“Not inverted at all,” Percival said in between blows.

“Don’t I know that.”

“Bro, they’re magnificent.” Bors looked at his hands, then placed them on his chest. “Fuck.”

Gawain pushed off the table, ignoring his brothers’ laughter and comments about Alex’s breasts size. “Let’s go swimming, dickheads.”

“Do you think Alex needs a life vest? Those beautiful things might pull her down,” Percival asked, laughing.

Bors’s laughter followed him. “Bro, I think she’ll float. Her rack is like a buoy.”

“She’s a good swimmer,” Gawain replied without looking back. He smiled, though. Man, he knew how great Alex’s breasts were, but in a bathing suit? Damn, made his cock throb.

Addie and Percival went in first. Everyone watched Percival help Addie get on top of the inflatable bed.

“Stop groaning! I’m not that heavy.” Addie tried to get on the inflatable bed, but ended up rolling off it. She came up sputtering.

Percival was no help. He was laughing so hard, he couldn’t even lift his wife. “Honey, you okay?”

“Stop laughing.”

“Stop rolling like a ball, hon. Okay, here we go.”

“Wait! I’ll lay on my tummy.”

Percival lifted her up again and deposited her on the inflatable bed, but Addie lost her hold. She went down, head first, her feet up in the air forming a V, her big belly showing. She looked like a pregnant frog diving in the water.

Standing on the dock, everyone shouted their encouragement, hooted like drunks and, laughed so hard when Addie tried again and kicked Percival in the head.

“Maybe we should help,” Tristan said while massaging Julie’s neck.

“Yeah, we should. I want to go in now, anyway.” Bors slipped off his Birkenstocks and then took Taylor’s hand. “Ready, sweets?”

Taylor nodded, then plugged her nose. Both jumped in the water, creating a big splash with Tristan and Julie following them.

Gawain noticed Kirsten kept looking in the house’s direction. “Waiting for your prince?”

“He said he’s ten minutes away. He’s always late.”

“Snot. Isn’t he on duty today?”

“Overnighter.”

“Maybe he’s tired. Give him a break.”

“I told him not to come, but he insisted.”

“Who’s coming?”

“Edmund,” Gawain answered. He stood behind Alex and then wrapped his arms around her. She felt warm and so good in his arms that he didn’t want to let go. They should join the others, but he couldn’t seem to let go of Alex. “You’ve met him.”

“Yeah. He picked me up at the airport. He is such a gentleman.”

“I know.” Kirsten sighed.

“And very, very handsome, too.”

Kirsten’s eyes lit up. “You think so?”

“Yes! He’s like a delicious cake on the glass display case. You just want to look at him.”

Just like that, and he was already forgotten. Kirsten and Alex talked about Edmund’s nauseating attributes as if Gawain wasn’t even there. Funny though, his sister would go back and forth between expressing her admiration of Edmund and her annoyance with him as if she was trying to convince Alex that she wasn’t interested in him. He wanted to say something, but didn’t want the two to remember that he was still there and stop talking.

Kirsten knew a lot about Edmund, including his bad habits. Fuck, Gawain didn’t know Edmund liked to eat raw cookie dough. And what was that about nightly showers? It didn’t matter if it was the middle of the night or one in the afternoon. He wanted to ask how Kirsten came to know this, but he shut his mouth. Instead, Gawain stood there with Alex in his arms, caressing her soft skin, loving the feel of her body pressed against his. He nibbled on her neck. His body came to life. Alex must have felt him.

Alex tried to turn around, but he tightened his hold on her.

“You’re beautiful,” he whispered.

“Keep saying that and I’ll believe you.”

“Princess, are you going to swim, or stay here and wait for your prince?”

“I should wait. It’s only right.”

“If you say so.” Gawain rubbed Kirsten’s earlobe, making her squeal.

“Stop doing that. You’re giving me goose bumps.”

To Alex, Gawain explained. “Kirsten hated it when someone touched her earlobe.”

“Why?” Alex asked, laughing.

“Because Gawain’s pet rat decided to nibble on my ear.” Kirsten rubbed her arm briskly as if trying to get rid of something.

“When I was sixteen, a cockroach tried to get in my ear. Good thing it was too big,” Alex said.

“Oh, my freaking God! Please tell me you’re kidding, Alex. Cockroach! What did you do?”

“I screamed and passed out. When I woke up, I had a leaf soaked in vinegar pressed against my ear. The cockroach bit me.”

“Ewwww!” Kirsten started hopping and rubbing her neck.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?” Edmund asked.

Gawain turned to look at Edmund. He was shirtless and wearing a dark blue bathing suit that hung on his narrow hips. He couldn’t help but admire the man’s physique. Damn, he was ripped. So fucking ripped he wanted to cover Alex’s eyes.

“A cockroach bit Alex,” Kirsten explained in tiny voice.

“When?” Edmund frowned at Alex.

“When I was sixteen.”

“Sweetheart.” Edmund placed a hand on the small of Kirsten’s back. “I think we don’t have to worry about it now.”

Gawain scowled. He’d never heard the man call his sister anything but Kirsten. Sweetheart?

“Yeah, it happened a long time ago, Kirsten. My brother killed it with a slipper.”

“I hate cockroaches with passion.” Kirsten visibly shivered.

“Me, too. But I hate spiders even more. Nanni said whenever I see a spider I would freeze as if I’m seeing a ghost. And then I’d start sweating profusely, not talking. Just staring.”

“Maybe something happened when you were young that had to do with spiders,” Edmund said.

“I think so, too. Spiders would poke at my memories, but for some reason I could not remember why. Kirsten, you know, cockroaches are super icky especially when you smack it with a slipper. It had black and white guts.”

“Oh, my God. I think I’m going to throw up.”

Gawain chuckled. “Love, better stop talking about it or princess will rub her skin raw.”

“Yeah. The cockroach can’t hurt anyone anymore.” Edmund rubbed the back of Kirsten’s neck.

“But imagine a cockroach touching your skin.” Kirsten practically whimpered. “God, I feel like something’s crawling on me.”

“Nothing is crawling on you. Swim and you’ll feel better.”

“Bro, Kirsten hated insects and bugs as much as she hates nuts.”

“Damn, don’t I know that.”

“How?”

“Zoo.”

“Ain’t she weird?”

“Hey, stop talking as if I’m not here.”

“Sorry.” Edmund leaned to kiss Kirsten on the temple.

Gawain didn’t know how to act. He’d never seen Kirsten and Edmund show affection in front of them. Ever. He looked at his brothers swimming with their wives. Judging by how deep Bors’s scowl was, how wide Percival’s eyes were, and big Tristan’s smirk was, he bet they, too, saw the swift kiss.

“Hey, Alex. Good to see you again.”

“Good to see you too, Edmund.”

“Should we go in?”

Gawain stood beside Alex. “Don’t know, man. I think Bors is thinking about drowning you.”

“Well, let’s find out then,” Kirsten said, then pushed Edmund real hard.

Alex caught on. She tried to push Gawain over, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her off the dock with him. They landed in the water with a loud splash.

Laughing, Alex swam away.

“You little minx.” Gawain followed after her. He’d give it to her. She could swim real fast. As soon as he caught her though, he wrapped his arms around her waist. He fell backwards on purpose, like a beaching whale, taking Alex with him. Under water, he gave her a kiss. When they both came up, Alex’s cheeks were as pink as her top. He had just wrapped his arms around her waist when the splashing game began. Bors quickly became their victim.

“Damn you all,” Bors snarled.

As soon as he shook off water from his hair, they all splashed him at the same time. He dove under water.

“Fuck!” Tristan turned around, then swam away, his butt showing. “Watch out, guys. He’s pulling down trunks,” he yelled.

Bors targeted Percival next. Gawain decided to swim away, pulling Alex with him to the shallow part of the water. Once they were away and hidden on the other side of the tree trunk that leaned across the water, he stood on the flat rocks.

“We can hide here.” He grinned at Alex.

“Did you see Tristan’s bottom?”

“Yeah. Stand over here. The water is not too deep.”

Alex stood in front of him while holding her hands. “This is an awesome place. You swim here a lot?”

“Only during summertime. This place is frozen in wintertime.”

“I love the cold water and the hot sun.”

Gawain watched Alex lift her face toward the sky, her eyes closed. She was so beautiful. When Alex opened her eyes and looked at him, he knew his life would never be the same again. This woman whom he’d shared his body with, had taken his heart in return. With this new realization, he closed their distance. He ran his hands up her shoulders and neck before cupping her face. “I love looking at you. Have I told you you’re a beautiful woman?”

“Today. Three times.”

“Just three times?”

“Gawain…”

“You know, when I look at the stars at night, it feels like I am looking at it the first time. There is always something there that captivates me, takes my breath away, draws me in, touching my soul and heart. That’s how I see you, love.” Running his thumb back and forth on Alex’s cheeks, he gazed at her. Gawain bent down to capture her mouth.

She tasted of licorice. Despite being in the water, Gawain’s cock hardened. He lifted Alex. Her legs wrapped around his hips. With their position, he could feel her heat. Hands on her ass, he ground his hips while his tongue played inside her mouth.

Alex sucked him greedily. Her moans were hotter than the sun beating down on his shoulders, making his balls heavier and tighter. The length of his cock pressed against her warm pussy. Damn, he wanted to be inside her.

“Baby, you feel so good. I could stay here forever.”

“I like that.”

“You do?” he breathed in her mouth.

“Yes.”

He was about to sneak his fingers inside her strap when Percival’s laughter penetrated his pleasure-induced brain.

“Hey, the water is boiling! Take it easy, snot.”

“Percival, stop bothering them,” Addie chastised. “I’m rooting for you, Alex!” she yelled. “Make him go down on his knees! That’s where the Knights belong.”

“I’ll do my best, Addie,” Alex yelled back.

Alex tried to move, but Gawain kept her imprisoned. “On my knees?”

“Uh-huh.”

“Let me tell you a secret, my beautiful love. I like being down on my knees.”

“Then it’s perfect. I love it when you’re—”

Tristan made a howling sound while the others laughed.

“Get a room, you two. Neighbors share this lake with us.” Bors picked up a floating stick and threw it at Gawain and Alex. The stick landed close to Gawain’s back.

Gawain smiled but ignored his brother. “I kind of like the idea of getting a room,” he whispered.

“You’re so bad. This is embarrassing.”

“Nah.”

“Hey, back at the house in an hour. Tristan is barbecuing ribs and Julie’s favorite, huge Kosher hotdogs.”

“Bors, I’m not the only one who loves Tristan’s hotdog.”

“But you’re the only one who can eat mine with so much passion and love,” Tristan declared.

Everyone laughed.

Gawain shook his head at his family. “Leave us alone. Why don’t you go bother princess and the turd. Where are they?”

His brothers looked around. Just like that, they started swimming away—most likely to find Kirsten and Edmund.

“You’re all overprotective of Kirsten.”

“I’m sure Ema treats you the same.”

“That’s true.”

“You know, I haven’t heard you speak with an accent in days.”

“Because since I arrived here, you’ve been driving my fears away. You seduced me with your smiles, touch, love and affection. For the first time in so many years, I could sleep peacefully without worrying that I would not be able to give my mother the good name she deserves.”

“I seduced you?”

“Uh-huh. You’re one seductive Knight, you know.”

“Am I succeeding right now?”

“Yes.”

“Good. ‘Cause I’m not leaving here until I satisfy us both.” He pulled down Alex’s strap, lowered his head, and then captured her nipple between his lips.

“Gawain. Someone might see.”

“All right. Come on.”

“Where are we going?” Alex lowered her legs.

“Boat shed.”

They swam toward the other side of the clumps of small trees where an old boat shed stood. They reached the old ladder at the same time. “Watch out for the missing rung.”

“Are we still on Bors’s property?”

“Yes.” He gave Alex a push. Once they were both on the edge of the lake, he wrapped his arms around her waist again. “I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy the barbecue unless I tasted you first.”

“Gawain…”

He gave her a hard kiss that promised something more, then took her hand. They walked quickly toward the old boat shed. There, he found an old sleeping bag. He spread it on the ground. With his cock throbbing, he faced Alex. “I don’t know what you do to me, Alex.” Deftly, he unhooked her top. The small piece of material loosened. “I can’t take my hands off you.” He pulled it off, then dropped it to the side of the sleeping bag. Hungrily, he gazed at Alex’s breasts. “I want to suck you until you came, love.”

“Gawain….”

Using both hands, he lifted the beautiful twins and then licked each one. “Beautiful.”

Alex’s fingers dug in his hair. Her back arched, pressing more of her breasts into his mouth. “Hmmm…”

He let go of one breast so he could touch her stomach and hips. “You’re wet for me?”

Alex whimpered her reply.

Slowly, he slid his hand down to the sweet spot in between her legs. She was warm and slick. “Fuck.” Gawain sat on his knees and pulled her bikini down. He planted kisses on her belly, making her squirm. Oh, yeah. He knew where she wanted his mouth. Over the course of a few days, he’d learned her body’s secrets. Alex liked it when he caressed her ass while sucking her clit. He sat down on the sleeping bag. “Sit on me, Alex.”
