Renaldo licked his lips and rubbed her ass. He smacked her ass. She put a dip in her back and kept bouncing on his lap. He did love her ass. In the skirts she wore around Mirabella’s. In the dress she wore that night. And now, most of all now, bouncing and shaking on his cock. Kyra reclined back into his chest. He gripped her by the breast with one hand and her pussy knot by the other while angling his hips for upward strikes.

“Make me cum, I want to, with you,” she wheezed.

He toyed with her bud and fucked her in the liberating position to drive them both closer to their threshold. And collapse they did.

Kyra giggled.

Renaldo smiled. “Who are you, Kyra?” he asked.

“Mmm, I’m just Kyra,” she replied. Renaldo’s eyes rolled in his head. His deflating cock didn’t want release. And neither did he.

Chapter Five

The Day After – Saturday & Sunday

Kyra heard voices in her head. She frowned and tried to determine who spoke first. Then the door closed. Her eyes flashed open. She looked around the room not sure of where she was. The wine had her feeling as if someone had driven spikes through her skull.

“Spikes through skull?” she frowned. She remembered the tattoo, she remembered the sex, and she remembered the man. Kyra sat up in bed, covering her nudity with the blanket. Renaldo walked in. He was dressed in a tailored suit, freshly shaved, smelling like a king. He looked at her for a moment and then smiled.

“I must go,” he informed her.

“Go? Are you kidding?” she asked.

“Order food if you like. A car awaits you,” he said.

“What do you mean go? Are you tossing me out?” she asked not able to mask her surprise and hurt. He looked at her as if he didn’t understand English. She knew he struggled with it. But it was a simple question. “Are you trying to get rid of me?”

He chuckled. “Marietta and Catalina intend to do shopping. Tour the city. It is my job to see to it. Keep safe,” he said.

“Oh? Oh, okay,” Kyra sighed. She chewed on her bottom lip as he picked up his keys. Instead of fucking him all night she should have told him about how desperate she was for an interview with Catalina. She should have at least told him she needed his help or her dreams would not happen.

“Renaldo?” she said as he headed to the door.

“Can I see you again? Tonight?”

He stared at her for a moment. Kyra never failed at what she set her mind to. And right now her mind was set.

“No. I have to work,” he replied.

“Tomorrow then? Brunch? Here, in your suite? What will Catalina and Marietta want to do on a Sunday?” she smiled.

“Mass, they are Catholic,” he answered in that stone cold formal tone of his.

“Oh? Really?” she asked.

He smiled and she felt relief. He was teasing her. He did want to see her again. At the very least he should admit it.

“I will call you. Leave a number,” he winked and was gone.

Kyra dropped back on the headboard and closed her eyes. He’d call her? She should have offered to give the Battaglia women the tour. Why didn’t she think to offer? “Damn it!” she hit her pillow. Kyra scratched her brow. She cast her gaze to the left. Renaldo had laid her dress out flat and neatly folded her undergarments on top. Her shoes rested to the side. The presentation was so neat it felt odd.

The man was more than tidy he was obsessed with order. She was chaos personified. They could never work as a couple. She dropped back on her pillow and grinned. But damn she sure wouldn’t mind trying.

Kyra eased out of the back of the private car. The driver assisted. “Thank you,” she said. He tipped his hat and walked around the car to the front. She stood on the sidewalk and watched him drive away. The morning chill was brisk enough to keep her coat closed over her cocktail dress. Though she showered at Renaldo’s suite she felt the need to get clean and under her own covers. As she headed up the stairs she smiled to herself and thought about her wild night.

“Kyra!” a man called her name.

She glanced back. To her surprise it was Cezar.

“Where have you been?” he frowned.

“Cezar, what the hell are you doing here?” Kyra asked. He walked up to her with a hoodie over his head. He shoved his hands down into his pockets as he approached. She was shocked to see him in front of her place.

“We need to talk. You said we could today,” Cezar said.

“I did not! Are you stalking me?” she asked.

He shook his head. “How can I stalk my girlfriend?”

Kyra took a step toward him. “Cezar? I’m not your girlfriend. It’s over. Finished. Stop coming around here, stop calling. Just stop, okay?”

“What the hell is your problem, Kyra? You decide that I don’t matter and then just like that we’re done!” He snapped his finger. “Well fuck you! We aren’t done. Do you hear me?”

Kyra took a defensive step back.

“Where were you all night? I was out here all fucking night in the cold waiting, and you weren’t here! Where were you?”

Kyra turned and bolted up her stairs. She half expected him to run her down. But when she reached her door she looked back and he stood on the sidewalk fuming. She punched in her key code and then buzzed herself inside. She peeked out at him from behind the safety of the glass door. Cezar didn’t move. He didn’t blink. Shaken she backed away. She tried to recall the moment Cezar went from a goofy good lay to a psycho stalker. Kyra could not. Maybe his obsessive need to be around her when they dated was the clue. Either way she knew things between her and Cezar had shifted into a different territory. And it scared her.

Cezar broke the stare off. He walked away. The drama was over. Shaken, Kyra went to the elevators and waited for the fast pace of her heart to normalize. By the time she reached her floor her hands were shaking. It wasn’t until she was in her apartment did she feel safe. Kyra threw down her purse and went back to the window. She looked out of it. Cezar sat in his car staring up at her apartment.

“Shit!” she went to her phone and picked it up dialing in a hurry. Kyra paced, chewing on her fresh manicure. “Pick up, please.”

“Hello?”

“Jamie? Can you come down here? It’s an emergency.”

“On my way, sweetie.” Jamie said.

She hung up. Kyra hugged herself. What the hell was going on? She paced in her dress forgetting she should change to keep from causing any damage to the garment. In a matter of minutes there was a knock on the door. Kyra went to the door and opened it. She hugged Jamie with a gush of relief.

“Whoa, sweetheart, you’re shivering. What the hell happened to you last night? Did you just get home?” Jamie forced her to break the embrace and cupped her face. “Kyra? Stop it. Tell me what happened?”

“Cezar,” Kyra said, her bottom lip quivering. “He… uh, he’s outside. He scared me, Jamie.”

“What? He did what?” Jamie pushed past her and walked to the window. She drew back the curtain and scanned the street. “Where? Where is he?”

Kyra closed the door and engaged the locks. She walked over and peered out the window with Jamie. Cezar’s car was gone.

“He left,” she sighed with relief.

“Who in the Sam Hades does that Poindexter think he is?” Jamie said with more bass in her voice than usual. “What the hell did he do?”

“I came home and he was here. Come to think of it last night when I left he was here. And he… I think he’s stalking me.” Kyra sat down. “This is my fault,” she shook her head.

“How the hell is it your fault?” Jamie sat next to her on her tiny sofa. She smoothed down her hair.

Kyra leaned forward with her elbows to her knees and fingers pressed against her eyes to keep from crying. “I broke up with him, but I let him come over for sex a few times. I was sending mixed signals.”

“Bullshit! Honey, there are only two signals to send a man when it’s done. Red and green. Stop and go. You told the fucker both. Let me go upstairs and get my bat!”

“Wait!” Kyra grabbed her hand. She forced Jamie to sit back down. “He’s gone. Maybe he got the message. He won’t come back. He’s been really aggressive. He came to my job yesterday. It’s weird.”

“We need to call the police,” Jamie said.

“Why?” Kyra asked.

“So it’s on record he’s stalking you. And when I kill that fucker I won’t get hard time.” Jamie huffed.

Kyra laughed. She smiled until the tears dried in her eyes. “He’s gone. If he comes back I’ll call them.”

“Good. Now what the hell are you doing coming home at eleven in the morning? Honey, the party ended before breakfast I’m sure.”

Kyra closed her eyes and smiled. Renaldo was her dream lover. She hurt so bad between her thighs and still she craved more.

“Renaldo,” she said his name aloud. She opened her eyes and smiled. “Remember I told you about him? We saw him on the television.”

“The enforcer?” Jamie asked.

“Yes. But he’s a gentleman. A bodyguard. Not some hit man. I told you that,” Kyra said.

“He’s a sexy drank of water from what I could see on the news. But, Kyra, if he works for that family honey, he’s more than a bodyguard.”

“I was at the party. There were no ‘made’ guys there.” Kyra laughed with air quotes. “Just boring dinner conversation. And a ton of ass kissing. Oh and get this. The Battaglias plan to close the New York office. They intend to relocate to Paris and Italy.”

“Wow! Seriously? Perfect!”

“No it’s not perfect,” Kyra frowned. “How is that perfect?”

“You showed them your shoes right? Made your pitch?”

Kyra rose. She needed to change. And changing in front of Jamie was no problem. Jamie told her flat out, she was transsexual not a lesbian. She liked dick just as much as the next girl. Kyra ran the zipper down as she walked into her bedroom. Jamie was hot on her heels.

“So? Spill the beans, honey, what did they say?”

“I didn’t get a chance to. I couldn’t get in the conversation. But Marietta Battaglia noticed my shoes. When she asked if they were Mirabella’s I told her no. I told her I designed them.”

“Really?”

“Yes,” Kyra smiled. “But then Bette turned on me. Insulted me. Marietta Battaglia didn’t like it. She took up for me.”

“Wait, color me confused, honey, but I thought Bette was on our team?” Jamie frowned.

“She was, until she saw me as competition.” Kyra sighed.

“That fish! Eeew I hate snotty bitches. Glad I wasn’t there.” Jamie paced and ranted. “Would have caught her two-faced ass in the bathroom and put this size nine up her…”

“Oh be quiet,” Kyra chuckled. “It didn’t matter. Did you hear me? Marietta stood up for me. They noticed me.”

Jamie flopped down on the bed.

“Can you fix the hem on the dress? I need to take it in to the office on Monday.”

“Sure thing,” Jamie said. “So? This is it right? You interview with them and you take in your samples. This is it, baby girl. I can feel it.”

Kyra stepped out of the dress and hung it on the back of her door, with nothing underneath she was stark naked. She eased on her robe to cover her nudity. Jamie was staring at her with a funny frown to her face.

“What?”

“Skip the work part. Tell me why there are love bites on your stomach, thighs and ass?”

Kyra only discovered them when she was in the shower in Renaldo’s suite. Kyra had to grin at the naughty placement. “I told you the night ended with Renaldo.”

“Honey, it looks like you let the man use you as his chew toy? How freak nasty was it, girl?”

Kyra walked over and sat on the bed with Jamie. “He has the biggest penis I’ve ever seen in my life. H-U-G-E!”

Jamie howled with laughter.

“I’m serious. Jamie, before he laid a hand on me he taught me this word. ‘
Rallenti
’ in Italian, it means slow down. I didn’t think anything of it. But girl when he got on top of me. I thought he was going to kill me at first it was so thick and long. I’m still not sure he got all of it in me.”

Jamie continued to laugh.

Kyra smiled. “Then my body adjusted and it was so good. He was so good. We had fun. Lots and lots, and lots of fun.”

Jamie wiped at her tears.

Kyra smile faded. “It was on me though. All of it. He uhm, he didn’t seduce me or anything. I went to his suite. Kind of invited myself in. And this morning it was over.”

“Well you had fun. No harm there.” Jamie shrugged. “And I told you it’s best to leave them wanting more.”

Kyra had to consider it. She was not typically chained emotionally to any lover. Jamie said for her youth it was strange that she could breeze in and out of her relationships. Her sisters said she was behaving like some wild child whore. And her mother and father weren’t speaking to her. Jamie was the only person in her life that didn’t make her feel that her impulsive rebellious ways didn’t make her into some ungrateful spoiled brat.

“Last night he wanted me to sleep on his chest. He held me all night. He was a gentleman. But I didn’t go to his room for just sex.” Kyra looked over to Jamie. “I went there for help. I think he can help me get an interview with Catalina Battaglia.  Between her and Marietta I think she is the one calling the shots.”

“Did he say he would?” Jamie asked.

“Well we didn’t get around to discussing it. But I will see him Sunday. He’s a really nice guy.” Kyra scooted back to her pillows. Jamie joined her. She opened her arms so Kyra could hold on to her as she had done with her mother many times when she needed comfort. Jamie rubbed her arm and kissed the top of her head.

“Be careful, butterfly. I don’t know much about the Battaglias except what’s been in the papers since that fashion diva Mirabella rose from the dead and married that Mafia Don. They said there was a recent blood bath in Naples and her husband was the cause. Some big Mafia boss confessed to the crimes. I think you should think of applying to Parsons again. See if you can get moved up on the waiting list.”

“No. Mirabella’s is where I want to be,” Kyra yawned. “Renaldo will help me. And when I have my own shoe division you and I will take Paris by storm.”

Jamie chuckled. “Shit. I’m ready, honey!”

Kyra opened her eyes. The buzzer to her apartment rang from the wall intercom. Jamie had rolled over and was sleep on her side. Jamie could sleep through a tornado. Kyra eased out of bed and went to the intercom. “Hello?”
