Chapter One:

Jenna

It was so difficult to sit through dinner, and dessert and
coffee afterwards, when Eric kept giving her those looks.

His dark eyes saw right through her, and
Jenna knew she was tried and found guilty without one single question being
asked.

The sentence would be one
sound spanking… unless she could convince Eric that she had the ‘right’ of it.

And she
did
have
the ‘right’ of it!

At least from her point of view.

Her sister Stacy wanted to be loved for
herself, and not because she was a television news reporter.

Men asked her out all the time, but
eventually Stacy would learn that all they were after was a share in her
limelight, or
they
wanted her help in expanding their
own career.

In short, the men that Stacy
thought loved her were only using her.

Jenna thought that Edmund Cross, a new member of the law firm where Eric
worked, was perfect for her sister.

She couldn’t see any harm in inviting them both to dinner on the same
night and allowing nature to take its course.

Eric, on the other hand, called it
matchmaking, and that was something he was totally against.

In fact, he was so totally against
matchmaking, that he’d promised her a spanking to remember if she attempted it
in any way.

The dinner went well, and even a blind man could see that Stacy
and Edmund were taken with each other.

When Edmund offered to give Stacy a lift home, she readily accepted, and
they did not linger over their goodbyes.

Jenna headed straight for the kitchen while Eric was shutting and
locking the door after their guests, and she started loading the dishwasher,
just to have something to do to keep her hands busy while she waited for Eric
to start scolding.

He didn’t keep
her waiting.

“Jenna Hart Davidson, you are going to get that sweet
tush
of yours set on fire.

There is no way in hell that you can
convince me you didn’t plan to set up Edmund and your sister.”

The look on Eric’s handsome face was
disapproving, and if she had any doubts about it, the hands he had on his hips
and his stance let her know how unhappy he was with her.

“I didn’t plan to try and convince you of that, darling,”
Jenna softly proclaimed as she put their dinner plates into the
dishwasher.

“But, the important
thing is that they really hit it off and I think they will be just right for
each other.

You know how lonely Stacy
has been, and Edmund is new in town.

And when you told me that his mother hosts a local cooking segment in
the city where he grew up, I knew that he wouldn’t be star struck when he heard
what Stacy does for a living.

He
would see her as a person, and not as someone who could advance his television
career in some way.

They also have
a lot in common, more than I realized when I invited both of them for dinner
tonight.

Don’t you think it was a
good idea?

“I think that you expressly disobeyed me and ignored my
wishes about matchmaking.

What if
the two of them do get involved, and then have a bad breakup?

We will be stuck smack in the center of
it, and they will both blame us.

Are you prepared for that, Jenna?”

“Maybe they will be like us and have a happily ever
after…?

All I did was invite two
people to have dinner.

I did not
suggest that Edmund give Stacy a ride home; he came up with that idea all on
his own.

And, I did not insist that
Stacy accept his offer.

She did
that all on her own.

I don’t think
either of them realized I was matchmaking.”

“We’ll see.”

Eric was not convinced.

“In
the meantime, young lady, you crossed a line with me, and you are going to face
the consequences.

You can stop
fiddling with these dishes and take yourself into our bedroom and get ready for
a sound spanking.”

“I’m not fiddling around here, Eric; I’m cleaning up the
kitchen, and I can’t go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink!”

The very thought scandalized her!

“I’ll finish cleaning the kitchen, Jenna, but you are going
to do as you were told, or you’ll get a spanking right here and now,
and
the one you earned for
matchmaking.”

His expression told her he was serious as could be.

Jenna hurried from the kitchen before
she made matters worse than they already were.

She shut the bedroom door behind her, a
little trick that would let her know when Eric entered the room, even though
she had her back to the door, and her nose in the corner.

The
door knob
always rattled just a bit when it was touched, and that way Eric couldn’t sneak
up on her, something she hated with a passion.

The bedroom always gave her a sense of peace, even when she
was about to be punished.

Eric
never punished her without a good reason, and a spanking healed any upsets they
had before they turned into major problems.

As much as she hated to admit it, Jenna
believed that domestic discipline was a good foundation for marriage.

When Eric informed her before they were
married that she would be spanked if she disobeyed him, or if she broke other
rules… rules that she agreed to… she was shocked.

He gave her time to think about her
decision, and Jenna did as he asked, and gave the matter some serious
thought.

She went over Eric’s
explanation and was reassured that he would always take her opinion and her
wants and needs into consideration before making a final decision, but on
serious matters, his decision would be final and once it was made, she would
not argue and fuss.

It would save
power struggles, and if the decision proved to be wrong, he would carry the
guilt for making it.

He also agreed
that the rules in their marriage would apply to him as well, and would be
agreed upon by them both.

The
difference was that he would self-discipline if he messed up, while she would
be spanked.

The thing, however,
that convinced Jenna most of all that this was the type of marriage that she
wanted was the news that his parents, and his grandparents, practiced this in
their marriage, and they were so obviously in love and happy that it brought
tears to Jenna’s eyes.

She agreed
to Eric’s conditions, and he agreed to a condition that she set for marriage…
no drugs unless
they were prescribed by a medical doctor for
an illness
.

A good friend of
hers had developed a drug habit during high school, and overdosed their senior
year.

Jenna knew she couldn’t bear
watching another person she loved going through that hell.

It was a condition that Eric didn’t even
have to think about.

He didn’t do
drugs of any kind, and he never had… pretty much for the same reason as
Jenna.

Only, his high school friend
didn’t overdose.

He went through
rehab… three times, but thankfully, by the time he and Jenna were married, he
was sober and planning to stay that way.

Jenna took off her clothing and put it either in the hamper
to be washed later, or in the closet.

She and Eric didn’t like clutter, and they lived as neatly as
possible.

She put on a nightgown,
went to the bathroom and prepared herself for bed.

Jenna hurried to get to the corner and
pull up her nightgown to bare her butt before Eric surprised her by coming into
the bedroom sooner than she expected him.

He didn’t appreciate dawdling, as she’d learned early in their
marriage.

He’d sent her to the
bedroom to wait for a spanking, telling her he was going to mow the grass.

Jenna thought she had plenty of time, so
she turned on her laptop, and didn’t go straight to the corner as she was told
to do.

Eric changed his mind about
mowing the grass because the yard was still damp from an early morning
shower.

Jenna earned punishment for
not obeying him, and for refusing to accept the punishment she’d been
given.

She did not want a repeat of
that ever again.

Still, she stood in the corner with her nose pressed in the
crevice for a good twenty minutes before she heard the doorknob rattle,
announcing Eric’s presence.

Jenna
felt her buttocks clinch in anticipation of the pain they would endure in the
next little while.

Spankings were
never pleasant, but they did serve to make things right in their marriage, and
she always felt safe, cherished, and loved afterwards, even though her bottom
would be stinging like crazy.

“Have you thought about the possible ramifications of
matchmaking, wife?” Eric asked, his voice deep with disapproval.

“I’d rather be hopeful, Eric.”

Jenna just couldn’t think of the
negatives.

“I know I disobeyed you,
but I love Stacy enough to risk your displeasure.

I want her to have the happiness we
have.”

“I want that for Stacy, too, Jenna, but it isn’t your place
to play the matchmaker.

It is a
form of manipulation that I will not tolerate.

You’ll have a clearer appreciation of my
feelings on the subject by the time you’ve spent the next hour over my knee
getting your backside blistered.”

“Hour?” Jenna screeched, shocked.

“You
deliberately
disobeyed me, Jenna Davidson.

That
warrants a seriously long session over my knee.

You will not enjoy this spanking.”

He took her by the arm and marched her
directly over to their bed.

Jenna tried to pull away as Eric sat down, but he gave one
little tug, and she fell over his lap.

His left arm wrapped around her middle, effectively pinning her right
where he wanted her.

Eric pushed up
her nightgown and Jenna felt vulnerable as could be.

The spanking started then, and Eric was
not gentle.

The spanks were hard,
and he was not giving her any sort of a warm up, which proved he was really
upset with her.

Jenna had the
redhead’s typical delicate skin, and the pain was terrible.

Owwwww
!

Not so hard, honey!

Please!

It hurts too much!” she insisted.

“It is supposed to hurt.

Deliberate disobedience hurts our
marriage,” he scolded, making sure he reddened her sit spots next.

“Ouch!

OUCH
!

No!!!!

No!!!!”

She tried to fight her way off his
lap.

When that didn’t work, she
tried to
wiggled
her bottom out of his hand’s way, but
Eric seemed to know exactly which way she would twist, and his hand found its
target each and every time.

He even
spanked her sit spots, and the tears she shed were very real.

“You are hurting me, Eric!”

She hoped she could guilt him into
sparing her.

“You hurt our marriage,” he answered.

“This spanking has lasted less than five
minutes so far; if Stacy and Edmund have a bad breakup, their hurt will last
much longer than five minutes.

You
are going to accept the consequences of ignoring my wishes about
matchmaking.”

The spanking resumed,
and this time it was very deliberate.

He gave her five spanks on one cheek, then five on the other cheek; five
on one thigh, five on the opposite thigh; ten on one sit spot, ten on the other
sit spot.

The spanking continued
with Eric ignoring her pleas for him to stop.

When he stopped again, it was to tell
her that twenty minutes total had passed.

“I can’t take any more spanking, Eric!” Jenna insisted.

“I am already going to be black and
blue.

Please stop!

I promise I will never do any
matchmaking again!”

“That is good to hear, but your punishment is not over.

You may go and stand in the corner and
come up with another punishment that you feel will discourage you the next time
you are thinking of setting up two people.”

“I don’t want another punishment, honey!” Jenna tearfully
looked at him, her blue eyes imploring him to hear her.
