Siatia gasped. “No one speaks to my
brother like that and lives. What power do you have over
him?”

She turned to face the women. “I don’t
know about power, but affection, attraction, and love together are
a big thing. I’m also not terrified of him like you two seem to be.
Although, you’re not scared enough not to defy him, and betray your
people.”

Danickra scrubbed his face. “I have no
idea what I’m going to do. You got some good men killed and wrecked
one of my ships.” He advanced on his sisters, and they
cowered.

Opal groaned and stopped Danickra from
going any further. “I think they need punishment and some kind of
confinement. You need to call all the leaders together, and you
need to use your sisters to find out how far things have gone and
who else is involved. We can’t kill them now, and we can’t let them
go. There is no other option but to imprison them and get the
information out of them as to who’s behind all this. So we aren’t
seen as weak, make it known they are on death row for their crimes.
You can always pardon them at a later date if they cooperate. I
have a feeling from yesterday that all the women are involved, and
you may regret killing all of them. There is always the chance you
may find a cure that can help your women have children.”

Danickra nodded. “You are right. Get
dressed, and I will call the leaders.”

He grabbed his sisters and dragged
them out of the room.

They cried that they were innocent,
that they knew nothing about the plot, and that torturing them
wouldn’t get them any new information

Opal stared at the panel as it closed
and knew the Inteli were in for a shock when they finally figured
out that humans were smarter than they thought and a lot of changes
were going to happen around here the more human woman they brought.
Opal just hoped there was a way to salvage a friendship with the
Inteli women.

Going to the closet she got dressed
and went to find her mate and husband, knowing that no matter what
happened she would be happy she found her soul mate. Opal was going
to be a Queen. She would show them all how human women managed a
rebellion.

Walking into the huge lounge room she
found all the leaders staring at Danickra’s sisters, who sat on the
sofa with their faces filled with terror. Opal walked straight to
Danickra and sat on his lap. He leaned down and kissed her
neck.

I love you also. I am the
luckiest Inteli in the universe to have you as my youmnda, my
Queen, and my savior,” Danickra whispered in her ear.

Easing back against him she spoke loud
and clear. “You, Danickra, are the one to save me. You’ve given me
a home, family, friends, and love.” She ignored for a moment the
other Inteli in the room and turned pressing a gentle kiss on
Danickra’s lips. “I love you. Thanks.”

Opal turned back around to face
everyone and be the strong fierce Queen by Danickra’s side. As she
got comfortable, Danickra’s arms came around her, and she took over
like the Queen she was, telling them what they’d all be doing to
catch the culprits involved in the rebellion.

Epilogue

Bablin, leader of the Purple clan
fumed as he stormed from his quarters. He’d been undercover, as
Opal the Yellow clan Queen, called it for almost two months. He’d
just found out some huge information, and it involved his own
conniving mother. He didn’t know if he wanted to strangle her or
give her some of her own medicine.

He rushed to the secret meeting place
to see Opal and Danickra, carefully making sure he was not
followed. He rounded a corner only to pause as the most beautiful
creature stood yelling at Griva and Quarm outside of the medical
bay. She had black hair that was in a plait at her back, and her
skin was a light brown. Her pink lips were full and plump and her
white blunt teeth straight. Her body was similar to Opal’s, with
large breasts and a wide waist and short, shapely legs. The woman
was taller than Opal but not by much, he guessed.

Bablin wanted to get closer to her. He
felt a pull and knew he needed to. He also wanted to know what the
problem was.

She is going to need a
lot more than just me and Grace. For starters, she needs vitamins,
and her blood pressure is high, and I think she’s under way too
much stress. And don’t get me started on what she’s eating. Also I
want to know why she gets carried everywhere, for crying out loud.
She is only four and a half months pregnant. It may be triplets,
but—”

Opal hobbled out of the room pushing
Danickra’s hands away from her. “Sorry, Daphne. These men are
really thick-headed. I’ve been telling them since I started to show
that I can bloody well walk. I don’t need to be carried. If it
wasn’t for the sex I think I’d be as big as a house already from
lack of exercise.”

Daphne turned to Opal, and her
features softened. “I don’t know how you’ve done it. These aliens
are stubborn and bossy. They’re worse than earth men. When you
deliver your babies I’m going to be so happy to go home and get
away from these hulking idiots.”

A
roar came from Bablin as he charged Daphne. She wasn’t going back
to earth. She was his. He didn’t care if his mother was a traitor
and he had to kill her himself and all the other people involved in
the rebellion. He was claiming his mate and making it safe for her
to stay with him whether she liked it or not.

As he flung a screaming Daphne over
his shoulder he heard Opal’s laughter as she told Danickra not to
go after him and that they’d just lost their best spy.
