Reaching forward, I run my finger over one of the scars that she was left with after that night. At first she flinches, but then she sinks back into the mattress. “How long do I have to stay here?” The question is nothing more than a question, but it feels like a knife is being shoved into my chest. Laying on the bed next to her, I look up at the ceiling.

“Once we deal with the Fighting Rebels, you can go.” The words come out harsher than I intended, but I can’t bring myself to really give a fuck. Instead of sitting in the silence with her, I get out of bed, and make my way to my dresser. Pulling out a pair of jeans, I pull them on and grab my boots. When I look over my shoulder, I see her watching me intently. When her eyes meet my tattoo, I see them widen.

Not long after she left, I got a tattoo that reminded me of her. This way, no matter how far apart we were, she would always be with me. Grabbing a tee shirt, I pull it over my head and pull on my cut. Before I make it out the door, she stops me.

“Stavros.” Her voice glues me to the spot I’m standing. Looking over my shoulder at her, I see the questioning look.

“It only means as much as the person it was designed after.” I don’t say anything else; I just walk out of the room, and let her think about it.

I had this designed for her, and only her. It’s one of the only tattoos on my body that has a true meaning. It holds a promise and curse all at the same time. I’m bound to her in ink, just like she’s bound to me.

Walking into the bar area, I see a bunch of people gathering around. Families are starting to arrive, and the prospects are starting to unload boxes of shit that they got at the store. Hopefully it’s enough to hold everyone over for a few days at least. I know I’m going to be sending these fuckers out a dozen or so more times before we even get anything accomplished with the threats that are looming over our heads..

I see Trixie come strutting in with a little dark haired boy on her hip, and I know shit’s going to get fuckin’ shitty in here. Trixie has been a club whore for a little over six years, and she’s slept with every one of the men here. That little boy belongs to one of my men, and when his ol’ lady gets here, she’s going to know that he’s been stepping out on her.

Shit, a bunch of my men have ol’ ladies at home, and a whore they fuck here on a daily basis. It isn’t my problem, so I don’t even bother with the drama. I was never the cheating type. As long as Harlyn was my ol’ lady, I never once stepped out on her. She was the only thing I needed, and the only thing that ever got near my dick. Sure the bitches tried on a daily basis, but I had all I needed wrapped in a tight little package that was feisty, kinky, and sexy as fuck.

When she left, sure I started to dip my dick inside the other bitches around here again, but I never made another promise of ol’ lady status. Never again will I go down that fucking road unless she steps back up to the plate and reclaims her throne.

“Prez.” Red says as he walks over to me.

“Yeah, brother?” I look over his shoulder and see Romeo watching us. He doesn’t make a move towards us, but I know that he always sees everything. He’s the watcher of the group. That’s why I have him as my right hand man. He sees things that others miss.

“I have a feeling my ol’ lady is going to cause a fucking scene.” I look back at him and his eyes roam until they lock on Chrissy. She’s one of the newer whores that started to hang around here.

“She knows?” I ask. I’ve known about him stepping out on his ol’ lady before, but the look on his face says it’s something more than just the cheating.

“She found the text messages on my phone one night and I told her to keep her mouth shut here, but you know how bitches are.” I nod my head. I already had to deal with Delilah yesterday.

“Keep them away from each other. I don’t want more shit going on in here than we can handle.” He nods, and I motion for Romeo to come over to us. Red is a good fuckin’ kid, but he got married way too fuckin’ young. I don’t know why he doesn’t just cut ties with the bitch, but then again, that isn’t my problem. Hell he isn’t the only one in that fucking mess. E is in the same damn boat.

Slink walks in the room next with his arm around his ol’ ladies neck. She looks ten times better than she did when he brought her here the first time. They make their way towards a few of the other guys, and I turn my attention back to my VP.

“We might have a few angry ol’ ladies today.” He nods his head and looks around at the men and their families that are already gathered.

“Is there someone else besides Trixie and her boy?”

“Yeah. Red has been stepping out with Chrissy. Plus, we probably haven’t heard the last of Delilah.” He grins at that. Sometimes I swear he likes to piss me the fuck off.

“What? You’re the stupid fucker who stuck your dick in that pussy, not me.” I shake my head and watch a few more people show up. Scanning the room, I see Delilah strut in wearing a skirt so short that her twat is hanging out, and so is her damn ass. Her shirt is tighter than normal, and I can bet that it’s because she’s trying to get a rise out of me. She almost trips on her fucking shoes and I can’t help but laugh.

“That bitch is a walking train wreck.” Romeo muses from beside me.

“You have no fucking clue. I can’t wait until we are able to get everyone out of this place.” A few of the guys come walking up to us, and before I can even say anything, Delilah comes right at me. She jumps into my arms and I hold my hands in the air. Her mouth attacks my face, and when I look at my men, they all have grins on their faces. Pushing her off of me, I watch her ass hit the hardwood floor as she cries out in pain.

“Stay the fuck off me.” I growl. She looks up at me and I can see the tears already forming in her eyes. I don’t give a fuck. Bitches and tears don’t do shit to me. She knows better than to throw her skanky ass on me.

“Stavros.” She whines. She stumbles a few times trying to right herself, but only looks more like a fool. “You said that we are together. You said that you’d make me your ol’ lady.”

My men snicker beside me, and I can’t help but shake my head at her. Leaning towards her, I grab her arm and whisper in her ear. “Stay the fuck away from me, and Harlyn. You so much as come near me or her again and I won’t hesitate to put a bullet in you. We clear?”

She jerks out of my grip, and all but runs across the room towards the bar. “That looks like it went well.” We all turn towards Harlyn’s voice and I can see the satisfaction written all over her face.

“I already told her. Just thought I should reiterate my point.” Turning away from her, I focus on my men. “What can I do for you boys?”

Clap and Mirror both look at Harlyn, and then back at me before stating whatever it is they wanted. “Just wanted to let you know that the game room is set up for the kids, and the whores are set to stay in the last room down the hall.” I nod my head and they leave.

“So you’re just going to ignore me now?” She has no fucking clue what I’d rather do to her right now, but I have a club to run, and we are getting ready for a lock down. Things are more important than what she wants.

“No, I’m busy.” I grunt out. I can feel Romeo staring at me, but I don’t care. She isn’t staying here longer than the lock down so why should I give her the time of day.

“Whatever.” She mutters. I feel her walk by me and I watch her ass shake as she makes her way towards Trixie and her son. As soon as Trixie sees her, she screams out her name and rushes over to her.

“Oh my god! You look so freaking good!” They fall into a fit of hugs and giggles. I watch her eyes light up when she takes a look at the little boy, and my chest constricts. She deserves that and so much more, but I already know that I’m not fit to be a father. Hell, I’m not even fit to be her ol’ man.

“Watching you two is like a fucking train wreck. Its fucking gruesome, but you can’t look away.” Instead of replying to his stupid comment, I make my way towards my office and shut the door. I don’t want to deal with this shit. All I want to do right now is drown in a bottle of Johnny.

I end up spending most of the day in my office looking over invoices and shit. By the time dinner rolls around, Trixie comes to the door and asks if I want anything. “No baby, I’m good. Thanks for the offer.” I hold the bottle up for her to see, and she shakes her head. She walks in the door and shuts it behind her.

When I look up at her, I can tell she wants to say something, but isn’t sure how I’ll react. “Just say it, Trix.” I sigh, sitting my pen and bottle down on the desk next to me.

“She still loves you.” Running my hand down the front of my face, I sit back in my chair and stare at her for a second.

“How would you know?” I know it’s a stupid question, but I couldn’t help but ask it.

“Because all she can do is talk about you. The whole time you’ve been in here, she’s been scanning the room, just waiting for you to come out. She acts like she hates you for what you did, but she doesn’t. She knows that you had to do it in order to protect her. She doesn’t get how damn lucky she is. You would give your life up for her, and look at me,” she motions to herself. “I’ve got a kid by a man who will never leave his ol’ lady. My son will never know who his father really is because he’s a chicken shit bastard. At least Harlyn won’t have to worry about whether or not you’re going to be that child’s father.”

Getting up from my spot, I close the distance between us and wrap my arms around her. “I’m sorry he’s a fuckin’ moron. You deserve better, baby.” The door to my office opens and I hear a gasp and then it slams shut again. Closing my eyes, I can feel my anger come back.

When Trix pulls away, she looks like she’s sorry. She isn’t the one who’s taking this out of context, Harlyn is. “I’m sorry if I just made things worse for you.”

“Don’t worry about it. Just worry about your son. Are you getting money from E?” She shakes her head no and I walk over to my desk and grab an envelope. “I know that this isn’t the same as him taking care of his son, but let me help you. I love you like a bratty little sister, and I don’t want you or Blade to want for anything.”

She shakily takes the envelope from me, and kisses me on the cheek. “I’ll pay you back Stavros. I promise.” I shake my head, but she grabs my hand and tells me again that she will.

“Okay. Fine.” What she doesn’t know is that I’ll just take the money she gives me and put it in a fund for Blade.

I watch her walk out the door, and she gives me one last sad smile before she goes. Grabbing the bottle of Johnny Blue, I make my way to my room to finish the bottle.

Opening the door, I look in and see that she isn’t here yet. I make my way inside, and strip down. As much as I don’t want to, my mind starts to replay another happy fucking memory with Harlyn. Sometimes I just wish the damn thing would shut off so I could have some peace.

“I love you.” The words that were so meaningless before, now stop my heart. This perfect fuckin’ angel in my arms shouldn’t love me. She shouldn’t even want to be with me, but for some reason she is. She makes my darkest days brighter, and for once, I can actually see myself settling down and having kids with her one day.

“I don’t know why you’d love a man like me.” I whisper against her lips. They turn up into a smile, and she pushes back from me so she can look into my eyes.

“You’re the only person who hasn’t treated me differently because they think I’m still just a kid.” Her lips are looking pouty and full. I can see the whisker burn on them, and on her neck. My hands run down her back and grip her ass, pressing her body to mine.

“That’s because they don’t get to experience this sexy body of yours. Yeah baby girl you’re young, but, fuck, you take my dick like you’ve been doing it for years.” She pushes at my chest and I can’t help but smirk at her.
