Lauren Sattersby has always been a writer, but it took her a while to discover that M/M romance was her passion. For a while, she thought she was a poet. That didn’t end well. She then attempted to write traditional heterosexual romances, but it became painfully clear very quickly that her main characters were never quite as traditional as she’d intended. Then when she realized that the hero of one of the novels was
obviously
making out with his male best friend in-between scenes, she decided to just let her characters be who they wanted to be. After that, there was no going back.

Lauren lives in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, with her partner and their three terrible cats. She grew up in the US Deep South and still has a Southern accent that immediately exposes her as an outsider in the Midwest, but that’s okay because she likes her drawl. She likes birdwatching, Indian food, and (of course) happily ever afters.
