way already, or I really will be late.” She shoved at his arm and he acceded, stepping aside for her to throw the lock. The sun was high already, even though it wasn't yet nine in the morning. The sky was a pale blue, the white-blue of winter bleeding into spring.

Heavy footsteps followed her light clicks down the stairs and Ray made sure to give her maybe a foot of personal space. If that.

When she veered in the opposite direction of the bike, an arm curled around her waist and halted her. Cecilia tilted her chin upwards, gazing at the sapphire eyes above her, and glared.

“I told you, no. I'm walking. If you don't like it go back upstairs and stew for a while with your manly pride.” She dug her nails into the exposed flesh of his wrist and tugged. He released her; Cecilia wouldn't have managed to keep walking with him clinging to her waist.

However, Ray did keep at her elbow and never ventured more than a few inches away.
