“What’s this?” I
asked, holding up a bottle of black liquid.
“Fish sauce.” Jimmy replied
, without looking up.
“Fish sauce?”
I questioned. “Sounds delicious.” I scowled.
“Hand me the bean noodles
.” I passed him a carton of stiff clear noodles. They looked like plastic. Jimmy put them in the colander and poured a kettle of boiling water over them.
“Where did you learn to cook like this?” I asked.
“My mom,” Jimmy said preoccupied with cooking. He never cooked for me before. Jimmy moved like a master chef.
“Mama’s boy
,” Cho said, walking past. He plucked a red pepper from the cutting board and ate it. “Jimmy always helped Mom cook as a kid. I thought he’d end up being a chef.”
Jimmy ignored Cho. He continued to move around the kitchen in a flash. I found myself watching him lustily.
A mixture of the delicious smells, and watching Jimmy’s butt while he stirred made me ravenous.
Food and sex, what could be better?
Cho wandered in and out of the
kitchen hungrily. “When’s it going to be done?” Cho whined. “I’m starving.”
Jimmy
sent Cho to set the table. Cho pulled out a long table and three folding chairs. Jimmy rarely used the dining room. Occasionally, he used it as a reading room for clients. Cho spent twenty minutes hanging paper lanterns, and decorating the room. He covered the table with a red silk cloth. He set several black ceramic tea candle holders along the table. In the center he placed a black vase filled with red roses.
Cho entered the kitchen after
he finished. “Get out of the kitchen, both of you,” Jimmy said. “I’ll get you when it’s ready.”
“I like watching you.” I pouted.
“Go, and take Cho with you, he’s driving me crazy,” He said.
“Come on.” I sighed. I took Cho’s hand and pulled him out of the kitchen.
We went into the living room and sat waiting impatiently. Cho’s cell phone rang. “Hello,” he answered. I noticed his voice softened. “How are you?” he asked.
Cho’s talking to a woman.
“I can’t,” he said to the phone. “No, I’m still in Indianapolis with my little brother….Yes…Yes…He’s doing alright,” Cho said. He’d turned his back to me.
Cho’s talking to a
girlfriend
. “I’m sorry, I’ll miss that,” he said. “I’ll see you when I get back….I don’t know. I’ll call you,” Cho got a big smile.
I stared at
him. “What?” He asked.
“Who was that?” I asked.
Cho folded his arms. “A friend.”
“A lady friend?”
“Yes,” he said. “Are you jealous?”
“Come on, Cho!” I
smacked at him. “You know more than I’d like about my love life...
dish
!”
“There’s nothing to dish.” Cho said
, poking my shoulder playfully.
“Is it serious?”
“No.” Cho laughed. “I don’t have serious relationships.”
“Do you like her?” I asked.
“I guess.”
I
scooted close to Cho and gave him an interested look. “Why are you being so secretive?” I asked. Cho’s lady friend was a pleasant distraction from my rumbling belly.
Cho pushed at my advancement and shifted away from my hounding.
“I’m not. There’s nothing to say. We’ve only been seeing each other a little while,” he said. “It’s nothing serious. One of those ‘no commitment’ kind of things.”
I bounced on the couch like a kid. I had fun making Cho uncomfortable for once.
“Fuck buddies?” I asked.
“I guess
,” Cho said. He gave me a crooked smile. “I don’t have time for anything serious, and after Stephanie, I don’t want to get married again.”
“So you have a frien
d with benefits,” I said. “You’re just like Jimmy.”
“What do you mean?” Cho asked. “
I’m not afraid of commitment. I don’t have time for it.”
“I bet she has a mysterious soul mate too. Right?” I teased.
“It’s not like that,” Cho said. “I like her, but she works a lot, and so do I, right now it works.”
“What works?” Jimmy asked
, coming into the living room.
“
Cho just got a booty call,” I said. I giggled and pushed Cho’s arm. Cho rolled his eyes.
“That’s great
,” Jimmy said. “I felt bad for you. I figured you couldn’t get it up anymore.”
“Screw you!” Cho grumbled.
“No, thank you,” Jimmy said. “Come on, dinner is ready.”
Jimmy took me by the hand and led me into the dining room. He
lit the lanterns and candles. The room felt like a romantic Chinese restaurant. Jimmy pulled out a chair. “My lady.” He handed me a rose and pecked me on the lips. I blushed.
“No thanks. D
on’t pull my chair out, but how about a kiss?” Cho puckered his lips at his brother. Jimmy ignored him. He disappeared and returned with an arm load of dishes.
He served
spring rolls, some kind of dumplings with a delicious sauce, and lobster all over a bed of vegetables and noodles. “Looks delicious,” I said.
Jimmy turned on a small stereo. It played softly in the background.
He opened a bottle of red wine and poured each a glass. “Let’s eat,” Jimmy said. I dug into my plate. The food tasted wonderful.
“Oh God,
I’m in heaven.” Cho said, shoveling the food in his mouth. I ate without speaking. Jimmy picked at his food. “You haven’t lost your touch Little Brother,” Cho said.
“Do you cook a lot?” I asked
.
“I had a dinner party once or twice when I first moved to Indy, but not recently
,” Jimmy said. “I mostly cook for my family.”
I ate until I almost burst. Each dish
exploded with flavor on my tongue. Cho ate so much he unbuttoned his pants. “I think I’m going to puke,” He said.
“There’s still desert.” Jimmy announced.
He cleared the dishes and returned with three cups of hot chocolate and crème Brule. Amazed at Jimmy’s skills, I asked, “When are we getting married? I want to eat like this every night.” It embarrassed me to think about the times Jimmy ate my terrible cooking. I made basic things like chili, and thought I impressed him. Jimmy always choked it down without complaint.
“If I found a woman who cooked this well, I’d marry her
,” Cho said. “You’ve got me spoiled.”
“Angel Eyes” came on the stereo. Jimmy and I looked at each other lustily.
It reminded us of our love making. Jimmy took me by the hand and danced with me. He held me so tender. I pulled his hair from the bandana and ran my fingers through it. I loved Jimmy’s hair. I placed my head on his shoulder. He smelled like dinner, it was exotic and sexy. The evening couldn’t get better.
No one
mentioned the murders, the file, or any of the unpleasant business of the previous day. We sat at the table laughing and joking with each other. Jimmy and I questioned Cho about his lady friend, but he declined to comment. I considered how Cho would be with a woman. Cho acted rough around the edges. I doubted he went out of his way to give anyone a nice evening. I sighed, pleased to have Jimmy instead of Cho.
“
I’m going to jump in the shower,” Jimmy said. “I smell like food.” He sniffed his shirt.
“I don’t mind
,” I said. “You smell good enough to eat.”
“Is that an offer?” Jimmy asked. He flashed a mischievous smile.
“Maybe,” I said.
“Let me get a shower first.”
Cho made gagging sounds at us. “That was a great dinner; don’t make it come back up!”
I
cleared the table while Cho ran dish water. I offered to help.
I’ve got it
,” Cho said. He flipped suds at me.
“It’
ll take less time if I help,” I said.
Cho tilted his head to the
sound of the shower running. “Go,” he said, “before he gets out.”
“What?” I asked.
Cho took the sprayer and doused me with water. “Ooops,” he said. “You should go take a
shower
. You’re a mess.”
“Are you suggesting
that I take advantage of your brother?” I asked, innocently.
“
I’m not getting any tonight. He might as well.” Cho sneered. “Go thank him properly for a wonderful dinner.” He sprayed me again. He thoroughly soaked me with ice cold water.
“Cho!” I screamed
, wiping water from my face.
Cho laughed. He sprayed me again.
Child!
“You’re already wet.” Cho pushed me. “Go.”
I
rushed to the bathroom, soaked and freezing. I slipped in the shower while Jimmy lathered his hair. I ran my nails down his back. He turned, eyes closed, and felt for me. “What are you doing in here?” Jimmy asked.
“Your brother
soaked me,” I said, huffy.
“Mmm
,” Jimmy said. I picked up the body soap, squeezed some in my hand, and lathered his body. He turned his back to me. I rubbed the soap into his back and butt. He had a great muscular butt.
Jimmy turned
to face me, aroused. I knelt on my skinned knees and sucked at him. I grabbed in his rock hard butt pushing him in my mouth. Jimmy let out a little cry. The tile floor hurt, but I held the pain in. He grabbed my head and thrust himself in my throat. I fought the urge to gag. He cried out and squirted in my mouth, without warning. It surprised me. He tasted exotic. I found it pleasurable. I swallowed.
I stood to relieve my knees. Jimmy pulled me close his chest. He
kissed my neck. “You swallowed,” he said in my ear. “I like that.” He poured soap in his hand and placed it between my legs. Gently, he lathered me. I gasped. I leaned against him as he caressed my sex. I grabbed his hair and pulled him into a kiss.
God I love his hair.
Jimmy’s fingers teased and stimulated me. The delight shook my legs like electricity. I convulsed. I started to cry out in ecstasy, but Jimmy covered my mouth with his to quiet me. I fell against him breathing hard. “I want more,” he said. I felt his hardness on my back.
“I can’t
,” I panted.
“I’ll do the work.” He bent me forward to the shower wall and pulled my hips to him. I yelped
when he penetrated me. I thought I couldn’t reach another orgasm, but I did. I shivered as Jimmy spilled his warm thick seed into me.
I have to quit doing this!
We flirted with disaster. When our desires took over nothing mattered, but it would matter if I got pregnant. I loved Jimmy, but I didn’t want kids with him. At least not now.
D
rained, we couldn’t speak. Jimmy washed himself off and held me for a long time. Finally, we mustered enough energy to get out of the shower. Jimmy wrapped me in a warm towel and left me alone in the bathroom.
I dressed and went to the living room. I found
Jimmy draped over the chair with a glass of wine. He looked completely satisfied. His hair hung loose and dripped on the floor. He wore a towel and a smile.
I love looking at him!
Cho sat on the couch with his laptop. “Good Shower?” Cho asked as I passed behind. I smacked him in the back of the head. “That’s what I thought.”
CHAPTER 15
We kissed and cuddled on the floor next to the couch while Cho worked on his computer. He tried to ignore us, but occasionally made snide comments.
“I could be at home with a beautiful woman on my dick, but instead
I’m stuck here babysitting for Romeo and Juliet.” Cho muttered.
“Does Mercutio feel like a third wheel?” Jimmy ribbed. “My brother has always been fond
of tragedies.”
“What are you working on?” I asked.
“I’m doing an internet search of the Holy Covenant Church,” Cho said.
This caught our attention.
“Find anything?” Jimmy asked. We stopped making out and focused on Cho.
“Zilch
,” He said. “You’d think the church would have at least a telephone listing, but they don’t.”
“That’s odd
,” I said. “I have several flyers at my apartment. There’s an address and phone number on them.”
“I did find this.” Cho said
, turning his computer to me.
I sat down beside him and read the web page. It was more of a blog called The Covenant Manifesto. An anonymous person wrote it under the on-line name
Holy Grail
. I briefly read through some of the posts. The guy was a racist. He wrote about the cleansing of the superior white race. He said that the second coming wouldn’t happen if we continued to mix races.
