Suddenly, Cooper came in and saw his friend in the doorway and smiled, “Mitchel!  Come on in!”  Mitchel smiled, walking inside once Cooper pulled Charlotte out of the way.  The two men sat in the living room together, waiting for the game to start.  Charlotte looked at them, her eyes lingering on Mitchel. 

She went into the kitchen, pouring herself a glass of white wine.  She needed to calm down.  She didn’t know what had gotten into her but she felt so

“Oh, hey, honey, if it isn’t too much of a hassle do you mind grabbing a beer for Mitchel and I.  I forgot to grab us some when I sat down.”  Cooper looked at his wife.  She nodded, glad to get out of the awkward room.  Cooper’s conversation certainly had given her away.  Mitchel probably thought she was weird now.  Charlotte cursed herself in her mind for not thinking her actions through. 

She moved numbly into the kitchen.  Opening the fridge, she looked for beer but didn’t see anything.  It seemed they were all out.  She walked back into the living room with an apologetic look on her face, “It seems we are out.” 

Cooper looked at her and groaned, “Damn.” He got up, frustrated.  “Well I will be right back.”  He paused the game before grabbing his keys.  Charlotte watched him through the window as he pulled out of the driveway and left. 

Now it was just Charlotte and Mitchel…

Chapter 6

Charlotte didn’t know what to do.  Should she stay a faithful wife, or should she follow her hormones that were screaming at her to lunge across the living room and fuck Mitchel.  Charlotte bit her lip in frustration, unsure of what to do.  Eventually she made a decision.
