“It’s a week night,” I can be a bit boring, I guess.

“So? It’s always beer o’clock!”

I sigh inwardly. “Fine, Amelie at 8?”

“I just said beer, and you want to go to a wine bar?” She giggles.

“You know me, always the rebel,” I say and can feel her grinning from here.

“Oh yeah, that’s you alright.”

“Later.”

Sam is waiting for me when I show up at the wine bar. “Hey sweetie.” She gives me a hug.

“Hey Sammy, how’re things?” She’s already ordered my favorite wine. Yummy.

“Glad the week’s almost over,” she says. “You?”

“I found a room.” I sip my wine.

She lights up. “That’s great! No more putting up with Lacey’s bitching, let’s drink to that.”

I take another sip. “The flat’s a dream but the rent’s a bit more.”

“Come on, you can afford it,” Sam chips in.

“Sure, money’s not a problem anymore. How the hell did we survive on so little as students?” I shake my head. “Anyway, there are three roommates, men or women, no idea, actually. I think I was so blinded by the apartment I completely forgot to ask. One thing I do know is that it’s one guy at least. Tom.”

Sam grins. “Is he hot?”

“Hot doesn’t begin to cover it, tall, probably 6’2”, dark blond hair, green eyes, and a body to die for. Wet dream material, I swear. I don’t know how I’ll survive seeing that every day and not being able to cop a feel.”

I’m not sure her grin could get any wider. “Who says you’re not allowed to screw your roommate?” she asks.

I flick a hair out of my face. “That could get complicated.”

“How?” she looks at me, confused.

Sometimes she really is slow on the uptake. “Well, seeing him on a regular basis after a one-night stand could be a bit awkward,” I say.

“I don’t know what kind of sex you have in mind, but I think if you’re upfront about it just being a screw, that wouldn’t be strange. If anything, there’s a good chance it could happen again. Besides, just behave like the adult I know you can be.”

“Right and what if the sex is bad?” I ask.

“How can the sex be bad when you’ve got a hottie in your bed? Even if he just takes his clothes off, the sex will be good,” she laughs.

“True, but it might be better for me to look for sex somewhere other than my apartment.” I don’t tell her I’ve been going through a dry spell for about six months.

“Hey maybe there’s another man and you could have a threesome.” Sam seems delighted at the idea.

“Yeah, well only if he’s as hot as Tom. Seriously, the man is sex on a stick,” I reply.

“Have you thought about going down on him?”

I look at her and grin. “You know me too well.”

“I know you’ve got a bit of a thing for blowjobs,” she shrugs.

“Who’s getting a blowjob?” a loud male voice asks from behind us.

“Hi Josh,” we call and hug each other.

“I missed you so much, my little darlings.” Josh has been in the Caribbean with his latest fling.

“So? How was it? Did your dick drop off from overuse?” asks Sam.

He looks at her, offended. “Don’t be so blasphemous.”

I giggle at him. Josh is the best.

“I broke it off with Jason after three days and messed around with the diving instructor. I lost count of the blowjobs so who’s getting them here? What was I interrupting?” he asks.

“I was just telling Sam that I’ve found a new apartment,” I say. “My new roommate really is God’s gift to women.”

“Are you sure he doesn’t bat for the other team?” he smirks.

“Are you looking for another boy toy?” asks Sam.

He ignores the question and goes on. “And he’s that hot you want to suck his cock?”

I shrug. “I wouldn’t say no.”

He pats my arm. “Dear heart, I’m sorry to say this, but women just don’t know how to give good head.”

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Sam squeals.

“Why the hell not?” I ask at the same time.

He giggles, and I swear, it’s the girliest thing I’ve ever heard. “Women can’t give good blowjobs because they don’t know how it feels and what feels good and what doesn’t. Heteros don’t know how it can be either so they let women think they’re good at it. At the end of the day, even the worst blowjob is still pretty good.”

I look at him sceptically. “When have you ever been given a blowjob by a woman? Every gaydar in the vicinity goes off whenever you’re within a mile.”

“Touche,” he says, laughing.

And the three of us start giggling.

“Seriously though, sweetie,” he continues. “A blowjob is so much more than open wide and up and down.”

“We know,” chorus Sam and I.

“Teeth, pressure, sucking technique, gag reflex…”

Sam and I nod.

“The most important thing is to have fun with it. It’s so much better when the person giving it is enthusiastic about it. And the second thing is variety. You should know how to make him come within a minute or drag it out ‘til he begs for release.”

“Oh blowjob guru, enlighten us,” I tease.

“Well obviously it’s different for every guy, but most of them are very sensitive around the slit and the frenulum, if you flick your tongue gently there, most will come quickly.”

“Is that what it’s like for you?” Sam asks.

“Sweetie, I come immediately.” Josh grins.

“More tips!” I demand.

“Never forget his balls, especially the seam and please, only wet blowjobs are good blowjobs so lots of saliva, and I can’t stress enough how important building up the suction is.”

“What about deep-throating?” Sam asks.

“What is there to know? Practice, practice, practice. Every man is turned on by it.”

“But what about the gagging…”

He gives me a stern look. “Are you saying you’ve never tried it?”

I’m a bit embarrassed. “Sucking sure, but I’ve never had a mouthfuck.”

He seems to be appalled. “You’ve been missing out, baby girl. Let’s hope the next guy brings you up to speed.”

I tilt my head. “So…the gagging?” I prompt.

“If you put his cock in your mouth as deep as it will go and start swallowing, he’ll go deeper and you won’t gag.”

Sam is intrigued. “Really? I have to try that.”

“I should be giving BJ seminars to women. There’s obviously a market for it,” he laughs although I suspect he might be serious.

“What about teeth then?” I ask.

“Hmmm, touchy area, it varies. I would say avoid or wait until he asks for it and even then, gently, not like you’re tucking into a breakfast sausage.”

“Isn’t that obvious?” asks Sam.

“Alright, what are you supposed to do with the balls?” I ask.

“Kiss, lick, suck, nibble, teabagging…”

“Nibble? Aren’t they too sensitive?” Sam wants to know more.

“Again, it depends on the guy, but if you’re gentle it’s very sexy. It’s better to wait for some kind of hint from him otherwise you might give him a bit of a shock.”

“Every girl should have a gay best friend for tips on blowjobs,” Sam says, and I have to agree.

“Aww, I’d be neglecting my duties if I let you guys go out there and give terrible blowjobs,” he says. There’s no one quite like Josh.

“So when are you moving into the new place?” Sam asks.

“Saturday, Lacey can’t wait for me to be out and her territory to be safe from my predatory advances,” I reply with more bitterness than I really feel. I really do like Lacey, and I’m sorry she’s settled for this loser.

“Do you need our help moving, baby girl?”

I shake my head. “I’ve only got a few boxes and cases, I can manage. But come along anyway, you can stare at Tom, and we can drool over him together.”

Sam grins. “The best kind of friend shares her hot roommate.”

“That’s what best friends are for,” I say.

“Right, Saturday at eight in your new apartment. We’ll get to know your roommates and then we’ll go dancing!” exclaims Josh.

CHAPTER TWO

I just pile my stuff into a cab to bring it to my new home. Lacey’s goodbye is frosty, pretty much like the atmosphere in the apartment the last couple of weeks. Meh, life goes on.

Even though I have the key, I ring the bell. I don’t want to just barge in.

“Yes?” It’s Tom’s voice.

“Hey Tom, it’s me, Thea.”

“Hey Thea, you have a key, just come on up.”

“Could you just help me with some stuff?”

I can hear the laughter in his voice. “Sure, no problem, I’ll be down in a sec.”

I’m waiting with my five boxes and three suitcases when Tom comes out. Damn, I’m sure he looks better today than he did the first time I saw him. Two guys follow him out. Are these two my other roommates? I’m living with three men? Correction, three hot men?

“Matt and Will,” Tom introduces us.

They go to shake my hand, and I react just in time before it’s embarrassing. Matt is as tall as Tom, a bit more muscular, has brown hair, styled in a faux-hawk, brown eyes, dimples. I love dimples, there’s nothing sexier. He’s wearing a black t-shirt that shows off his amazing arms. Toned with tattoos. Lots of tattoos. Have I mentioned I love tattoos?

And Will is taller than them, also has brown hair, which is slightly longer, and he’s got that just-fucked look. His eyes are pale blue and intense, really hot. He’s got tattoos, too. These three guys really are a girl’s wet dream.

I haven’t seen them before, but with his naked forearms I can see Tom’s tats, as well. I swear I’ve died and woken up in bad boy heaven.

I don’t know what to do; I mean I don’t know how I’m supposed to behave around these three hotties. One thing’s for sure, my pussy’s hot for all of them, and I sure as hell wouldn’t kick any of them out of my bed.

The sensible part of me reckons I’ve got nothing to worry about as they’re so out of my league. I know I’m a babe. I’m tall, have long brown hair that, on good days, cascades down my back in silky waves. On bad days? Let’s not go there. My eyes are a dark chocolate brown with gold flecks. I’m not skinny, but I keep in shape with dancing. I have a great rack, my hips could be a little slimmer and my ass a bit smaller, but all in all, it’s a more than just okay package. But these boys have invented a whole new level of hotness.

They grab my bags, smirking sexy, as if they can read what’s on my mind. We ride up in the old and very slow lift with all my belongings. Tom turns to me.

“How long did you say you’d been in Frisco, ten years?” he asks, and I nod.

“And this is all you own?”

I shrug. “I guess, yeah.”

He laughs and shakes his head. “My book collection would take up more space than this,” he says.

“One word: Kindle,” I say.

He grins. “The kids these days.”

Kids? Isn’t he younger than me?

“This coming from you?” I ask.

He tilts his head. “How old are you?”

“28.”

“You look a lot younger,” interjects Will.

I lower my head. I’m a little uncertain of these drool-worthy guys.

“Good genes, I guess…How old are you guys, anyway?”

They’re all 30.

“Show us your license,” says Tom.

“Don’t believe me?” I say as I fish out my card.

“Sure we do.” He grins.

I hand it over and his eyes pop. “
Dr.
Theodora Bennet?” he asks.

“I really prefer Thea.”

He waves it off. “I meant your doctor title.”

“Oh. Right. Bio-engineering.”

We get out of the elevator, the boys carrying my stuff, and I unlock the door. Yay, first time using the new key.

“Do you also work in that field?” asks Matt.

I nod. “A biotech company here in the city.”

He smiles. “Sounds cool. Were there a lot of female students in that field of study?”

I smile back, a little shy, cause he’s so damn hot. “No it’s very male-dominated. There were only three women compared to thirty men in the PhD program.”

“That’s what I figured. I sometimes work with natural science companies and there are very few women…and almost none at management level. What exactly do you do?”

“Assistant technical head,” I answer.

He nods approvingly. “Not bad, there should be more women in the upper levels.”

I eye him sceptically, but I think he’s being sincere, and I’m surprised, he doesn’t look like the women’s rights type.

“And what do you do?” I ask.

He’s so sexy when he smiles. “Investment banker.”

“Oh, big bad shark.”

“You could say that, babe,” he grins.

Babe? That’s got to be one of the most stupid terms of endearment, but coming from him it doesn’t sound that bad. I give myself a mental slap. Get a grip, Theodora Bennet, you’re not fourteen anymore!

Tom and Will return from my room where they’ve deposited my stuff. Tom looks at his watch. “Hey, got any plans?” he asks.

“I’ve arranged to meet two friends. They want to check out the new place, if that’s okay?” I quickly add.

Will nods. “Sure, you live here now. Your friends are always welcome.”

I smile and relax. I have no idea why I’m so tense. Well, actually that’s not really true. I’ve never been in a room alone with a guy this hot; let alone three of them.

“We’re going dancing after,” I say.

Is it me or do they look disappointed? “You’re welcome to come with, if you want,” I offer and think I’m out of my mind to even suggest something like that. I’m shocked when all of them agree.

“Let’s order pizza,” suggests Matt. “We can get to know each other a bit better now we’re all living together—and your friends, too, of course,” he continues.

My inner alarm kicks off. “Er, maybe I should warn you…”

Will looks at me, curious. “What about?”

I look around awkwardly. “I don’t really know how to say this.”

“Spill it, how bad can it be?” Tom grins.

This is going to be so awkward. I just know it.

“So here’s the thing. My friends have a record of saying the wrong things at the wrong time. I just hope it won’t be embarrassing.” I really hope it won’t be, but I know them, know about our conversation, and therefore I am pessimistic. It’s just good that these three don’t know about anything we said.

“Why could it be embarrassing?” Will asks.

I shrug. “I never know what these two will come up with.”

“This is interesting.” Matt’s eyes shine with humor. “What could they say about you? Tell us now, so we won’t be shocked.”

I smile a little. “Well, they could tell you about that one time my skirt was stuck in my underwear…” Oh my God! Why am I telling this? I am completely out of my mind.

They chuckle, and I am feeling a little shy, not really trying to look up, but my mouth just doesn’t want to stop. “Or maybe what I said about you…” I really want to make it sound worse, right? I want to smack myself.

“What did you say?” asks Tom.

I don’t know why. I’ve never thought I’d be a masochist, but somehow I lost the filter between my brain and my mouth. “That you are hot.” That’s it. They will throw me out of Hunk Heaven.

I finally raise my eyes and am met with three beautiful smiles.

“You think I’m hot?” asks Tom. I can’t make him out, is he being smug?

I roll my eyes. ‘Not at all…’

And Tom smiles at me, insinuatingly. Hell, this is pure torture. How am I supposed to get through a day when they all constantly turn me on?

“This is so embarrassing,” I mumble and lower my eyes.

“Hey.” I feel a hand on my cheek. “You’ve got no reason to be embarrassed,” and I look into Will’s face, who is smiling at me warmly.

“I was already feeling uncomfortable about this evening because I knew it would be embarrassing. You don’t know what my friends are like yet.”

Will’s hand on my skin is sending multiple shocks through my system.

They smile. “Yeah, that’s friends for you,” says Matt. “Don’t worry, I can tell you a few stories about Tom and Will if it’ll make you feel better.”

Will’s hand is still on my cheek. “You better watch out I don’t reveal any of your dirty secrets, and there’s a lot more of them,” he says, and there’s a light-hearted atmosphere between them.

“Don’t be too sure, you’ve caused all kinds of trouble in the last twenty years,” teases Matt.

“I have nothing to fear,” calls Tom. “I’ve always been an angel.” He winks at me.

“Says the naughtiest of us all,” Will interjects.

I have a feeling living with these guys is going to be fun. Why the hell is Will’s hand still on my cheek? Is he going to take it away any time soon? I hope not.

“So you’ve known each other for twenty years?” I ask.

They nod. “We grew up here in Frisco and went to school together. After college we all came back here, or in Matt’s case he stayed put,” explains Tom.

I look at Matt. “I studied at Stanford,” he answers my unspoken question.

“And what do you two do?” I ask Tom and Will.

“I’m an architect,” explains Tom.

“I am in charge of my dad’s company. Maybe you’ve heard of us? BioKing,” Will explains.

My eyes go wide. “Are you Will King?”

He nods.

“Oh my God, you’re a legend!” I exclaim.

“I get that a lot,” he grins.

“And so very modest,” I retort.

“That too,” he winks.

I can’t believe it. The William King. I’m living with William King. He’s a genius and has revolutionised the Biotech industry. He graduated with a PhD from MIT at twenty-two, took over his father’s company, and turned it into the most significant firm in the field. He’s a living legend. Anyone working in this field knows him.

“I hope you’re not overwhelmed that you’re living with a geek star,” jokes Tom.

“I can’t promise anything.” I’m genuinely impressed.

Matt claps his hands. “Okay people, let’s order pizza. What kind do you and your friends want?”

“Cheese and peperoni,” I answer without delay.

Tom and Will set the table while Matt orders.

I stand around feeling a little lost and wondering what I should do. Will catches my eye and smiles gently. “Why don’t you get us some beers out of the fridge?”

Relieved, I go. As I’m grabbing the beers, Tom moves in to get the parmesan. Our arms touch and sparks fly. He winks and his body seems to press against mine or did I just imagine it?

I’m thrown. How can my body be reacting to all three of them like this? I went white hot when Matt called me ‘babe’, almost melted when Will touched my cheek, and the earth pretty much stood still when Tom was pressed against me. Could it be? Could I want all of them?
You slut
, I joke with myself affectionately.

“Earth to Thea,” Matt laughs.

I must have been in a daze. I blink at him.

“Do you want a beer, too, or wine?” he repeats the question.

“Wine for me. Sam will have a beer and Josh will have wine, as well.”

I notice them exchanging kind of strange looks that are impossible to interpret and over as quickly as they started.

“You’re meeting up with two guys?” asks Tom in a curious voice.

I laugh. “Ha, no, Sam is short for Samantha and Josh is my gay best friend.”

Why do I get the feeling they’re relieved? What is going on here?

I’m still the same old Thea, but these guys are hot; I can’t say it enough. And then I realise they must have hoped I had hot girlfriends and were put out when I said two men’s names. Oh well, now it’s just one hot girlfriend, and they’re coming out with us where these players can have their pick, I tell myself.

And there’s no question at all that they’re players. Women must throw themselves at their feet. I’d be the first in line, but I now live in this dream apartment and never want to leave, so I have to watch myself and not complicate things.

The bell rings, and I hear Sam’s voice on the intercom. “Let me in, sexy ass!”

Kill me now.

Will turns to grin at me. “Is that her?” he asks.

I nod and simultaneously want to bury myself in a deep dark hole.

“Okay, hot stuff, take the elevator to the sixth floor,” Will says into the intercom.

I’m not quite sure what to expect. Usually I am not embarrassed by anything, but that’s hard to believe given my reactions today, right? These guys seem to just break down every defense layer I’ve spent years building.

I hear giggling at the door and open it.

“Hey!” and I’m enveloped in a big hug. As their arms fall away, Sam and Josh’s gaze fall on the trio behind us. Both look dazed and dry-mouthed.

Oh yeah, been there, done that.

Sam’s the first one to come out of the stupor.
