Baby, I was looking all over for you.” He put his arm around Yesina’s waist and kissed her cheek.

I’m sorry, looked who I bumped into.”

Sexi Lexi,” he said as he looked at her with lust in his eyes.

Lexi raised her brows. “Someone likes porn, huh?”

I’ve caught a couple in my lifetime.”

Lexi just looked at him. “So, Sin, where you at now?”

San Leandro. You should come over tomorrow and hang out.”

I can do that.”

Damn, we got a lot of catching up.”

Well, come to VIP with us and chill for the rest of the night.”

Oh, hell yea, that’s what’s up,” Todd responded.

The next day, Lexi got up as early as she could and headed to her sister’s. Her apartment wasn’t horrible, but Lexi expected more. Todd wasn’t home and that made Lexi happy. She wanted some alone time to get the 411.

So, what’s been up?”

Everything. I’ve gone through the ups and downs with Todd hard, but I love him. When I found out I was having twins I almost shitted on myself. I want to do better for them, though. I’m thinking of going to school.”

That’s great.”

So, what’s good with you?”

I’m just living life.”

How the hell did you get into porn?”

Chance meeting. Me and Bianca were in LA chilling and Harold walked up to us and dropped off his card. Bianca left to chill with Twin, so I called the nigga up and the rest is history.”

How you feel fucking in front of cameras?”

Don’t make me none. The money good and I love the party life.”

I don’t even party that much. Last night was the first time I was out in a while. I stopped by Auntie Lizzie’s ‘bout a year or so ago. No one was there but her and that was a good thing. We chatted a lil’ bit.”

She’s always been good peoples. I haven’t seen her since I left her house that night.”

Why didn’t you stay to finish school and stuff?”

Lexi shook her head. “Just wasn’t the life for me. Auntie Lizzie was hardly home ‘cause she worked so much, so me and Christy freak ass got away with a lot, but I was tired of it.”

Christy a freak?”

You have no idea. She fucked a gang of dicks the little while I was there, no telling how many more she fucked.”

Damn, that’s crazy.”

They talked a little more, and then Todd walked in with a few of his friends. Lexi could tell he brought them over to stare in her face. She wasn’t ashamed of her job, but she didn’t like how he seemed to be overly excited. Yesina spoke to his friends, and then Todd introduced them to Lexi with a wide grin on his face.

Damn, I’ve seen all your movies,” one of them said.

You need to let me wear that ass out,” another said.

Lexi laughed while Yesina got visibly upset. “Leave her alone.”

It’s good, sis.” Lexi shook her head as she looked them all up and down. “Trust, y’all can’t afford me, and you damn sure can’t handle me.”

You don’t know what I can afford.”

Lexi smirked. “You right, but again, you can’t afford me.” Lexi looked at her sister. “Girl, I got a few runs I need to make, but I’ll be back before I head back home.”

You better come back.”

Lexi jumped in the car and rode around. She loved LA, the partying, the nightlife, the shopping, but there was no place like home. Bianca offered her to stay at her place, but she didn’t want to impose on their newfound family life. Instead, she got a room at the Motel 6 on Hegenburger until she figured out what she was going to do. She had plenty of money to stay somewhere else, but she loved being in the heart of the hood.

She finally stopped at Bank Roll’s grave. She hadn’t visited him in a while and needed to talk. She pulled up to the cemetery and parked the clean ass BMW she had borrowed from Bianca. She grabbed the bag that contained the pint of Hennessy to go with her coke. She slowly walked toward his tombstone and sat down next to it. She cleared the dead flowers and placed the fresh ones she bought. She cracked open her bottle and took a swig.

Damn, daddy, I miss you. I know you know I been living a wild life, but that’s who I am, right?” She pulled out a compact, made two lines, and then sniffed them. “I didn’t know I would hurt so bad not having you. This powder the magic elixir, I don’t feel so much pain.” She leaned against his tombstone and let her tears fall. “Then, this nigga wanna go and ask me to marry him. I ain’t the marrying type, daddy. Sex is our business, we have no business trying to do normal people shit.”

That was really the reason Lexi popped up in the Bay Area. Her and Harold had gone to dinner. Like one of those cheesy romance movies, she went to the bathroom and when she returned, there was a huge diamond ring in her champagne glass. Her eyes were wide and her mouth was dropped, but she had no idea what to do. She had never told Harold her real age, she wasn’t ready for that kind of commitment, and she felt bad because she was actually feeling him. She started feeling like she had betrayed Bank Roll. She wanted to be strong like her aunt and never love another, but she couldn’t deny that she felt something for the man sitting in front of her proposing marriage.

They spent many nights away from each other, but spent many more together. They had gone on a few vacations and there were never any arguments about who was fucking whom. They had a mutual understanding and a mutual respect, and the proposal would change it all. Not knowing what else to do, she slipped away while Harold was doing business and left him a card stating she would talk to him soon.

Baby girl, you need to slow down. I know you a hustla, but you gotta do shit the right way. I was looking forward to seeing you walk across the stage. Just because I’m not there in the physical don’t mean I’m wasn’t going to be there for you.” She heard Bank Roll’s voice so clearly. She wiped her eyes with her sleeve and looked around.

Look at my little Lexi. You’re a beautiful woman, but what did I tell you? Drugs fuck your worth off. Stop putting that shit up ya nose. Your sister is better now, and you need to get better, too. Get it together and listen to the right instincts to get you through life.” That time, it was her daddy that she heard loud and clear.

She looked down at the rest of the powder she had. “Where the fuck did Harold get this shit?” she asked herself.

She sighed. They both were right. She knew she could get her GED, and maybe she could go to Laney and take a few courses until she figured her life out. Drugs had her walking around in a haze. She fucked, sucked, got paid, and lived lavish. She was a shell, not having any real emotions or feelings. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to do, but she had to do something.

She wiped her tears and sat there for another hour talking to Bank Roll and her daddy, and even her mother. There were so many things in her life she needed to re-evaluate and she didn’t know where to start. She figured she’d let the high wear off and give her life a real thought. While she waited on that, she went to Chili’s for a couple of margaritas, and some kind of food to soak up some of the Hennessy and drugs. She tried to force a few chips down her throat, but all she cared about was a top shelf margarita. Once the drink was placed in front of her and she took a big sip, she sat back and exhaled as she looked at the ring.

Well, well, well, Ms. Savage in the flesh.”

Lexi whipped her head around to see Ms. Hope standing there looking sexy as ever. She had on a midnight blue dress with strappy heeled sandals and her hair was up in a bun with a few curled strands framing her face. There was a time when Lexi’s heart raced fast at just the sight of the older, very experienced woman. She had been a million miles of places since then, though, so she gave her a once over and picked up her drink.

Ms. Hope sat in the chair across from her. When the waiter returned, he asked if she would be joining and if he could get her anything. “Yes, I’ll have what she’s sipping on.” She leaned back casually in the seat as if she had been invited. “My little Lexi is a woman now. Well, you always were a woman, but you’ve grown into it.” Lexi remained motionless as she looked at her uninvited guest. “I see you’re not amused,” she said to break the awkward silence. “Look, I’ll go ahead and cut to the chase. Do you believe in destiny, in things happening just the way they are supposed to?”

Depends,” Lexi answered with a shrug, finally breaking her silence.

Ms. Hope was still fine. She had her hair pulled back in a bun and her shape was on point. The low cut top showcased her cleavage while the short skirt make her legs seem a mile long. She was still a class act, but Lexi wanted Ms. Hope out of her face.

The waiter came back with her margarita. When he left, Ms. Hope continued. “About a year ago I was out with some of my friends and I met a guy. He’s a regular guy, different from anyone I’ve ever dated, but he’s so sweet and adores me. He asked me to marry him last night and I ran out on him. My life is wild and free, but he offers that normalcy I’ve been craving. I came here today to weigh the pros and cons of life, and I just told myself if I could find someone to take over my business, I’d marry him and leave.”

Lexi almost wanted to confide that she was in almost the same situation. Almost. It did amaze her that they both had been given marriage proposals and they both ran away. With Lexi, she knew Harold could definitely keep up and there would be no normalcy or her having to change anything about her lifestyle. Finally, she said, “What does all this have to do with me?”

I know things didn’t end on the best terms and I’m sorry. If it means anything, I liked you more than the rest,” Ms. Hope offered with a seductive smile.

Lexi rolled her eyes. “It doesn’t, so get on with it.”

You’re a smart girl. I have a business and I know you would be perfect to take over for me.”

How do you know that?” Lexi asked with a raised brow.

Because, Sexi Lexi Savage, I know you are about
your
business.”

Lexi smirked at Ms. Hope addressing her by her porn name. Never one to put emotions over money, she put her elbows on the table and rested her chin on her hands. “No one knows all my business, Ms. Hope. Keep talking.”

Last time I checked, you were supposed to be eighteen to be in movies, at least that’s what the disclaimers say. If my calculations are right, you probably just turned seventeen.”

Well, for anyone that checks, I am at least eighteen.” Ms. Hope smiled. “So, what kind of business is this?”

It’s a call girl business, well, call boy. Just like men pay top dollar for a pretty young thang they can fuck, women pay just as much for a young stallion to blow their back out. I have a nice list of customers that consists of doctors, lawyers, business women, singers. And, I have an equally nice stable of young men.”

Why not girls?”

Too messy, complain, always have issues. You know the saying with boys, young, dumb, and full of cum. They get to fuck top notch bitches and get paid, plus, whatever extras they get from the women. I’m willing to put a goldmine in your lap, all you have to do is say yes.”

What’s in it for you?” Lexi knew nothing in life was free.

Ms. Hope raised her hands. “This time, absolutely nothing. Like I first stated, I’m in love and I want to leave this life behind. I’ve built a reputable business and I didn’t want to freeze it, but I didn’t want to leave it in the hands of someone not capable. How about this, just come by and take a look at things.” She slid a card across the table to Lexi.

I’ll think about it.”

Don’t think too long.” Ms. Hope finished her drink and then got up to leave.

Lexi sat there for a minute, mindlessly eating a few chips. She knew she would take Ms. Hope up on her offer. If she knew nothing else, she knew sex was an unlimited industry. There were many people that damned sinners to hell, but there were three times as many that accepted their damnation and were all about sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Lexi grabbed her purse to pay the bill and saw that Ms. Hope had left a hundred dollar bill on the table. “Thanks, boo,” she said to herself before she left.

She went to her room and knew the next day was the beginning of a new day. She knew Harold wouldn’t give her any slack about leaving. She had filmed more than enough scenes to keep her legacy going for a while.

Chapter 18

After Lexi went to Ms. Hope’s home and checked out her operation, she was impressed. She knew some things would change, but there were a lot of things she liked. She had seven men that were between the ages of eighteen and twenty four. A couple of the faces Lexi remembered from school, one of them being Rico, the fine brotha that was fucking some dude that was eating Ms. Hope’s pussy that night. There were twenty seven women, most of them wanted to be serviced maybe once a month. As things stood, there was never a scheduling conflict. She wasn’t running a sleazy nickel and dime set up. She had a couple of standing rooms at the Marriot in a couple of cities. One of her clients was a regional manager and set that up for her. The room fee was included in the booking fee, which was fifteen hundred. Six hundred went to Ms. Hope and the rest to the chosen man. Easy money. She did a background check on the women and the men got tested every six months. They were all chiseled and fine. Lexi met them the next time she entered Ms. Hope’s lavish home, a different home than she had visited in high school.
