Shifting Michelle’s Boundaries

Michelle Needham’s sordid rendezvous with hunky Craig Matheson turns into a whole new experience when he reveals that not only does he want to see her again, but so does his best friend, Jack Page. She’s unsure at first, but decides to jump in with both feet and has an unforgettable night with the two men.

The closest of friends for many years, Craig and Jack are ecstatic that they’ve finally found a woman who’s willing to be with both of them. But they’re also worried. While she was accepting of their odd relationship, how will she react when she finds out that the two men are powerful supernatural beings, able to take on the forms of animals at will?

Will the lust triangle survive the incredible revelation, or will it all come crashing down around them? Either way, Michelle is in for a hell of a ride.

Chapter One

It took more than a few glasses of white wine for Michelle to pluck up the courage to log onto the website. If she hadn’t been so damn horny she might never have managed it. The site was called Casual Sex On The Quiet, and was all about anonymous hookups with no strings whatsoever. If guys could do it, why the hell couldn’t she?

Her fingers curled around the stem of her wineglass as she scrolled down the list of new additions. The rules seemed simple enough, even to a drunk technophobe. She’d pick a likely-sounding ad, send an anonymous message, maybe exchange a photo or two, and then arrange a meet up in a hotel somewhere. Perfect.

After the breakup with that asshole, Ed, mindless sex sounded right up her alley.

“God, what if I ended up meeting him in the hotel?” She smirked. “Nah, my luck isn’t
quite
that bad.”

One or two adverts caught her eye, and she was more than happy to find several had thoughtfully included pictures—from the neck down, naturally. Quite a few had skipped the physique shots entirely and gone straight for shots of their cocks.
Classy
. That said, they were certainly having the desired effect. She pinched at her nipple through her T-shirt, rolling it slowly between her thumb and finger as she browsed.

It had been way too long. And even longer still since the sex had been
good
. Ed had been all charisma when clothed, but put him in a bedroom and he became a selfish prick. As soon as he was done, he lost interest, and he was usually done far too quickly.

She realized she’d been scrolling through the adverts without really looking, and scrolled back up a little way. One particular advert caught her eye. Or rather the photo did. There were two men in the image.

She smirked and clicked to enlarge the image. Now, two men would make a change, wouldn’t it? The pair stood shirtless with their arms over each other’s shoulders. It looked like a sports picture of some sort, though there wasn’t much to go off in the shot. Not that she was looking at the surroundings.

Two guys?

Images of old fantasies popped into her head. Fantasies she’d long ago given up as silly. One guy would sweep her into a powerful kiss, holding her as the other man ran his hand up her leg and under her skirt. Then she’d be thrown onto the bed, and the men would take off their clothes, their eyes devouring her as she did the same…

“Oh, wait a second.”

There was a note under the photo saying, “I’m the one on the left.” She shook her head, smiling at her runaway mind.
She doubted she’d ever have plucked up the nerve anyway. One anonymous man was one thing—she knew what to do with man—but two? That was another thing entirely.

She eyed the man on the left of the picture carefully. With no face it was hard to tell age, but he was definitely somewhere between twenty and thirty-five, judging by the physique. Whatever he did for a living it involved a lot of hard work and probably some sun, given the muscular, tanned torso. The idea of running her hands over those rock-hard pecs certainly wasn’t terrible.

“What the hell, it’s not like I have to go through with it.”

She knocked back the last of the wine and clicked reply.

* * * *

Craig woke earlier than he’d like. Partly because he had to head into work, and partly because of the three-hundred-pound panther snoring on his couch. Jack was passed out on his side, his breathing slow, steady, and apocalyptic. He’d probably been up all damn night again.

“Jeez…” Craig threw a pillow at the cat. “Jack. Wake the hell up.”

The panther stirred, one lazy eye opening just far enough to glance at Craig. He wasn’t pleased at the early alarm call, if the flash of six-inch-long teeth was any indication. A low growl resonated in his throat, vibrating the room with its volume.

“And cut that shit out, too. You don’t scare me.”

With a sound almost like a sigh, Jack rolled onto his front, stretched out his paws and closed his eyes again.

“You better not have tracked crap in again.”

Craig climbed out of bed and stretched his back as he walked into the bathroom.
Wish I could lounge around till the afternoon.
A crackling came from the sofa, followed by a much more human-sounding sigh.

“I don’t know how you manage it,” Jack called from the bedroom. “All these early mornings.”

“Beats staring at a screen all day long.”

“Oh, that reminds me…”

Craig jumped into the shower to the sounds of his PC’s start-up jingle. No doubt Jack was checking his e-mails. Craig shook his head as he stood under the hot water. Most shifters he knew had no interest in computers and social networking, but Jack was all over it. Even had a job working with the damn things.

“Maybe it’s a cat-shifter thing,” he muttered. “Us wolves are too busy being awesome.”

“I heard that,” Jack called. “Any time you want a rematch, you let me know.”

“Yeah, right.”

He had to give Jack that. He may be a lazy ass at times, but there was nobody he’d rather have on his side in a fight. Wolves were agile and quick thinking, but one swipe from Jack’s huge paw and they found themselves wishing they’d stayed home that day. Craig couldn’t ask for a better housemate.

They had both been out on the hunt last night, but had gone their separate ways. Jack was fully accepted in the pack, minus a few muttered complaints when he was well out of earshot, but he still liked his alone time. That said, when Craig had asked if he wanted to move in to help with the bills, Jack had jumped at the chance. They went way back, after all.

Craig stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist before padding out. Jack was indeed sitting at the computer, but instead of checking e-mails he was on some website with photos of women.

“If you’re going to jack off, do it after I’m gone to work.”

Jack snorted. “Shut up and come see what I did for you.”

“Did for me?” Craig peered at the screen and spotted a familiar photo. “Tell me you didn’t.”

Jack grinned. “I couldn’t find a suitable photo, so I used the one from that hunting trip. I pointed out which one you were, don’t worry.”

“Well you can go ahead and delete it. You know I hate dating. It’s too damn tricky once you get to the ‘I’m a supernatural creature’ part.”

“Who said anything about a lasting relationship?” Jack tapped the screen. “This place is all about hookups. If anything else comes of it, great, but nobody goes into it expecting anything other than hotel sex.”

Craig shook his head and headed back to the bathroom. “Get rid of it before someone sends a message.”
