Fantasy Job

Chapter One – The Target

I love everything about the catwalk. The lights. The glitz. The glamour. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew that it was where I belonged. Having a father in the fashion industry had taught me how to be fabulous at a young age, though he discouraged me. My father was terrified that I would grow up and become a model. Unfortunately for him, his nightmare became his reality.

I had always wanted to pursue a modeling career, and nobody could stop me—not even my father. Whether he liked it or not, I was going to take the modeling world by storm. It was all I ever wanted.

The sequin fuchsia gown I had chosen glimmered under the sparkling lights. The matching stilettos screamed “sultry” while my thick eyeliner said “fierce”. I could feel eyes on me, although I was only in the audience. They should have been looking at the little black dress onstage.

Who
are you wearing?” Ariana Wyatt gasped.

I blushed. I could not believe
the
Ariana Wyatt wanted to know what I was wearing. My modeling career was sure to take off with recognition like
that
.

“Oh, just a little designer by the name of Diego Hernando,” I replied with a smirk. “My father recently bought his brand.”

“I read about that in
FabGirl!
What a smart buy,” she replied, swirling her champagne in her glass. “Well, I better get back to mingling. Feel free to give me a call sometime. Maybe you can do some work with the agency.”

She pulled her card out of her handbag and handed it to me. I nearly squealed as I took it from between her long, bony fingers. Working with Ariana Wyatt would be a dream.

“Were you just talking to Ariana Wyatt?”

I turned around to see my best friend, Mia. Though she wasn’t a model, she loved fashion. Luckily for her, I always had a way to get her on the guest lists. Even if she wasn’t model material, I would always make her feel like she was. That’s what friends are for.

“Yes!” I exclaimed, flashing her card. “She told me to call her because she might have some work for me. How amazing is that?”

“Pretty amazing,” Mia retorted. She sounded uninterested. “So are you still gonna do the thing?”

My face flushed. Mia and I had had a long withstanding bet on how long it would take my father and my stepmom to get a divorce. When they finally split in April of 2016, it sealed the deal. Mia won the bet and I had to do whatever she dared me to, no matter how ridiculous it seemed.

That was when she dared me to do the impossible: seduce Anthony Aloisi.

“Well, I haven’t even seen him tonight—”

“I have!” she hissed. “He’s right there!”

Sure enough, she had spotted him. The handsome, middle-aged man had been my father’s business partner since I was a child. I had always fantasized about losing my virginity to him, but the older I became, the sillier it seemed.

“So he is,” I muttered through gritted teeth. “Just let me get a few more drinks in me.”

She smirked.

“Are you gonna chicken out?”

“No! I just—I’m just nervous. He’s—well—a lot older and a billionaire and—”

“And single. And you’re a hot up-and-coming model. You have nothing to lose, Lilli. You’re literally perfect.”

I bit my lip and looked at him. He was laughing and joking with none other than my father.

“I wish that my dad wasn’t hogging him,” I groaned. “I didn’t come here all the way from Connecticut just to be ignored the whole time.”

“Says the girl that was just noticed by Ariana Wyatt. Be patient,” Mia murmured. “Enjoy the show. He’ll come over here. He’s bound to notice you in that dress.”

I smiled.

“Thanks, Mia.”

“No problem. For now, just lean back and keep your eyes on the target.”

Keeping my eyes on Anthony was a lot harder than I imagined. He was schmoozing with all the models and other fashion moguls. For some reason, I felt a pang of jealousy every time he kissed some European bimbo’s cheek.

Then, it happened. Our eyes met. It was only for a brief moment, but the wink and the wave that followed were what made my heart melt.

“The target just winked at me,” I hissed. “That’s a good sign, right?”

Mia’s eyes widened with excitement.

“Of course it’s a good sign! Go talk to him!”

I bit my lip.

“You think so? Shouldn’t I wait until maybe—”

“Wait for
what?
He’s right there!”

He kissed another woman’s cheek. My stomach turned.

“I’ll talk to him when he’s done mingling with his section. Those are important people. Supermodels. I shouldn’t bother him right now.”

You’re
an important person,” she reminded me. “You’re daughter of his billionaire partner. Don’t forget that you belong here. Own it.”

I gave her a sad smile.

“Sometimes I don’t feel like I do,” I murmured. “The fashion world is cutthroat. Maybe I’m just not cut out for it.”

Chapter Two – Sneaking Away

The last designer’s collection was halfway finished when I caught Anthony out of the corner of my eye. He flashed me a handsome grin and my face became hot with embarrassment. It was hard to believe he would be looking at me when his section was filled with some of the sexiest women on the planet.

The last gown made its way down the runway and my eyes darted back to Anthony. Suddenly, he was gone. I frowned.

“He’s coming!” Mia hissed in my ear. “Right there!”

My eyes widened as I saw where she was pointing. He was only a few steps away, a glass of champagne in his strong hands.

“I couldn’t help but notice you from across the room,” he said, smoothly. “How’d you like the show?”

“Oh, I loved it!” I enthused. “The last designer was fabulous. Topanga Winthrup, I think her name was?”

He chuckled.

“Well, I have to admit, I didn’t really see too much of the show.”

“Yeah, I noticed you had some really important European models in your section. Must be nice to do business with such pretty faces,” I noted, trying to hide my envy. “I’d love to work with those kinds of women.”

“They aren’t all they’re cracked up to be. You, on the other hand. Now
you
have an interesting look. I must confess, you caught my attention from across the room. I’ve never seen a woman pull off purple so well.”

“It’s fuchsia,” I corrected, playfully.

“Well, Miss Fuchsia,” he purred, “I was thinking you’d like to go somewhere a little more private.”

My cheeks were burning.

“I—I’d love to,” I stammered. “But where? This place is pretty crowded.”

He grinned.

“I know a place.”

The janitor’s closet he took me to was not the most comfortable venue, but I had to admit that it was titillating. I had promised myself (and Mia) that I would seduce Anthony Aliosi and I was.

His lips brushed my neck as he unzipped his pants. Our breathing was heavy.

“Are you sure no one will come in—”

“I locked the door,” he murmured into my neck. “Plus, wouldn’t it be kind of hot to get caught?”

I blushed.

“I don’t really want my first time to be in front of anyone else,” I admitted.

Suddenly, he pulled away. His eyes were wide.

“Your first time?” he asked. “You mean—with me? Right?”

I shook my head.

“So you’re a virgin,” he muttered. “Okay. Well, are you sure you want this? I don’t want to have a case—”

“I want this,” I interrupted. “I really do.”

He grinned and pulled my hips close to his.

“Good,” he whispered against my lips. His hands ran down my body and he pulled my dress up. “Commando? Bold move for a virgin.”

I felt the tip of his throbbing manhood rubbing against me. My nerves were starting to get the best of me, but I knew I had to play it cool. I
was
going to seduce Anthony Aliosi.

“It’s just how I—oh!”

I had not expected the tip of his manhood to enter me. At first, it hurt a little, but after a moment, I felt the greatest pleasure that I had ever felt. I tossed my head back in ecstasy as his lips moved up my neck and our hips moved together.

“Wow,” I breathed into his ear. “This isn’t really how I imagined it but—but—”

My eyes rolled back into my head as his hands found my breasts. I had not felt a man’s touch before, and as a young girl, I never expected that I would be losing it to Anthony Aliosi. Yet, as his manhood moved deep inside of me, I came to the revelation that I wouldn’t have had it any other way. After we made love, I would finally have him wrapped around my little finger. Plus, I would win my bet.

“That feels so good,” I breathed as he pulled me closer to him.

I could smell the sweet sweat upon his neck as I lowered my lips towards it. His strong embrace was enough to drive me wild.

“I-it’s hard to stay quiet,” I murmured into his ear.

While I expected him to say something romantic, he gave me a reality check instead. Though it was unwelcome, I ultimately agreed.

“We can’t do this long if you don’t wanna get caught,” he whispered in my ear. “Let’s finish up, baby.”

I nodded and with the last few jerks of his hips, he finished. I heard his pants zip up before I even opened my eyes. He patted me on the shoulder.

“That was fun. We should do it again sometime, beautiful.”

And with that, he left me there, my hair tousled and my eyeliner smudged.

My father hated seeing me at fashion shows. He knew the dark side of the fashion industry and his greatest fear was that I would be sucked in like so many models are. It would kill him if he knew I’d slept with his business partner.

Despite the fact that he detested my involvement in the industry, he still paid for my limousine.

“I trust you had a good evening,” he murmured as we waited together. “It was quite a show.”

I nodded.

“Yes, Daddy. It was great.”

I could see the limo down the street. It was stuck behind several others just like it. Los Angeles traffic jams were almost as bad as the many that I’d witnessed in New York City. I hated New York City.

“Robert!”

I gasped when I heard the familiar, mature voice behind me.

“Anthony!” my dad shouted. “How’d you enjoy the show? I saw you slipped away for a bit. Find some young hotsy-totsy to play with?”

He flashed Anthony a wink. It sent a shiver down my spine.

“As a matter of fact, I did,” Anthony replied with a smirk.

That was my cue to turn around. I could not let Anthony tell my father what we had done. As soon as he saw me, confusion found its way into the line of his face.

“I had a good time,” he murmured as he drew nearer. “Just found a model I grew fond of during the show. You know how it is."

My father nodded.

“Message received,” he replied. “Speaking of models, you remember Lilli?”

With my eyes wide, I held my hand out and gave him a false smile.

“I think your wife used to babysit me.”

“She did,” he muttered, a look of horror on his face. “Lovely to see you again, Lilli. Pleasure as always, Robert.”

My father smiled as the limo pulled up.

“I’ll see you in the office on Monday?”

Anthony nodded.

“You will.”

Chapter Three – Reunited

Months passed by and I had not seen Anthony even once. Despite my numerous attempts to meet with him in his office, I could not seem to get a meeting with him. Something told me that he was ignoring my calls on purpose. Perhaps he knew why I was calling.

“Daddy, I really need a job,” I explained, crossing my legs

“What happened to Ariana Wyatt?” he asked. “Or all those agencies you’ve been applying to?”

“Ariana Wyatt never called me back and all of the agencies I’ve been trying to get in with are full,” I elaborated. “Look, I’m not asking you to hire me forever but working at Hawthorne and Dale will look really great on a résumé, so you’d be doing me a
huge
favor.”

He sucked on his teeth.

“I don’t like you working in the industry to begin with,” he grumbled. “You know this.”

I
did
know it. Ever since I was a young girl, I told my father how much I wanted to be a model. Instead of supporting me, he would tell me that he never wanted me to join the fashion industry. Unfortunately for him, I’m a stubborn girl that always looked up to her father. I would join the industry whether he liked it or not. He knew it too.

“Daddy, I know, but you’ll make me the happiest girl on the planet if you give me a job. Please, please, please,” I begged. “I’ll do
anything
.”

“Anything?” he laughed. “Well, in that case, sure. I’ll give you a job. I need a new talent agent.”

I frowned. He seemed to be doing everything he could to make sure that I never became a model.

“I won’t be modeling?” I asked. “I was really hoping for a modeling job…”

Deep down, I knew that my modeling career would not last long. Though I was still slim, I was gaining weight every day.

“It’s either this or nothing,” he asserted.

“Okay,” I agreed. “But what exactly do I do? Just go around and find models?”

He chuckled and replied, “It’s not
that
easy. Look, I’ve gotta leave town tomorrow, but come on in. Anthony will be here. I’ll have him show you the ropes.”

My heart was pounding in my chest. I had not seen Anthony since our run-in at the fashion show in Los Angeles.

“A-Anthony?” I stammered. “Can’t one of the other talent managers just—”

“They’re busy. Anthony won’t be,” he cut me off. “Why? Do you have a problem with my business partner?”

I gave him an awkward smile and shook my head.

At least it’ll give me a chance to talk to him,
I thought.
Captive audience.

It wasn’t the way that I wanted to tell him, but it would have to do.

Anthony seemed shocked to find me in his office. It was eight o’ clock in the morning, which was the earliest I had been up since college. A cup of coffee was in my hand, and I was lucky I didn’t spill it as soon as we met eyes.

“L-Lilli! What’re you doing here?” he asked, his eyes wide. “Shouldn’t you uh—shouldn’t you be in school or something?”

I laughed and threw a smirk his way.

“I’m not a
teenager
, Anthony,” I said. “My dad gave me a job. I’m here to work.”

He narrowed his eyes. He didn’t seem enthused by the idea of us working together.

“And your dad—he doesn’t know about us?” he asked.

“Of course not,” I replied, shaking my head. “No reason to worry him.”

He let out a sigh of relief.

“Yes, no need to worry him at all,” he said, scratching the back of his neck. “So how have you been? Busy?”

I shrugged.

“Not really. That’s why I’m here. I need some cash.”

“Fair enough,” he murmured. “Well, we always have room for a beautiful woman on the staff. Welcome to Hawthorne and Dale.”

His hand was outstretched. It was strange to shake hands with the man that took my virginity. I obliged, nonetheless.

“So about the fashion show—”

“Never happened,” he interjected. “I don’t even know what you’re talking about.”

I frowned.

“But—”

“No buts. I’m your boss now, and if I say it didn’t happen, it didn’t happen”.
