Eve,
however, didn’t seem to notice my failing bravado as she gently pushed the
surprisingly warm contraption into my pussy. I wasn’t wrong – it
did
hurt. Like a bitch, to be honest. The
last contraption I’d had inside of me was the dildo Eve had brought with her
and that was a good deal smaller.

True
to her word, though, Eve was moving so slowly that she was barely thrusting at
all. That was good – it gave me a chance to get used to her. The walls of my
soaked pussy reluctantly expanded to the girth, making me shiver with pleasure.

The
view was very nice; Eve’s face was focused on mine in rapt concentration, and
the view of her luscious body was well worth any discomfort the toy was giving
me. Her breasts were teasing me, hanging free just inches away from my face.

Not
being able to help myself, I leaned to the right and wrapped my lips around her
tender nipple. She gasped and, forgetting gentleness, plunged herself deep
inside of me. Fortunately, she’d been going so slow that I was used to its size
by now…and I was ready for her.

“Did
I hurt you?” Eve asked worriedly, and she began to slide out of me.

I
shook my head emphatically and wrapped my legs around her thighs, effectively
stopping her retreat. “Don’t pull out, I’m ready…I want you to fuck me, I want
you to give me something to remember you by…!”

Encouraged
by my enthusiasm, she slid all the way inside of me. The toy was so long that I
was almost afraid it would break through to my stomach or something, but I
didn’t care. The way she moved inside of me mixed with the vibration coursing
through the rod was sending me into a frenzy of passion.

Though
I’d accepted the fact that I was into women now, I had missed the feeling of
really being
fucked
…the strap-on
solved both problems. Eve’s sexy form above me and the vibrating rod below me –
it was a delicious contrast.

“Yes,
yes, oh Eve, yes!” I howled, knowing that our neighbors would hear me but not
giving much of a shit at the moment. They’d be off the ship tomorrow anyways. “Fuck
me, yes, oh god, yes…fuck me! Just like that, just like…!”

As
if in response to an unasked question, Eve fiddled with the controls on the leg
strap and the vibration coursing through the shaft seemed to skyrocket. As if
from a million miles away, I felt my fingers digging into Eve’s back as I
writhed in pleasure. The vibrations and Eve’s rhythmic motion as she fucked me
were sending me over the edge, and I knew it wouldn’t be long before she made
me cum.

The
next few minutes passed by a blur of pleasure-soaked images that passed before
my eyes like dreams: Eve’s dark green eyes blazing with lust and desire, the
cool air around us, the ever-so-slight vibration of the ship that I’d long
since gotten used to. It all culminated into the best night I’d ever had with
Eve…and since no one had ever been better than her, it was the best night of my
life thus far.

“You’re
so cute when you’re about to cum,” Eve smirked. The shaft nearly slid out of
me, but she pushed it all the way in with one swift motion.

“Shut
up and fuck me,” I ordered, not wanting to be called
cute
in this situation. Eve smiled again but obeyed, her face once
again slipping into the concentration she had when she was in the middle of
pleasing me. It didn’t really matter, though – my eyes clamped shut and my hand
shot out to claw at the sheet that was just barely still covering the mattress.

“I’m
gonna
, oh God, yes! Right there, yes, you’re
gonna
make me cum, yes…! Yes!”

Eve
murmured something along the lines of ‘do it’, but I didn’t hear her. My entire
being was focused on the cascading wave of pleasure that shot up from my pussy to
my spine, and I could feel the pleasure crashing against the rest of my body
like an angry ocean wave on the beach.

My
eyes were clamped shut and I knew my mouth was wide open, but no sound came out
– I couldn’t even moan in pleasure, let alone shriek.

When
my voice finally began to work again, the only thing I could manage was little
snippets like “oh, god,” and “wow” for about two minutes. Eve, knowing
first-hand how uncomfortable the strap-on could get after
cumming
,
slipping the rod out of me and had collapsed onto the bed beside my quivering
body.

Her
fingers brushed my hair lightly as she waited for me to calm. It was a peaceful
moment; the only sounds we could hear were the vibrations of the
Excelsius
engines and the pitiful gasps
of breath I was taking.

“Jeez,
Amanda, you made a mess,” Eve said, looking down at her stiff rod. I peeked
down at the strap-on and saw the streaks of white all along the side of it.

“Take
it as a compliment,” I said, shrugging.

“Oh,
I do.” Eve slipped out of the toy and tossed it to the side of the bed. It
dangled precariously before tottering to the floor. Neither of us seemed
inclined to get up and grab it. “I’m sorry for making you feel bad earlier.”

“I
haven’t changed my mind, you know,” I said stubbornly.

“Yeah,
I figured you hadn’t. Listen, can you make me a deal, at least?”

“Fine.”

“I
want you to stay on the ship for one more week, okay? If-”

“No
deal.”

“Would you listen to me for a
minute?!”
Eve
asked, her voice rising in annoyance. “Just one week. If you don’t hear good
news within the next week, then you can follow me into the wilderness or
whatever.

“Look,
Amanda, I know that you love to dance. You’re the best performer on this ship. People
are on the waitlist to get jobs like yours for months, even years. Being a
performer on this ship is a highly coveted position...”

“How
the hell would you know?” I asked, knowing it was a cruel question but not
caring much. I didn’t like her deal or the implication that I would need to be
stuck without her for a whole week. We
just
began our relationship…I didn’t want the separations to start already!

“Never
mind that,” she asked, dismissing the question with a sweep of her hand. “Just
promise me you’ll stay? Please?”

I
glared at her for what seemed like an hour. Her face was desperate and hopeful;
the utter pitifulness of it melted my anger away. For whatever reason, this was
important to her. I could handle a week without Eve…I’d made it this long
without her before, right?

Besides,
if I didn’t hear any ‘good news’ by the time we got back into port seven days
from now, I’d be out and after her like a thirsty woman to water.

“Fine,”
I repeated, heaving a long sigh as I did so. “I don’t know why it’s so
important for you to have me stay employed here…especially since I plan on
following you next week anyways.”

“I’ll
worry about that. Just stay here and try and make the best of things. I’m
pretty sure that you’ll be okay with the arrangement by the next time we talk. Okay?”

Instead
of answering, I turned on my side and rested my head on her chest. I felt her
hands entwine themselves in my hair as they usually did, and I relished in the
steady beat of her heart. It was a lulling sound, and I’d fallen asleep to the
rhythm more than once over the week. Just as I started to feel myself slipping
into unconsciousness, I heard her whispering above me.

“By
the way…”

“Hmm…?”
I murmured, barely awake.

“I
love you too.”

“Are
you feeling any better, Amanda?” I heard Phil saying from behind me.

I
reluctantly turned to him, though there was nothing in the world I wanted to do
less than talk about how I was feeling. It was hard to believe that it’d only
been a week since I’d first seen the woman that had changed my world, my very
existence…and now I was supposed to smile and wave at new passengers aboard the
Excelsius
as if our week of love and
passion had never existed.

It
was a cruel trick that Eve was gone now and I was stuck here. No different from
last week, yet not even remotely the same.

“Not
really,” I said, though that was the biggest understatement I’d ever made in my
life.

Phil,
who was my direct manager, frowned at my response. He’d been unbelievably
sympathetic throughout the last week…what with me skipping rehearsals and
falling asleep in Eve’s room more than once. His patience with me, though,
seemed to be wearing thin. “You remember that talk we had a few weeks ago? About
you being more outgoing?”

“I’m
sorry, Phil,” I said. I honestly couldn’t have cared less. “I’m just going
through something right now, and it’s hard to leave it back in my room, you
know?”

Silence
fell between us for a few minutes, and I went back to shining my fake smile and
giving directions to the incoming tourists. Phil did the same, but I could tell
that he was as distracted by me as I was by thoughts of Eve. We’d only been
apart for about five hours and it’d already felt like an eternity since the
last time I’d seen her. This week was going to
suck
.

“Mind
if I run to the bathroom, Phil?” I asked.

He
nodded curtly at me, and I could tell he was annoyed. I hadn’t been his
favorite person since last week’s muster drill, though I could hardly blame him
– I’d been with Eve instead of at my post. Only Eve’s claim of ignorance had
gotten me off the hook. I had spent remarkably little time worrying about his
opinion of me since then…Eve had been a more important aspect to dwell on.

Ducking
down the crew hallway, I yanked my cellphone out of my pocket and dialed Eve
again…to receive her answering machine. I’d already left one message so far and
I didn’t want to be the psycho ex-girlfriend, so I hung up. The tears were
bubbling just under the surface, but I forced them back.

You can handle this
, I thought to myself.
It’s only a week. Get over it. Some of these
poor kids go months without seeing their girlfriends
.
You’re a big girl.

After
another minute to get my emotions back in order, I pushed open the crew hallway
and turned the corner into the lobby – whereupon I saw Phil in conversation
with a guest who’d just walked up; a guest that was toting a small, black
rolling tote bag.

“Where
is she?” I heard a familiar voice ask. She didn’t seem to wait for an answer as
she poked her head around Phil – and there she was. Somehow, inconceivably, Eve
was back. She was still dressed in the same black skirt and white blouse that
she’d worn off of the ship, though her sunglasses were now dangling from a
chain around her neck. Her face was radiant and warm, though her eyes looked
almost nervous.

I
noticed all of this later, mind you.
My
first reaction was to gasp and run forward, nearly barreling over Phil in my
attempt to get to her. I’m not sure how long we hugged – too long, most likely,
since I heard a conspicuous cough from somewhere behind me. Reluctantly, I let
Eve go…and, to my surprise, she was glaring at Phil unhappily.

“I’m
going to borrow her for a little while,” she said with finality as she looped
her arm around mine.

“But…Eve…I’m…”
I stammered, but Phil interrupted my rambling.

“Go
right ahead. You’re the boss.”

My
head darted around at that. “What’s that supposed
to-

“Come
on,” Eve said, pulling me gently but firmly towards the “Crew Only” door on the
side of the lobby. Without even a second glance at the sign, she led me inside
and down a series of twisting passages I’d never known even existed.

“Eve, what the hell?
Where are we going?”

“To…well,
you’ll see,” Eve replied evasively as we erupted out a set of doors near the
Toucan Isles. I figured she’d taken me here to eat, but she shocked me again by
going through yet another crew-only door. I was about to dig my feet into the
tile and demand an explanation, but a few winding hallways later, I received
one.

Though
I’d been on the ship for half a year, I still had no idea where the hell we
actually were. It didn’t matter, though – from the look of the interior
decorating, we were near the executive offices. The scuffed tile had been
switched out for fancy carpeting, and the cheap overhead lights had been
replaced by elegant lamps and faux candles.

The
hallway we were in ended at a dead end, and there were only three office doors
in sight with a golden nameplate affixed to each. One was for Andrew Dickson,
the CEO of the
Excelsius
fleet…one
was for Jacob
Anderssoff
, the captain of the ship…and
one…

“Eve…what the fuck?”
I asked, staring at disbelief at
the door that read EVE SIMMONS in giant, bold letters.

“Surprise,”
Eve said, sighing as she lifted up her
Excelsius
badge to unlock the door. It looked identical to mine, though hers had golden
strip running down the middle of it…the sign of an executive. The door opened,
revealing a spacious room that dwarfed the cabin I shared with two other
performers. A large mahogany desk was next to the small porthole, and two
comfortable-looking chairs sat before it.
