Cleansing juice, weight loss powder, patches—so how do you put it all together in a program that works for you? As I have said, with the Sexy Forever plan you have the ability to customize a program to fit your needs. If you cannot afford any of these products, use the eating program alone. If you can swing it, I highly recommend starting on Day 1 and 2 with the cleansing maqui juice. That two-day fast will only require the purchase of one bottle of juice. It really gets things moving! Each recipe indicates the food groups contained within, to help you as you plan out your meals. Many of the recipes are combinations of Protein, Vegetables, and Healthy Fats that can be combined with other recipes containing any or all of those food groups. You have so much variety and so few restrictions. It’s a simple, beautiful way to eat and lose weight.
If you see Carbohydrates in a recipe, remember to count them toward your three servings per day on the Detox Phase, or four servings per day on Level 1—Weight Loss. You will also see Insulin Trigger on recipes that include potatoes, corn, and so on. When you move to Level 2, your body will be able to handle these foods in moderation, so I have given you a handful of recipes for some of my favorites.
In addition, each recipe lists the appropriate phases so you know which recipes to enjoy while you are in Detox, Level 1, or Level 2. If a recipe lists
all three phases, it means you may have it during any one of the phases (according to the guidelines you learned about in the previous chapter). If a recipe only lists Level 1 and Level 2, you will not include it during Detox, and can look forward to it when you move to Level 1. Level 2 recipes are to be enjoyed when you reach your goal weight and are living the maintenance lifestyle.
